Located in POLIN, the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, this place has some typical museum restaurant attributes: cafeteria style food distribution, trays to self-transport food, no table service (at least during the lunch hour). But the dining area is very spacious, with a nice bank of windows for the sun to stream through on good weather days.
In terms of the food selection, I appreciated the hummus bar concept. They give you generous dollops of 2 kinds of hummus, plus your choice of toppings (lettuce, radishes, chicken, tomatoes, etc), plus pita. My plate ended up having a healthy balance of protein and veggies, and the overall price wasn't astronomical. I'm docking a few points for the pita, which was a little hard and not so fresh, but otherwise an enjoyable experience at what is an EXCELLENT museum. The permanent core exhibition can take a while to get through, so you may need a pre or post-viewing refuel here. read more
