Today as I was leaving the Newtown Square branch of TD Bank, my car's electronic key fob disengaged from its metal key insert and fell into a sewer grate! I went back into the bank to ask if there was a maintenance person I could leave my contact info with for the next time the sewer was cleaned out, but instead I was told that there was a teller who could probably fish out my fob (a young man who had been working at the drive-through window)! I had to leave for an appointment, but I returned an hour later and was handed my key fob. EVERY employee present went above and beyond excellent customer service and courtesy. The young lady who had originally waited on me even looked up my phone number to call me to say they had retrieved the fob. Not only did the male teller get a broom handle and attach a hook to it, but the branch manager helped as well by then attaching a fork to it! I am really amazed and thankful how these people helped me with something that had nothing to do with their jobs. I really hope that Karma exists, because they will all have a lot of good things coming their way. read more
