Tonight I went to the drive through for quick service! I love how they now have card free service. It's really easy! if you leave your Mac card at home, just get on your mobile banking app and they will generate a code for you that you input into the ATM. It's that boring! Lol! (That's what PNC says about your money) and you have instant access to your funds! Now, I made a deposit, right at the drive thru. You don't even need a paper receipt anymore, they send a receipt of your transaction and a photocopy of your check to your email address. This issue started with their customer service number. I paid off a large bill today using my debit card for a contractor Then I went to the county tax office to pay my taxes when I got there the debit card was rejected because it exceeded the daily amount. So I called the customer service and got someone whose English was almost intelligible but they told me that they could fix it so they put me on hold for about five minutes and contacted their manager and said they had raised my daily limit so that I could make the payments. I went back into the tax office and tried again this time it was rejected because of fraud. So I called again and I was told it was fixed and again another person I had to ask him to slow down and speak clearly because of their accent I couldn't understand them then I asked where they were based from and they said from the Philippines. Back into the tax office and again rejected because of a fraud issue so I call again same sort of run around i've told it's fixed I go in and try it again, And it's rejected due to a fraud issue Again I call and try to clear it up and I'm told it should work fine, Keep in mind I've spoken with 4 different people who English is clearly not their native language this will come into play later/. Back into the tax office and they again get a fraud issue at this point I'm fed up and I use a credit card to pay it I'll pay it off next week so I won't get hit with a nineteen percent interest rate. At this point I'm pretty antsy and I go to the local bank as I have another tax payment I need to make and don't wanna put that on the credit card and also don't wanna go to the weekend with my limit maxed out. So the CS person she says there's nothing she can do about it she can just elevate it to the next level but she tells me I probably called the wrong number that's why people were telling me this so I pull out my cell phone and show her the number she has nothing to say. Then she tells me they can't raise a limit on your debit card and have it be effective the same day So then I explained or so your customer service people were pretty much lying to me and she has no direct response to that. At this point I mentioned that they could barely even speak English and they were hard to deal with and they told me that the customer service was based out of the Philippines to which she told me P N C Bank uses only American local customer service. Interesting how I got 4 people with the same accent and it was clearly not in America. She told me that that person meant they were from the Philippines not in the Philippines. And if she had an accent that would reminded me pretty much of Natasha from Beauwenkle or Melania Trump she got real hostile at me. And I said well maybe I should with just withdraw all my money from the bank and switch it to someone else if this is the way I'm going to be treated and I was told well I can get you a cashier's check right now if that's what you want Which I replied clearly you don't care about my being your customer. Now I will admit I was testy and not real pleasant to deal with because I'd been lied to half a dozen times by these people and treated like I was an idiot I didn't know the PNC Bank phone number, I couldn't tell an overseas call center and I'd been lied to 4 times already and tried to pay my taxes off with a card when a fraud issue kept coming up talk about being embarrassed. At this point she pretty much told me to leave and actually started trying to talk to another customer when I still was not done. Not sure what I really wanted to do at this point but I wanted someone to admit that I had been lied to and I was treated like I didn't matter. read more

literal worst bank i'm genuinely not even 18 and they have touched and moved my money so much that i've lost probably 100 dolalrs just in transaction limit fees they don't care and are extremely rude it's just ultimately sad for me bc this was my first experience at a bank so don't go here read more

Service is increasingly slow. None of the staff says hello, asks what you are there for, everyone looks miserable and unapproachable. CSR knows nothing about the banks products. This is not my usual branch, expect to wait at least an hour for any service when you come into this branch. I've opened accounts at other branches in 15 minutes and been in and out. Corprate** you need to work on employee retention so the staff knows about the products and hire more of them in this branch. read more

I loved this PNC until I was in debt & planned to pay off my debt & the manager told me that if I don't pay the debt that no other bank would take me (not true) & because of this reason I switched banks. Very impressionable in the sense. read more

Worst service ever. Charged me over 130 dollars for overdrafting 10 dollars. Never recieved a call or notification money was being removed. I hate this bank. read more

I went into the pnc and asked for quarter coin wrappers offering to pay for them but they gave them to me free. Once I started rolling my coins I realized that they were for dollar coins. I don't know who has enough dollar coins to wrap but they must of thought I did. So I wrapped my coins in that and went back to the pnc and was promptly told they couldn't take it like that even though that was what they gave me when I asked for quarter wrappers. So I got the correct wrappers and rewrapped all my quarters in the proper wrappers - all 280 dollars worth of coins. So I go back in to the pnc. Now I had just gotten over the flu and was still a little sick and sweaty. I asked to cash in my quarters and immediately there was a mini teller conference. Complete with whispers and quick looks up at me. I knew what was coming. The teller proceeded to tell me without an account I could only cash 25 dollars worth. How could I cash 25 dollars when the rolls are 10 dollar rolls. No offer of any kind of assistance to solve my problem now that I was already there and lugged all this weight in coins twice back and forth into pnc bank. I said fine and left. I went directly to TD BANK and asked to cash in my coins. Their response was a big smile and no questions asked YES. It was no problem even tho they did not know me and I was still a little sick and sweaty like at pnc. I got my cash no problem and took it and opened an account with them. The nicest and best customer service bank in Media Pa. Thanks again TD BANK for helping me out when PNC BANK just wanted to be judgmental and snobby. I will tell all my experience with PNC BANK THAT NEEDS A CUSTOMER SERVICE RESTRUCTURE. read more
