He never turned his back at us when leaving our table, but instead backed away slowly and out, which made us feel royal. At start, he served us an appetizer on the house: a Polish traditional food called "szmalec." We then ordered a couple traditional Polish foods. They serve most Polish dishes. The food was amazing, and as I usually request, he made sure my dish was gluten free. I had the deer ragout, which was delightful. My friend tried the Polish beet soup and dumplings filled with ground meat. At the end, our waiter served us two glasses each of two different liqueurs commonly drunk in Poland. We had wine to the meals. The check ended in around 180 Polish zlotys, which equals around $57. I highly recommend this secret place. Even though it won't be such a secret for very long then.
