Crab stuffed pretzel with beer cheese sauce, and 3 sliders with house made chips. Divine!
    Emily B.

This was a fantastic find, and our favorite spot from our whole vacation. The vibe here is laid back, good food + brewery with a huge, creative beer selection. We each tried several sliders, which were all incredible, particularly the shredded chicken with beer cheese. The crab stuffed pretzel was huge, and not stuffed with filler. And the brewery had an excellent beer selection. We were staying on Hatteras, and the hour long ferry ride was well worth it. They opened the bay doors and let the night air in, and delicious food, great beer, and a laid back atmosphere made for and it was an amazing, relaxing evening. We're from Richmond, and are used to delicious food and great beer. This spot would fit right in to that scene. A rare find. We'll be back.

So this joint is collocated with 1718 Brewery. You walk in, head to the left and place your order at the counter. Friendly staff will give you a buzz plate that will go off when your food is ready for you to pick up. Inside or patio seating. The crab-stuffed pretzel is huge and suitable for sharing. Ours was not quite hot enough for our liking. The fried cheese curds are perfect! We chose to sit at the bar and got brewery creations that were fantastic! Overall, a cool brew house with a bar-food attachment. It just sort of "works." Definitely recommended and we visited it twice during our week on the island.

Delicious food. Caring attentive servers. Insanely delicious food. And the 1718 Brewery makes the whole experience delightful. Highly recommended! We love sitting outside on the upstairs porc

This place is awesome. Great homemade tasting island bar food!!! We had the stuffed crab pretzel (amazing) and the Philly cheesesteak (great). I would definitely grab a bite here with a brew from 1718. The crab pretzel is good for 2-4 people depending on how hungry you are and was amazing by any standard. The cheesesteak used their beer cheese and cake with these awesome russet potato chips. Our friends got the chicken tenders and red drum fish. Outdoor seating was plenty spaced apart and plenty of hand sanitizer stations were spread around. Everything looked and tasted like you might make it at home, but here I am drinking a real solid beer on an island. Would definitely come again if I was on Ocracoke and wanted good hangs.

Went to try beer at 1718 brewery housed in same building as Plum Pointe. Got the crab stuffed pretzel, husband got the burger topped with pulled pork, bacon and onions, with side of fresh made potato chips. Excellent taste of everything!

It was so good I ate it all (except for the chips) before I could get a picture. Not that the chips weren't good too. They were very good, but it was a lot of food so I couldn't quite eat all of it. We shared the Drunken Chicken Nachos. My husband got a Philly Cheese Steak and said it was great. It was good quality meat and it wasn't soggy. I got three sliders: beef slider with blue cheese and caramelized onions on brioche bun, Hawaiian slider with cheddar cheese and pineapple red pepper chutney on brioche bun, and Chicken slider beer-braised chicken with 1718 beer with house made beer cheese and fried chicken skins on pretzel roll. Everything was fantastic!

Our food! Fish taco and chicken Philly

First time to eat here. By golf cart we got there at 11am, being they were not open yet we killed sometime riding around on the golf cart .. got back about quarter after 12 and the place was packed. Waited in the food line maybe 15 minutes and then another 15 plus minutes to get our food. I know things are slower because everyone's short handed. The staff was great under circumstances out of their control! We have been on the island before But never ate at this particular restaurant would we recommend it " yes " I would! they're very popular so plan your day accordingly

Crab stuffed jumbo pretzel was amazing! Also left a review for 1718 Brewing - check out why it's 4 stars there.

