Instead, they're essentially telling you, "Good luck" finding another practice because this one can no longer accommodate you." Two months ago (yes TWO) I scheduled an tele-visit for July 28th at 3:00 p.m. The doctor was a no-show. I called after 5:00 p.m. on July 28, 2023, to reschedule the visit. I left a message asking for an in-person visit instead. I called Saturday with no expectation of anyone being in the office, but I wanted to leave a message hoping to receive a return call on Monday. Monday, July 31, 2023, in the afternoon I called and a live voicemail service answered my call. The person happened to be the same gentleman who scheduled my July 28th. appointment. I was transferred to the receptionist, got the voicemail, and left a message. I called a second time on July 31st at 4:15 p.m. and left a message. Still, no return call. Tuesday, August 1, I call after 11:00 a.m. The live voice service transferred me to the receptionist. No receptionist, so I leave another voicemail. Noontime I call again and this time I left another voicemail expressing that this is the worst front desk service I ever had. I do not know what it takes to get someone to return the call, but this is not a good service. I was unable to write a shorter review because the details are important. If you want a great doctor, you will find it in Dr. Williams, but getting a person on the phone in order to make your appointment is where you are going to find the problem. If the receptionist is unable to handle the job, then she is not suited for the job.

It's also inexpensive if you don't have health insurance, at $40-$60 per sick-visit, depending on what you needed. I always see Dr. Tadimalla. I recently had a bad allergic reaction to penicillin and she was genuinely concerned and very helpful, not dismissive like some Dr's can be. The place is also very clean, and has a nice little waiting area for kids if need be.

Well, I guess it was taking too long so the dr. comes in (11:50) and says we have lunch at 12 and then I have a meeting so we need to hurry. I am not kidding. That is exactly what she said before she even introduced herself! (It was my first visit). Mind closing. I asked if I should came back at better time and she said if you have a lot of issues you may need too. (Wow) I said I am only here for one issue but I can come back at a more convenient time because I don't want to cut into your lunchtime. Once again she said I may need to if it takes too long because insurance limits the amount of time you can be seen. (ooook) The assistant started telling her the info he had gathered from me and I start thinking to myself, if she wants to eat lunch right at 12:00 why didn't she come in herself and ask me those questions or see me at the actual time of my appt. I knew at this point it wasn't going to work out so I wrapped up the appt without my issue being addressed and was in my car by noon. Mind closed. My previous doctor of 8 years, who recently left the practice I used to go to, would have never treated me or anyone so unprofessionally. I would guess with a reasonable amount of certainty that any 5 star ratings on this doctor are likely family members trying to help her get her practice off the ground. I don't see that happening either. I do wish the kind assistant who I saw first the best of luck. He deserves better.

From the folks you talked to when you called to place an appointment, to the front desk staff when you arrive, everybody is very friendly, helpful, but also professional. Dr. Martin's support staff is also great. When you're getting your vitals taken, you're never treated like they are in a rush and they also always make sure to answer any questions you may have. Dr. Martin is amazing. She is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough, but takes a whole body approach. She asks a lot of questions and gives you time to share any of your concerns with her. Neither of us have ever felt rushed when we were. The office is very spacious with a large waiting area and very well-maintained. If you need lab work done, they even have a lab downstairs in the same building; so it's very convenient. If you're looking to switch primary care providers, I cannot say enough great things about this practice.

From a quick web search: Johns Hopkins has different late policies by department, but generally, being more than 10-15 minutes late may result in rescheduling or being placed on a waitlist for later availability, so it is crucial to call the specific clinic ahead of time. Some locations also apply a grace period, while others consider lateness a no-show, potentially leading to a fee or even discharge from the practice for repeat offenses. Not good customer service. I think I'll find a new doctor and new location.

During my visits, it wasn't crowded so I was seen fairly quickly. Both visits, the same tests were administered and results for the more in depth tests are sent to the lab and provided within 24 hours. Overall, I only have positives to say. The place is clean, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, there's plenty of parking, and they play great music. Earth, Wind, and Fire was playing during my latest visit. I have been coming to the Bowie Office Probably Over 10 years! I have to admit, there are times when I have had to hold for 10 minutes but I have never experience the rudeness or disrespect. What I have experienced is calling my doctor at the beginning of Covid19 because I was very sick. However because I did not have a high temp (my norm runs about 95, I was at 100 for me, it was high.) I was not considered a priority at the ER! I called my Dr. at MPC in Bowie, who told me to come to the back door, took my temp, took the nose swab and sent me back to the ER with a note! I was told, don't read-it, give it straight to check-in. I don't know what it said but I was finally tested and had Covid. I know, when I was a new patient and saw my Dr. I was given labs early afternoon which included blood work. My doctor, read my labs and left a message that I needed to come back to the office and she would wait for me. I got the message after 7pm but went by. I was pre-diabetic and she wanted me to have medication on the cruise. See she remembered a previous conversations about me trying new deserts when I cruise. I can call my Dr., send messages for my mom, dad or myself and get answers or appointments. BTW - she/they treat my parents and my husband. Here is our story.. my husband was in a serious accident today. I have connections in healthcare and was able to expedite his care. He had 3 significant breaks and a tear in his shoulder. We called Berezs office for an orthopedic referral and pain meds. The office closed at 2pm and had no on call option. We were told to deal with it or go to hospital. Unacceptable. Do not use this practice. I had to do 1 star because 0 isn't an option.
