When I called to set up an appointment as a new patient I was surprised because the wait to get in was pretty significant (several months), but the person I spoke with explained it was because Dr. Martin only has a limited number of new patient appointments each week, and the rest of her time is devoted to current patients. So, that works out to a slightly long wait to get in for the first time, but much shorter wait times once you're a patient! Like I said though, Dr. Martin is absolutely the best doctor I've had. At my first appointment with her, she really sat down and spent as much time as I needed with her to review my health, my concerns, etc. I've never had a physician give me that much of their time and attention, and it really meant a lot to me. Each of my subsequent appointments has been shorter, but I still leave each time feeling like I was really listened to and taken seriously. I also really appreciate that her style is to provide lots of information for me to make choices for myself, rather than feeling like she's making the decisions for me or pushing me in any particular direction. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Martin to anyone!

My husband and I interviewed Dr. Schneider before she was born and decided to go with him on the very high recommendations of my sister -- whose two daughters (now in their mid-20s) were also his patients. You will find he is a blessing to your family. One early morning I arrived at his office before hours with an emergency. My daughter, eight months, was having her first asthma epidsode. My first reaction was to drive to Dr. Schneider's house (his office is on the same property). Four hours later -- when she was stable -- he sent us for a chest x-ray and then home with all the tools we needed to handle the next episode. I've loved him since. His son Zach Schneider came on board a few years ago and while I was reluctant at first to try the new doctor I quickly found that he fills his father's shoes well and doesn't disappoint in his bedside manner or knowledge. Two months ago (yes TWO) I scheduled an tele-visit for July 28th at 3:00 p.m. The doctor was a no-show. I called after 5:00 p.m. on July 28, 2023, to reschedule the visit. I left a message asking for an in-person visit instead. I called Saturday with no expectation of anyone being in the office, but I wanted to leave a message hoping to receive a return call on Monday. Monday, July 31, 2023, in the afternoon I called and a live voicemail service answered my call. The person happened to be the same gentleman who scheduled my July 28th. appointment. I was transferred to the receptionist, got the voicemail, and left a message. I called a second time on July 31st at 4:15 p.m. and left a message. Still, no return call. Tuesday, August 1, I call after 11:00 a.m. The live voice service transferred me to the receptionist. No receptionist, so I leave another voicemail. Noontime I call again and this time I left another voicemail expressing that this is the worst front desk service I ever had. I do not know what it takes to get someone to return the call, but this is not a good service. I was unable to write a shorter review because the details are important. If you want a great doctor, you will find it in Dr. Williams, but getting a person on the phone in order to make your appointment is where you are going to find the problem. If the receptionist is unable to handle the job, then she is not suited for the job.

It's typically very easy to get appointments, even same-day if you call really early. My wait is never very long, probably 20-30 TOPS ever. The nurses are all very friendly and helpful, and I also never have to wait long for the Dr after I go back. It's also inexpensive if you don't have health insurance, at $40-$60 per sick-visit, depending on what you needed. I always see Dr. Tadimalla. I recently had a bad allergic reaction to penicillin and she was genuinely concerned and very helpful, not dismissive like some Dr's can be. The place is also very clean, and has a nice little waiting area for kids if need be.

When I arrived, Pam took my information and co-pay and asked me to have a seat in the waiting room. Pam is efficient, polite and a pleasure to deal with. I only waited 5 minutes past my appointment time before I was taken to an exam room by an assistant, Grace. Again, efficient and polite. The staff at WellAve is awesome. After a few minutes, Erin Brimhall, came in to perform the exam. She quickly diagnosed this gross thing on my neck and froze it off right then and there. I also have some weird thing going on with my arms. Erin recommended a steroid tape and told me how much my pharmacy would probably charge - $55 (she was correct, BTW). She told me if it was $55 and I didn't want to pay that much, she could prescribe a less expensive medication and to just let her know if I wanted to go that route. Erin first recommended the tape because it's way easier to work with than the topical cream. Good recommendation. She asked that I follow up in 6 weeks so she could check that gross thing on my neck again. Erin has a terrific bedside manner and doesn't rush through the exam. She takes time to be thorough and answers your questions. Back to Pam, who found me an appointment 6 weeks out at a convenient time. These people get it. When you make an appointment, you expect to be taken as close to your appointment time as possible. So many other practices just don't seem to care if they waste your time. Add the promptness to the capable, efficient and polite staff, and you've found the best dermatology practice in the area.
