An appointment was set for Tuesday which also happen to be Valentine's Day. I waited two hours before I called the warranty company who informed me they were no longer taking my work order even though I confirmed 2 days prior. Although I called them several times that day and texted them, they never contacted me back. Not even a courtesy call or text saying they weren't coming out. Shame on them. Such poor customer service. Seems to be a pattern of the company from these reviews. Take your chances with this company- maybe they will show or maybe they will blow you off. I have yet to hear back from them.

Another plumber ran a camera through the line and found that they had never properly connected the new line to the sewer - leaving a section of very old pipe that roots had gotten into. I reached out multiple times via email to see if they'd honor the warranty and no one ever responded. I tried their listed phone number as well, but it was disconnected. At this point it may be a small claims issue. If I were you, I'd avoid Icon at all costs.

I originally called…read morethem out back in 2024, thought they did a good job until the issue came back a few weeks later. Thought we could just bypass it and do a semi-fix in the meantime. We were brand new, first time parents and didn't have time to worry about it. Fast forward, I called last Friday (06/12/2026) thinking, they fixed it once, maybe they can try to fix it again. They scheduled to come out Monday (06/15/2026) - thinking they were going to look at the issue and quote me. 45-minutes later, the job was done, I was told what was the issue and thought "maybe since they originally were the ones to fix it, they are doing me a favor" considering I was never quoted or told what was the issue until AFTER the job was done. Little to my knowledge, I was then told the job cost me $375 on the spot. A cartridge replacement for my shower nozzle ($20 on Amazon x 2 - I have two shower heads in my master bathroom) + $335 for "labor fees". HAHA MAN! They sure loved to see me coming. Never again will I use their services, but also ensure that I just want a quote before any job is done. Would not recommend or if you do, always get your quote first.

I don't submit very many reviews on Yelp at all...just don't have a lot of time. But today I had…read moreto, because Mike from Affordable Rooter Service was just awesome! Today is Saturday, January 2nd and most people are out enjoying their New Year's weekend. Unfortunately, all of our plumbing was backing up into our downstairs bathtub. Not a pretty site at all. So I found Mike on Yelp, because he only specializes in drain repair. There were other plumbers, but for some reason, Mike stood out. I called him about 10am, he said he had to finish something up and he would head over. He was here in about 20 minutes. Our house was "flipped" before we bought it, and apparently the landscapers covered and buried the sewer clean-out, so we needed to find it before he could fix the clog. He walked the neighborhood to see where it was located on similar houses. He gave me a general idea of where it would be located, so I started digging to try and find it. Mike took off, but told me to give him a call if/when I found the clean-out. After about 10 minutes he pulled back up and said he stopped at a few other houses on the way out of the neighborhood and narrowed down the location of the clean-out. Then he took off again After I found it, I called and told him, and he was back in 30 minutes. He pulled out his heavy duty auger, and in about 15 minutes the job was done. I think we spent about an hour just shooting the breeze - ask Mike about his secret weight loss technique!! This plumbing problem had my wife and me super stressed...especially on a holiday weekend. Mike fixed it, and totally made my weekend. I hope he enjoys the rest of his. If you have a sewer backup or drain issue, call Mike. Seriously. You won't be disappointed. Thanks Mike!!
