There is a table in the tiny parking lot for eating at the restaurant, but really this is for takeout or delivery. They do have NY Style and regular cheese and pepperoni slices available by the slice on walk in plus some to go salads and cannoli in the small pick up area.

In my case going back to the 80s when it was still O'Hooley's and I'd meet my Dad there Friday afternoons after school when he and his colleagues would kick off the end of the work week. It still plays that role for many in this college town. But back to the private party. Chelsea was a pleasure to work with, entertaining all my questions about combinations from the catering menu, deciding on open bar with cocktails, without, just beer and wine, ticket system etc. All are options depending on your crowd and your budget. We went full open bar and mercifully our friends took it easy on us in the 6-8pm timeslot we reserved the whole place for. We went with a combo of meats, cheeses, fruit, veggies that you can get at a per person rate minimum 20. We then also go some of each of the five pizza options. We had leftovers but not a bad thing. For dessert, we had the option to bring in our own cake, but instead tried their chocolate and snickerdoodle parfaits that went down very well. It isn't something you do every month or every year. But it really worked for us for a big birthday and we've attended a number of great work networking receptions there as well. One friend ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and got a fruity vinaigrette instead. Another friend ordered a burger and they forgot the bacon. A third friend asked for his burger well-done, but it came out medium, also with no bacon. When he asked the server if it looked well-done, she said she didn't know what well-done looks like. He asked if she could get a new one so he wouldn't get sick, and she said she'd check with the kitchen. No apology. It took 25 minutes for the new burger to come out, and by then we had been there for over an hour and a half. When she finally brought it out, she asked if he wanted a box to take it home. Still no bacon on the burger. Also, no apology again. Overall, not a great experience. Will not be back.

Moved here and a neighbor handed me a few menus for her favorite places to eat. This was one of them. Have them a try. Hands Down THE BEST PIZZA EVER!!! Well worth the price. Every time a box of Heaven is delivered I immediately smell the aroma that keeps me coming back for more. Wings are cooked well and taste fresh. The rewards program allowed me to try their breadsticks which were pretty good for what I expected. Only downside is the salad I tried once was not the stellar salad I expected considering everything else but none the less it was good. Suggestion for a first time order: Cowboy pizza w/ xtra BBQ and add bacon and mushroom. Then add pesto and garlic drizzle. You will not regret it and will wish the box refilled itself the next day. Plus 1 is great. I order it multiple times a month. They do not make you wait forever like Avalanche, and they have tons of toppings to choose from, including just 3 different kinds of pepperoni alone. They have a rewards points system where you get free food after ordering a certain amount, and their customer service is great and even if they only run a few minutes late you get a $2 off coupon. My new favorite pizza place in Athens. I liked Avalanche's food but after they just didn't deliver my food one night and then didn't respond to my email demanding a refund (had to dispute with my CC company) I refused to eat there ever again. Glad I picked Plus 1! They are great AND very affordable. read more

I have lived in Athens for over 6 years and Plus One is by far the best gluten-free pizza in town! Their selection of toppings is vast and delicious. Their delivery people are friendly and timely.