Craving Pizza on the Island? Sorella's is a Must-Try!…read more While visiting the island, I found myself in the mood for some good pizza, so I decided to check out Sorella's for dinner--and I'm so glad I did! With its reputation for hearty, flavor-packed dishes, it was the perfect spot to satisfy my cravings. What We Ordered: * BBQ Pizza * Big Daddy Pizza * Stromboli BBQ PIZZA This pizza was a savory-sweet masterpiece! The olive oil base paired beautifully with the barbecue chicken, caramelized onions, and smoky bacon. The addition of jalapeños brought the perfect kick, while the cheddar and mozzarella created a rich, melty layer of cheesy goodness. Topped with a barbecue swirl, every bite was packed with bold flavors that balanced sweetness and spice perfectly. It was a creative twist on classic pizza flavors, and it didn't disappoint. BIG DADDY PIZZA If you're a fan of the classics, this one's for you. The Big Daddy Pizza was piled high with red sauce, beef, sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, red onions, mushrooms, and mozzarella cheese. Each ingredient brought something special to the table: the meats were perfectly seasoned, the vegetables added a satisfying crunch, and the mozzarella held it all together with a gooey, cheesy blanket. This pizza is a hearty, crowd-pleasing option for anyone who loves a fully loaded slice. STROMBOLI This was the showstopper for me! Stuffed with red sauce, pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, red onions, mushrooms, and mozzarella, the Stromboli was simply heavenly. The crust was golden and perfectly baked, with just the right balance of crispness and chewiness. The filling was indulgent, packed with meat and cheese, making it a dream for any meat lover. Every bite felt comforting and decadent--a must-try if you visit Sorella's. We opted for takeout and enjoyed our meal during a cozy movie night at our rental. The pizzas and Stromboli held up beautifully, still warm and fresh when we dug in. Sorella's proved to be the perfect blend of convenience and quality for a relaxed evening in. Sorella's nailed it on every level--flavor, portion sizes, and variety. Whether you're in the mood for a creative take on pizza like the BBQ Pizza, a classic loaded option like the Big Daddy, or the indulgent Stromboli, you're bound to find something to love here. If you're ever on the island and craving pizza, Sorella's is the place to go. I'll definitely be back for more!

I woke up...and had a delicious time! The reviews here tell you how great this place is, and well...believe them! I thought for sure it would be over-hyped and not live up to what people write and say, but I will admit to being wrong. First, our server, Krickett, was agreed upon (by my partner and I) to be the best server we have ever had. She was friendly, outgoing, had good recommendations, and an all-around joy. Second, the food! Wow! My partner had a salad...simple enough, right? But no, she was amazed by it. And she is a vegetarian, so she has had a lot of salads over the years. This one blew her away. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. Was it life-changing? No. But it was way better than what a grilled chicken sandwich normally is. It was tender, juicy, with just the right seasoning. I would be a criminal if I didn't mention the bruschetta...get it with the burrata...it is worth it! The crispy bread with balsamic drizzle is good enough with the diced tomato mix, but the cheese gives it a new level. And, I hope you saved room for dessert, because the key lime pie was a mouth explosion.

The restaurant has two distinct dining areas: the front section is first-come first-served bar seating that offers the full menu. The back section, which would be ideal for families, holds about 30 tables, mostly booths, with the hostess stand. We chose to sit at the bar and had a great experience. We started with bruschetta topped with burrata cheese. I ordered the angel hair pasta in a white garlic butter, cream sauce with marinated chicken and grilled vegetables. My husband ordered the special hamburger with Swiss cheese bacon, spinach and mayo with a side of fries. We ended with slices of the key lime pie that didn't disappoint! The food, service, staff and environment were exceptional! We overheard the Server mention that veterans receive complementary meals on Veterans Day, which speaks volumes about how this restaurant supports those who have served. If you are in the Outer Banks- whether you're staying in Kill Devil Hills or nearby- this restaurant is worth the drive and all the hype!

Reading some of the other reviews people commented about the amount of time they had to wait to pick up their order after calling it in. We didn't have an issue, walked right in got our order within thirty minutes. The place was busy, lots of customers at 3:30 on a Saturday. The island chicken pizza was amazing! It was the perfect balance of flavors and ingredients ... amount of cheese and chicken were good (that's hard to mess up) the perfect amount of bbq sauce that was not overpowering, the thinly sliced red onion added a slight sharpness, the pineapple bits added sweetness without being super juicy and making it a sloppy mess. As my family and I enjoyed, we realized we should have ordered two island chicken pizzas! It's a shame we discovered this spot the day before we are leaving for home because we definitely would have ordered island chicken pizza more than once. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza, basket of fries and beer battered onion rings. All delicious and what you would expect from a pizza place. Glad we checked out this spot!
