There were some items that I'd come back for and highly recommend such as the spicy garlic boneless chicken and the pocha k rosè Tteokboki which were both decently priced. The Hot Cheetos and fries was interesting LOL most of the stuff we got you can definitely make it at home. The bulgogi was the most disappointing tbh. Flavor was good but the pieces were too shredded. Everything we got was quite flavorful and needed some rice to balance it all out! The reason this place earns a 4 star from me? Open late at night esp in this part of the Bay Area and definitely good vibes with the cutesy decor and photo op section in front. Caught up with friends I haven't seen for a while, got a soju + beer tower, and they play k-pop. Everything you'd want coming to a Korean bar. I loved this place! We had a soju tower which was beer and peach soju combined, filled about 6 glasses. Ordered boneless soy garlic chicken, cheese corn, Kim chi fried rice, Pocha Rosé Tteokbokki, and the tonkatsu cheese cutlet! All of the dishes were fantastic, nothing too salty or too overfried. To order, you press a button which notifies the staff that you want to order or need something. They're very quick and responsive. The inside is gives a fun, bar atmosphere. Lobby reminded me of a boba place. Same kind of decor. Dining area reminded me of a nightclub. Good size beer and food was delicious. The spicy garlic chicken was tasty. I'd rate the corn higher if the cheese stayed melted longer. It tasted decent but cooled too quickly and the cheese became a clumpy mess. Kimchee fried rice was good. Located in a pretty accessible area with a ton of parking. Came here after eating because me and a couple homies still had some cravings. We ordered the Boneless Chicken and the Nacho Cheese Corn along with a couple drinks. I just came back from Korea not too long ago and this place does a decent job of recreating the pocha experience I had in Gangnam lol, from the lighting to the music (no unconscious patients clutching a bottle of soju here though). We came on a VERY busy Saturday night and probably waited about an hour to be seated. Were starving so ordered a bunch of things as well as a soju/beer tower (very affordable and great with a group of friends!). Everything we had was pretty good - the garlic chicken, mussel soup, tteokboki, and gyeranjjim in particular stand out in my mind. First off, we were sad that a favorite spot was full with a long waitlist so we decided to try Pocha. We were not let down. Service was OK. I had to flag down a waiter even though we pressed the little button to summon someone, but as that did not really work I just raised my hand and a waiter came over. When they say "shareable plate" they mean HUGE plates, in general. We had expected smaller plates, so we ordered a bunch of food to try. Anyway, we had to take a lot to go. The vibe of the place is definitely a K-pop club. Loud and very busy! The spicy boneless chicken was amazing. Crunchy and not too sweet. And spicy, though not much even though we asked for extra spicy. Pocha fries was a huge plate of fries with Cheetos on top with a sunny side up egg and everything drizzled with some creamy sauces. The Kimchi fried rice was ok for fried rice. Not as good as expected, but it was good. The Chicken Gizzards were terrific. Great taste combination. And the Spicy seafood tofu soup was amazing and outstanding. The broth was so flavorful. The main things to note are that you don't really get Banchan and the portions are large. But a terrific place to try. I should mention that it was a bar-like environment, with chairs and benches. They had a pretty extensive mocktail and Soju list, and 2 Korean beers I had not seen offered before (Cass and Terra). All together we will be back. read more

I went here for dinner. The front of the shop is a perfect place to take pics. They have cool neon lights. Inside, there are cool lights too. However, I found the food there average. One of the things I got was a soup, and it was too salty. Another one was ribs, the ribs' favor was really bland, and the inside was a little dry. The bulgogi was somewhat decent. This spot opened up in Newark. The one I knew of was in Santa Clara, i'm glad that they expanding. This is a cute spot, when you walk in there's some photo ops to the right. Plenty of seating, and there's also a bar. You scan a QR code for the menu and there's a button that you press to call your waiter over, which I thought was convienent. The interior of this place is pretty cute, and I enjoyed the vibe and music. Soju was really tasty and reasonably priced, and service was really quick