Great experience. Got a last minute appointment, last of the day, and Dr. Horowitz was still at the top of his game.

Parking isn't that great, in what I believe is the front of the building. Upon entering, one would be confused, as I believe the surgery center is in suite 103. This suite is more easily accessed through the rear of the building. Once inside, the waiting area is of a nice size and is quite open, initial staff that you meet are cordial and competent. Issues: THE WAIT, are the physician's over booking? Not sure, it is understood that this isn't readily the center's fault; however, during the wait the patient appears to be forgotten. I mean who really checks on you? Did you need something? Are you cold? Did you have to use the restroom? Staff had to be sought out. In addition to the fact that there were multi staff persons to one patient.... Furthermore, they aren't overly polite, rather robotic- as a patient, you aren't really made to feel comfortable, nor are things communicated effectively as to why they are being done. Upon check out, it doesn't appear as though everyone is a knowledgeable about procedure and gathering information. Also, it was communicated that this place is under the auspices of PG Hospital. Meh. Will not choose, or accept any future procedure at this location.

Very nice people, have been there twice and have always felt welcome. Very attentive and kind staff.read more

Also behind my favorite physical therapist, chiropractor and massage therapist, Chiro 1st. The office is nice and modern, well appointed and decorated. The waiting area is a private room away from the front door, which is a nice touch. I waited an entire two minutes before being seen by the doctor. He's very upbeat, patient and thoughtful. Also has a sense of humor which is important to me. His staff is also very friendly but all business too. You can pay you copay online the day before your appointment and it's very easy. That is cool. Lots of paper work and it was just easier to print out and use a device called a "pen" to write by hand the answers to the questions they asked. You can also answer some online but he will refer to what you write on your first visit. So that is a good time to convey what you want him to know. You may not remember everything when consulting with him. I hope I don't have to see a lot of this doctor in the future but if you're in the market for a general surgeon, this is worth checking out. I think I got into the wrong line of work. That looks like something I would enjoy. I'll keep you posted on how things turn out! Cheers
