Today as I was leaving the Newtown Square branch of TD Bank, my car's electronic key fob disengaged…read morefrom its metal key insert and fell into a sewer grate! I went back into the bank to ask if there was a maintenance person I could leave my contact info with for the next time the sewer was cleaned out, but instead I was told that there was a teller who could probably fish out my fob (a young man who had been working at the drive-through window)! I had to leave for an appointment, but I returned an hour later and was handed my key fob. EVERY employee present went above and beyond excellent customer service and courtesy. The young lady who had originally waited on me even looked up my phone number to call me to say they had retrieved the fob. Not only did the male teller get a broom handle and attach a hook to it, but the branch manager helped as well by then attaching a fork to it! I am really amazed and thankful how these people helped me with something that had nothing to do with their jobs. I really hope that Karma exists, because they will all have a lot of good things coming their way.

I have been with TD Bank since before when it was Commerce Bank. I love the slightly longer hours - please don't cut those evening and weekend hours. No complaints.

In early June 2021, my husband and I went to the Wells Fargo branch in West Chester Pike in Newtown…read moreSquare, PA for a signature authorization. The female manager who attended us was unable to meet our request for very good reasons. This was not the problem. The problem was her sarcastic and patronizing attitude. Instead of educating us on the process (we were missing needed documentation), she laughed at our request. Loudly and laughing said something like "everyone comes with such unrealistic requests", to which I responded that it was the first time for us ever to need such an authorization (concerning a death in the family of all things). We plan to move our mortgage to another bank.

Not a huge fan of this branch. I came in regarding a mortgage question, and had to wait for several…read moreminutes to talk with someone. Once I finally was able to talk to someone, they weren't able to answer my questions, and referred me to another Wells Fargo employee who wasn't currently there and was supposed to call me the next day. However, when the banker greeted me, he never introduced himself, didn't shake my hand, and barely made eye contact. Not sure if I was expecting too much, or if they should reconsider who they have sitting at the table talking to people about business involving their bank. Oh and the employee didn't call me for over 3 days from my initial visit, and if wasn't even during the time slot when I said I was available to talk.

This is no longer a good bank to do business with. Bryn Mawr used to be a local bank run by my old…read moreHaverford School teacher (and all America Lacrosse player) Ted Peters and for a long time was a great place to bank. It was friendly and had low fees and was very fine indeed. However, Ted has retired, the Bank was sold and went public as part of a larger offering in a holding company, too complex to recite here, now trading at around $43 on the NASDAQ, and to put it bluntly, all BMT cares about is their share price. So forget about older, experienced customer service reps--they've been let go. Your average person at BMT is a high school or community college grad with very limited understanding of business. Also, their MAC network is horrendously limited--they're not on most of the national mac networks--so it costs you $3 every time you draw down money out of state. And, you cant deposit by phone or do anything on line with them. They are kind of stuck in a no mans land/- too big to be a friendly small bank, but too small to be a fast, agile, nimble techie bank. As a result, they're really not much of a good bank at all anymore. The one star is for their flagship building in Bryn Mawr, a classic stately building. I'd very much like to see it bought and renovated to be a first class dining establishment.

Treslyn constantly interrupts but if I dare to ask that she stop interrupting, she accuses me of being rude and threatens to hang up. And since she'd rather talk than listen, it takes forever to explain my reason for calling in the first place and I wind up having to explain myself several times. Customer service is not Treslyn's strong suit - she would do better in a debt collection role where being rude is probably a plus.

Hello its me, Krystal again. I am writing a review for Police and Fire Federal Credit Union, the…read moreone located in Springfield, PA, 19064. This location has been here since either 2017 or 2018. It is very new. Anyway, this banking institution is located in the shopping center across from Fed Ex, Massage Envy and Olive Garden. Police and Fire Credit Union across the street on Baltimore Pike is surrounded and in good company with Giant Supermarket, Mandee's, Panera Bread, and an eye glass store. I have an account here and I have been a customer since 2014. I joined when I was a Security Professional with Allied Universal. Because this location is new, the inside is beautiful and spacious! I like this location a lot. I would like to give a shout out to Amanda, the lady who I guess you call them member service representatives. Amanda is always friendly and always greets you with a warm smile. I also would like to give a warm shout out to Stephen Iaquinta, Branch Representative. Steve helped me when I had a question about my auto loan with Wells Fargo and I wanted to switch my loan over to Police and Fire. Also Steve is just a nice all around gentleman. Lastly, but not least, I would like to give a shout out to Henry Sancken. Henry assisted me when I had a question about my online banking and is always a funny, always upbeat person! I also patronize the location on City Avenue, but I prefer this location, because there is always a traffic jam on City Avenue and in City Avenue Shopping Center. The only time you can avoid this is early in the morning, when Police and Fire open, which is 8:30 AM. Well thats all Folks!! SEE YA!!!