and easy. They've got a bell on the table that you can ring if you need anything, and they were super on top of refilling our waters. The best thing we ate was probably the spicy garlic boneless chicken followed by the corn cheese. The grilled bulgogi came out sort of lukewarm and not fresh though; it felt like it was pre-made and just assembled with the onions (which were still mostly raw since it wasn't cooking on the plate). Surprised and super excited to see the beloved Pocha K has opened a second location in Newark. This gem might just be my new hang out spot as it's a lot closer to my house. Walking in, we were amazed at all the cute photo opts that we could get for the gram.... This Pocha is spacious, well decorated, and feels a lot more intimate seating wise. If you check in on yelp here you can get a whole FREE bottle of soju. My party of 4 was immediately sat and i like how for the menu you simply scan a QR code. I will admit the menu here is less extensive as the one located in el Camino however, they are still serving up our favorite sharable dishes such as the Pocha fries and cheese corn. Unfortunately, since this location is so new it was very empty on a Saturday night. Our server/ host was a short girl who was sweet, but didn't once check in on us which is why I'm giving four stars. Friends and I were originally trying to go to a tofu soup restaurant but they ran out of rice (like what??). Anyways, I'm glad they did because I discovered this place and I have no regrets! It's like a more upscale KaYuMi's with even yummier food, even if it was more on the expensive side. We ordered the Spicy Garlic fried chicken and dang, it was sooo good! Came here around 6pm on a Wednesday and it wasn't crowded yet so there was no wait. Love the set up of this place, it's very aesthetically pleasing. They have a cute background wall to take some pics with your family and friends. As for the food, I pretty much enjoyed majority of it! Everything was portioned right for the price of it. I went there with my friend and we tried Boneless Chicken and Kimchi & Pork fried rice. Boneless Chicken is super gooood and I will give 10/10. Kimchi & Pork fried rice is ok and it will be 7/10. The wait was so so long even on a Wednesday night my party waited over 45 minutes mainly because there was like a party of 20 for no reason.. but honestly I came here not having too much expectations on the food however, I was left shocked. The korean food was actually really good and it satisfied my cravings for the night. I've been to daebak in Santa Clara and this place is way better IMO. Relatively clean and lots of parking in the area. But really the food was pretty solid in my opinion as a korean food lover.. make sure to get ur name on the list asap as sometimes the wait can be long. Found Pocha K thanks to Yelp! Went on a Friday night at 7:30pm and the parking lot was big, but also full. However, we managed to find a parking spot within 5 mins. I went with a friend and we waited about 15 mins for a table. The place was packed and has a really cute entrance area to take Instagram worthy photos. The inside was so cute, they did a great job decorating. We ordered the Bulgogi, but unfortunately the server said they had already ran out of it. Instead we got the Spicy Garlic Boneless Chicken and let me tell you that it was AMAZING. We asked for the sauce on the side and really happy we did, it was just so flavorful and the chicken was really crispy. We also ordered the Fried K Dumpling (Pork & Veggie) which were good, my friend dipped them in the spicy garlic sauce from the boneless chicken and it made them even better. The Peach soju cocktail was too sweet for my own preference so next time I'll just get a beer. The service was great and the food was soo good. The chicken was actually really good was really crispy and had a good flavor. The cheese corn was alright really nothing special . The dumpling were ok they were really bland they were kinda crispy tho . The Tteokbokki was my first time trying it and I did not like it at all took one bite of it did not expect it to taste really fishy . The only negative I would say is the service, this is the kind of restaurant where they don't come to check on you or take your order. We had Pocha fries that cost $16.00 and consist of regular fries, cheetos (yup, the crunchy snack) & 1 fried egg. The pork belly tasted bland and the boneless chicken and fried rice were just ok. The service could also be better. There is no server that will check if you need anything such as water, napkins etc. There is a button to press in case you need a server.
