Thompson is amazing, extraordinarily…read moreknowledgeable where a previous plumber failed, with great prices, and identified and fixed additional issues such as my low water pressure "no charge". First, neither I nor the first plumber could locate where the main access line was. Thompson used his knowledge of where it exits from the crawlspace and the angle it has to make to the city line to know exactly where to dig, then dug, and found it. He cleaned it out, and observed that the pipes under the house were sagging (he showed me and they clearly were), resulting in sewage needing to go uphill, which it why the whole house backed up in the first place (and would happen again with time). He spent hours under the crawlspace fixing the slope and installing stronger metal straps to keep it in place (it had been supported by cheap plastic), with a 10-year warranty on his work! Then, he checked the house, and observed that the water pressure was low, and fixed that "no charge" as a bonus, identified that my sink faucet had calcification resulting in low pressure on that in particular ("no charge"), increased my water temperature "no charge", and sawed and put pipes on the formerly-buried sewage access lines so they could be found again once I put the dirt back "no charge". Suffice to say Thompson is amazing, probably the best plumber in Prescott, in terms of all four of knowledge, prices, skill, and kindness. This is the guy you want to call.

Out of three other plumbing companies, Jesse from Burgie's was the only one that actually took the BTU rating from each of my gas appliances and calculated the total gas demand to determine whether or not my home had sufficient supply to accomidate another gas appliance. Jesse performed the installation, pressure tested the complete gas circuit which passed inspection the first time. When the fireplace insert was being installed, Jesse was onsite if any gas line adjustmets were needed. Absolutly outstanding customer service. Burgie's Plumbing are true professionals. Travis and Jessie came out to do this project which took all day to complete. These two were well versed on local plumbing codes, very familiar with the products installed and liked to follow "old school" procedures. I found them to be amongst the very few plumbers who still know how to sweat solder copper piping and finish the joints properly. They weren't the cheapest plumber in town, but the quality, craftsmanship and honesty was unsurpassed! We were lucky enough to have Burgie's do the project for us.
