I haven't had such bad experiences with the creepy guy, but I totally knew who the other reviewers were referring to. I did get creep vibe from him whenever I come in, so I have always avoided him. I know that having things behind glass and the counter is par for the course in an old school Brooklyn store, but it does put me off since I never feel comfortable asking for anything. The store is packed with stuff, which means they probably have at least something you need, but it is extremely hard to navigate. I have gotten a bunch of keys made, but I have been trying to get my mail key copied for months. Every time I come, I am told they don't have that key template and will have it in next week. I've gone in many "next weeks" and they always tell me the same thing. It's really annoying. The prices are jacked up, but sometimes I am in a jam and can't go all the way to Home Depot in BedStuy.
