Had an great Americano. I had Kari's Benedict, which was a very healthy and filling breakfast. Loved the avocado and spinach. Great atmosphere. Stop and check it out. read more

It's a good thing the food was tasty because it took almost an hour to get it to our table from the time we placed our order. It even took so long that our server came to ask us if we were ready for our check, and we had to remind her that we hadn't actually eaten yet. Although it was a Saturday afternoon on the cusp of tourist season, we were seated right away and the cafe was only about two-thirds full so the kitchen was just struggling (there was a sign on the door that said "now hiring kitchen help," which probably had a lot to do with our experience). I'm not sure the food was worth the price - two Reuben sandwiches, two bacon cheeseburgers, and four sodas was $61 - but the cafe did have a very rustic and enjoyable ambiance. read more

Montana Mush. The homemade chicken noodle soup. The strawberry topped pancakes with REAL whipped cream. The only thing sweeter is the staff =) There can be a long wait if you don't time it right, but with good reason. It never disappoints. And the Thanksgiving Dinner they so lovingly put together every year for our community is enough reason alone to support dining here =) read more

Seriously yummy! Great menu, wonderful pastries, prompt service. We had a great meal and will definitely go back again. I took cupcakes home and I regretted not buying more! read more

This place is so awesome!!! every time me and my friends go we are very satisfied with our food and the waitstaff. The menu is great, with all the quirky sayings! Their desserts are fantastic, and sometimes they tempt you with cinnamon rolls fresh from the oven. My fav is the salmon sandwich. When visitors come to town I always try to bring them here! read more

Best B&G (biscuits and gravy) ever!!! Great food! Great price! Great service! Pancakes are amazing, burgers are amazing, and the people are amazing. This is one of my all time favorites in the Flathead Valley! read more

Delicious! This is a simple, diner-style restaurant that goes the extra mile. It was clear from the staff and the menu that the owners really want to give people there money's worth here. I had the reuben here and it was probably the best reuben I've ever had. They make the corned beef and the saurkraut in house and it made a huge difference. The meat and kraut had clearly been crafted over time as they were full of flavor, not simply thrown onto a piece of bread like you might get at other places. We ate outside and got to enjoy the lovely weather of northern Montana in the summer. Great location with shops and other activities right nearby. This is the perfect lunch stop for a day in Bigfork. read more

We have been here multiple times. Food is good, but expensive. Unfortunately, the service takes sooooo long. Last weekend we were served our coffee in to go cups because they ran out of coffee cups, and it took ONE HOUR for the food to get to the table. Wish they could get the service thing down... we want to love this place but don't think we will be back. read more

My husband and I had breakfast at The Pocketstone Café this morning. My husband loved his rancher breakfast. I chose to go lighter with 2 eggs over easy, a fruit cup and a delicious homemade English muffin. Everything was fresh and delicious. We will certainly return when we are in the area. read more

I frequent Pocketstone in the summer, often eating on the patio in front where I can have my small dog. I have always enjoyed excellent service and delicious food. Today, late September I stopped by for breakfast and asked if a chair could be moved to the patio as I had my dog with me and there were tables outside. The waitress said "no" and asked the other two waitress' and received the same answer. Really - how disappointing. read more

The cole slaw rocked!! Even gave us the recipe. The barista was very sociable...took a while for her to do coffee orders due to chatting for a while before filling orders. There was 45 minute wait at beginning of lunch hour but was on a weekend in August. Will definitely go back! read more

I had the pleasure of eating at the Pocketstone Cafe twice and both times were exceptional. Several of the menu items have clearly been created - some from from traditional favorites and others from the mind of the chef. All of them are served hot and flavorful. Our group was so impressed with lunch we made a point of returning for breakfast the next day. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered from pancakes to omelets to the homemade English muffins. The roast beef sandwich and the Reuben were both outstanding but the caramel pecan pie was incredible. Not to be missed. read more

If I could give this no stars I would. Our meal resulted in food poisoning. This underreport end issue is more likely when the restaurant is in a tourist driven economy like Big Fork's. Watch out. read more

Love this place, BUT they keep raising their prices so that it makes it way too expensive to go often.

Great, casual atmosphere and nice staff. We went there for lunch and although there was a bit of a wait, we were able to go shopping nearby and were quickly paged when our table was ready. Our order was received in a mimimal amount of time and the food was great. We went back for breakfast the next day! Delicious! I recommend the homemade English muffin with jam (from the shop next door!)! read more

Wonderful place to eat - breakfast or lunch! Their pancakes are as good as it gets and their Reuben sandwich is the best I have ever had - anywhere! They have been "discovered" so be sure and allow yourself plenty of time, especially during the summer. read more

best place in Bigfork for breakfast and lunch this place uses the best ingredients ( nay a plate full of grease ) can't find a better breackfast seven days a week unless you drive to Whitefish. The other breakfast places in Bigfork may be cheaper but u get what u pay for or maybe not even read more

The problem with the Pocketstone appears that everyone on the staff seems to have a basic general apathy towards making the guest feel welcome. My party and I walked in while the restaurant was decently busy but nothing that a restaurant of this size couldn't handle. My party and about 10 other patrons stood at the front door while 3 tables were open to be sat. When we asked if we could seat ourselves we were looked at like we were from another planet. The best part is after about 15 more minutes of waiting they sat us all at the tables we suggested anyway. After being sat, we waited about 15 more minutes before a server came up to take our order. I will say that the food came out rather quickly, but most likely because it wasn't fully cooked. I give this two stars because I'm a great fan of luke warm, moderately priced cuisine. The reason my party, and the other patrons, never left is because this service experience was like watching some train crash in a Michael Bay movie. read more

Worst service ever. We had read reviews about the poor service ahead of time but decided to give it a chance anyway. We walked in at 6:30am--they open at 6--and noticed three tables with people already seated, and they all had forlorn looks on their faces. No one had food. The waiter didn't even come out from behind the counter. He literally tossed some menus at us and told us where to sit. Fifteen minutes later, we were still waiting for him to take our order, and apparently at least one other table was also. They still had menus also, and the mother and child sitting there looked like they were getting ready to leave. Then a woman walked in to order some kind of espresso drink, and the waiter proceeded to serve her before everyone else. That's when we got up and left. As we went out the door, the waiter said, "Sorry, we're really busy." Four tables is not busy, and it might help to get out from behind the counter! read more
