For example, they sell Turkish towels, candles, bedding, and other fun things. In the back of the store, they have a generous clearance section if you are looking for a gift on a budget but, prices were reasonable.

Our Brooklyn Heights townhome suffered severe water damage due to a roof incident requiring a…read morecomplete overhaul of our kitchen. Shai came to the rescue, guiding us from start to finish with the end result exceeding our high expectations. He takes so much pride in his work and expertly urged us to make decisions that have resulted in a timeless, beautiful kitchen that has added substantial value to our home. There are so many good things to say about Decori Kitchens, but let me try to name a few: 1) To start, Shai showed endless patience in reworking our kitchen design numerous times to incorporate feedback and ensure I was getting what I wanted. 2) As the project moved forward, he also went way above and beyond to make sure I had all the extra details covered, even though I didn't know I needed them ... beautiful cabinet insides, top-of-the-line pulls, custom coffee containers, LED counter lighting, quarter sewn wood panels, chrome outlet covers, and on and on. It is clear that Shai takes great pride in his work and wants clients to have the best (within budget). Honestly, no detail was too small for him to consider. 3) Shai was very organized, sending calendar invites for key dates, presenting his proposals beautifully, measuring and remeasuring and going the extra mile with updates such as videos to show me the cabinet making in process, etc. 4) Designing and installing a brand new kitchen from scratch requires so much coordination with numerous parties. I never felt alone in the process, since Shai was always responsive in checking on dates, keeping me updated, picking up my calls, advocating on my behalf when we encountered delays with appliances, fabrication, etc. I'll end this review by saying I was not the easiest client, which is probably an understatement. I was engaged in a massive renovation that I hadn't expected or wanted, and doubted many decisions. I am writing this review with the renovation in the rear view mirror and a much greater knowledge base that has helped me understand the quality and craftmanship and incredible eye for design that went into our kitchen. Through sheer perseverance and endless patience and talent, Shai now has a devoted client who wishes she could give him more than 5 stars!

I actually first…read morereferenced Angie's List looking for a cabinet specialist, but decided to trust these overwhelming positive 5-star reviews instead. I'm so glad I did because not only did Jason offer expertise to us two kitchen-renovation newbies, he also offered patience and care at every step of the way. Any time we encountered a difficult mess-up due to another supplier, which are almost unavoidable in these projects, Jason was readily available to help and problem-solve. Honest, effective, clear communication with deep expertise and a true heart for customer service! I've recommended Jason's services to friends already, and I've even tried to convince friends NOT looking to re-do their kitchen to re-do them through Jason. Don't wait!

The new cabinets & granite countertop are beautiful and I am just so relieved and happy I initiated this project, that Jason was a part of it and it's done exactly how I imagined. He really worked with us and was so nice and responsive and super kind when I asked questions about ideas that wouldn't work well. He gave my fairly small project as much attention I imagine as the much larger ones they do and I really hope he's available when I have a much larger project I'm thinking about. Thanks Jason, you were terrific

We had a wonderful experience with Tara at Park Slope Kitchens, despite the fact that we began our…read moreproject at the onset of the pandemic. We were impressed with the wide selection of cabinet styles and countertop materials at different price points, and Tara worked with our budget to create the most stylish and efficient design for our Bed-Stuy brownstone. Her recommendations for appliances (and where to get them) were spot-on, and she helped us source a range hood and microwave that would work within the tricky size constraints and layout of our space. Tara was super accommodating with multiple design changes, and her patience and experience were invaluable, not just with layout and materials but also with the mechanical elements of the demo and build, like plumbing, ventilation and electrical. She was there every step of the way, despite Covid and supply chain glitches, and we ended up finishing ahead of schedule and under budget. Best of all, we're thrilled with the results! We shopped around quite a bit for designers/suppliers, and we're so happy we chose Tara and PSK. Rehabbing a kitchen is more than just an aesthetic re-fit, it's an engineering project as well, and having a savvy designer with an eye for both design and mechanical systems is essential. Tara definitely helped us avoid some rookie mistakes while offering a vision that fit perfectly with our own. Highly recommended!

