After the first two visits, where I had my teeth pulled. I went for a third visit expecting it to be a routine cleaning, but got cavities filled. That was fine because I had two that needed to be filled anyway. Until he tried to fill a tooth that I know does not have a cavity. I pulled away slightly at that point to ask what was happening. He said I was being hyper, which was dismissive and a bit rude. I was glad I pulled away because he stopped afterwards. The other thing I find disturbing is that he still wouldn't do a routine cleaning. I hate saying this about healthcare professionals, but I think he wanted to do the procedures with higher reimbursement. It just didn't make sense after three visits in 6 weeks that I still didn't have a cleaning done. I was going to make an appointment to do just that, until I read some reviews. I didn't want to risk my only cleaning in like 6-12 months (whatever my insurance covers) being a half-done job. Instead, I changed dentists and requested that his practice send over the x-rays to my new dentist. They requested $50 for my medical records. I thought that was absurd. In the past, I've paid doctors to fill out forms but never more than $25 and never for my medical records. I do not recommend his practice.

But I am not a dentist and did not know that i should of scheduled a deep cleaning before I even knew that I needed one. The dentist seemed kind of sarcastic and did a crappy cleaning on my teeth. He didn't even floss my teeth at all. Seems like he may have not liked my kind of Dental Insurance so therefore did a cheap quick job on my cleaning. I was not in the chair for more than 15 minutes. Horrible service. He didn't even say a word to me after the cleaning. He just walked out.

My appointment was 1:15pm and we didn't get seen till 2:45pm. I had to wait over an hour with my 6 year old. The lady on the phone who I had to speak to, to verify insurance (while there for my appointment) tried to tell me someone called me to tell me there was an issue with insurance (and it not coming up) and no one ever did. Someone only called to reschedule my appointment. They need to get their act together and ensure all insurance info is taken care of and cleared before the appointment date and time. They have a Union City office and Elizabeth office and the two offices seem to lose info and follow up between the back and forth. They only see kids at the Elizabeth office. Expect to wait a while to be seen despite the appointment time. I had a dentist appointment in Hoboken 2 weeks prior, with the exact same insurance, and had zero issue with insurance and was in and out with zero issue.

She started to put this huge gadget in my mout that was hurting my gums as she forced me to hold it in my mouth. I told her to stop and would not let her continue. Dr. then came in the room, put the xrays up on the screen and started naming teeth and saying alot of information very fast. Then he turned to me and said you have alot of cavities and you need gum surgery and 2 root canals. I then got up and would not let him touch anything. Sad that they are allowed to practice and trick people into thinking they hsve so many issues to make money off of you and yoir insurance. Do not go to this guy!

He told me I needed to remove 4 wisdom teeth as well as that I needed to get braces back on and a splint for my TMJ. He ridiculed me in front of his staff members over the fact that I had gotten my braces done somewhere else. I do not have insurance and he expects everyone to pay his insane $10k pricing and up. He comes up with fake problems so that he and his oral surgeon friend who are in cahoots can snag as much money away from you. I also asked the receptionist for my x-rays in hopes of going somewhere else for a second opinion. She ran her mouth for another 45 minutes. I had to go up to her to remind her about them to which she replied "Oh I didn't know you still wanted those." What else would I still be waiting in the waiting room for after I've paid?
