After reading reviews, I knew my decision wasn't really about the price--I was planning to hire Top Tech anyway. What disappointed me was that the estimate appointment had to be canceled that day, and I was even more frustrated by the interaction with the lady on the phone. As a business owner myself, I believe in taking care of customers and honoring commitments. If I have to do the job myself, I do it--I don't cancel on clients who are depending on me. The phone conversation felt rushed, and it seemed like she was trying to get me off the phone as quickly as possible, which I found annoying. However, Zach came out later that same day for the estimate, and he completely changed my impression. He was professional, honest, hardworking, and got straight to the point. It was 92 degrees outside, and I genuinely felt for the guy working in that heat. He provided a fair estimate, scheduled the work for the next day at 1 PM, and then actually arrived two hours early. The quality of the work was outstanding--top-notch service. My brother is an electrical engineer, so I have a decent understanding of electrical work, but he lives far away. I still have a lot more projects to complete around my house, and I will definitely be calling Top Tech again. When I do, I'll be requesting Zach specifically. Highly recommended.

This unit has an automatic shutoff if water is detected in drain pan. When we have very strong thunderstorms, the paper cover on the sensor will become wet and shut off the water. I called to ask about this problem and they sent 2 plumbers who spent 15 minutes in the attic, told me there was no roof leak and charged me $86. This is after spending a lot of money with them over the years. These folks have gotten too expensive and so I will looking for a new plumber.

The quality of work Medley does is what causes me to call on them time and again. They've changed my duct work and my HVAC unit. As far the Trane variable speed unit I purchased--especially at the high price I paid--does not seem to be doing as well as I expected. I know that HVAC guys will say that as long as it has a 20 degree differential from the outside temperature, it's doing its job. Well, frankly, my 30-year-old train cooled much better even though it wasn't running at the full 5-ton. While I love doing business with Medley, I'm not a fan of this new Trane unit.