I had great hopes for this place after the recommendation from my contractor. We hired PSKG to…read moredesign and fabricate our kitchen cabinets. Understandably, the pandemic happened and things were delayed. Although this part is incredibly frustrating, that is not the sole reason for my absolute displeasure with the project and working with their employee Tara. The inexcusable poor communication from Tara has been uncalled for. We are at the point where we still do not have all of our cabinets, and Tara refuses to answer any emails, work with credits we deserve and has pushed me off to THE SALES REP for the cabinets. She won't even finish the project. Although, when my contractor asked her where things were, Tara responded to HIS email. Not me. Not the person who paid her. I have gone so far as to contact co-workers and leave messages in the hopes that someone will talk to me from the place I paid $20,000 to for cabinets. Nope. Nothing. Ghosted. Absolutely unprofessional and loathsome conduct on their part. Apparently once they get cash in hand, they pawn you off on their sales rep for you to have to fight to get your cabinets. This is lazy and reprehensible on their part to not finish my project and take the cash and walk away. When the cabinets were scheduled to arrive, I was told that there were three doors on backorder, but it would not hold up the installation. That was incorrect. There were three doors and the ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY cabinet that has to be installed first that was on backorder. So we had our home littered with cabinets, but they couldn't be installed because the corner top cabinet was not delivered. So, again, wrong information. Fast forward and incorrect sizes are shipped, completely incorrect doors are shipped, no hardware is shipped, and the list goes on and on. One cabinet was created too small (didn't take into account the appliance handle) and now is broken. So glad I spent thousands of dollars to have a broken cabinet within the first week. If you do not email on a regular basis for information, it seems laziness takes over and the lines of communication just dissolve. Just this past week I was told the cabinets have gone out overnight shipping and I will get an email the next day with the tracking information. Nope, no email. I email AGAIN to get tracking info. 48 hours later Tara is finally willing to respond with tracking information which has been available for two days. But, again, she would not pass it on until I repeatedly emailed. Completely unprofessional behavior. So now I am still waiting for one more cabinet door and my custom-made cutting board. I cannot get anyone from PSKG to email me or call me back. I have some random sales rep at a factory that is my only hope to ever getting this project finished. So please be concerned. I thought since I wasn't going with the cheapest place and I had the recommendation of my trusted contractor, I would be okay. Nope. Not the case. It has been a month and half since the initial DELIVERY of cabinets - not the design. THE DELIVERY and I still have not gotten all of the pieces to finish my kitchen. I cannot say enough how disappointed and frustrating it has been to work with the company.

I bought some lotion from them, and a while later (a month or so), my wife noticed black mold growing on the top. Pretty horrifying, because I hadn't noticed, and I'd been putting it on my face! Yuck. I brought it back, to tell them about it, not to ask for my money back, which I made clear. I just thought they would want to know. The salesperson called the manager to come over, who was excessively argumentative about it. "Let me explain something to you about our products," he said. "Our products do NOT grow mold." It was a little like the old, "who are you going to believe?" joke, since mold was growing right on top of the lotion, and we could both see it. And he just wouldn't stop. I kept telling him, I don't want to discuss this, I just thought they would want to know, I was just trying to be a good samaritan for one of my favorite stores. And he kept arguing. "Mold is caused primarily by moisture," he said at one point, as though he thought I was very stupid. Finally I said, "I'm going to ask you to stop talking." And he wouldn't! So I had to say it again. This all bothers me for two reasons. First, I thought the guy was defensive and insulting. Why disbelieve me? Did he think I brought some kind of fake moldy lotion to his store because ... why? He should have just thanked me for letting him know. Second, I thought they SHOULD care that their lotion grows mold! So the manager doesn't care about quality control, and he has an attitude problem. I don't feel that I can trust their products anymore, and unfortunately I cannot go back. It's too bad, because I used to love this store.

Although when you enter it might look a bit cluttered up and over crowded, don't get just turned off and walk out, they actually have a very decent verity of all types of home hardware, say like pots & pans, cutlery, organizing containers, towel hooks and even alarm clocks.... (People still buy them?! It's like buying a flash light when you have one on your phone...) Customer service is also very friendly and nice and always more then willing to help you find whatever you're looking for and give you the perfect recommendation of the product which will meet your needs. Price is also okay although not the cheapest, but hey, when you have a big nice place with great customer service you can't expect them to charge you a bodega price for a pot. Speaking of Pot's I was once on the road out in the wild and needed urgently a pot for some cooking, so I stopped into a small bodega (don't ask me what I was thinking and I ask the cashier if he by any chance has a pot so he says "umm Pot"? sure, go right to the back of the store, It took me a minute to realize that he was talking about "POT" and I quickly made a U turn and ran outta there laughing my head off....... One more thing that they offer is a Mikvah* on the spot that you need for some dishes when you buy them. In overall this please is great and therefore my go to place whenever I need nay home supplies. ---------------------------------------------------- *Mikvah, for those of you that are not familiar with it, it is a religious ritual that you need to submerge any dish that you intend of using multiple times into a tub of water that contains a certain amount of pure rain water, and after submerging it into the Mikvah you're able to use the dish for as many times as you wish. (Disposable stuff don't require a Mikvah)
