I truly enjoyed the cleanliness & the beautiful atmosphere of this location. I was greeted with a smile by Emmanuelle which was a pleasure while checking me in. She made sure that all insurance information was accurate & up to date. The hygienist Luz Moreno was amazing & had wonderful energy. She did a fantastic job with my cleaning & was very informative about oral health. Please note that she was very gentle during the cleaning which made the experience that much better. Julian, which was the assistant also kept me entertained while the hygienist got ready for the cleaning. His mannerisms were out of this world and he scheduled my follow up appointment right then and there. The dentist that saw me today was Nida Mahmood. She was super detailed in what she did & was able to share several techniques to prevent tooth decay & protect my oral health. Dr. Morgan, Dr. Han, & Ana in the orthodontics department were very sweet & professional. Ashly took my final payment & dismissed me with an amazing smile & wonderful energy. Initially, I had plans to straighten my teeth with Invisalign however, after several consultations with many orthodontists (including Dr. Loewinger), it was determined that I would not be a good candidate. Of the many consultations, Dr. Loewinger was the only orthodontist who explained why and provided a detailed overview of the process I would go through with traditional braces. Obviously I was not excited to have a mouth full of metal at 24 years old, but he convinced me that it would be fine. He reviewed the different types of braces available, the rubber band process, and more. By the end of the discussion, we determined that ceramics would be the best option; although it was a bit pricer, it's not noticeable in pictures. The first couple of months my teeth were sore, as expected. During each adjustment Dr. Loewinger and his assistants are very careful and precise--no bruises on my gums from loose wires or rough handling. I visit his office every month and follow through with all instructions given by Dr. Loewinger and the members of his staff. Wearing rubber bands at work and on dates was not an easy task, but I did what I was told and the current state of my teeth are proof that he knows what he's doing. I can only speak to my experience, and it's been wonderful! I look forward to visiting the office for the next 10 months or so and hope you check him out. My son got his braces on 2 years ago (at age 11) & his bite was pretty severe. He just got his braces off recently & his teeth/bite are beautiful! The costs for braces are expensive so you may shop around, but definitely head back here when you're ready to move forward. Their prices are competitive (if your child has health insurance even if it doesn't cover orthodontics be sure to tell them at the initial consult & they will give you the discounted insurance rate). After you make the down payment they do automatic monthly payments over two years that are really reasonable. Making appointments is easy, they have 3 offices in NJ, & use a texting app to reconfirm the day before. Offices are new & lovely, with state of the art equipment including computerized imaging. Staff are very friendly, the entire environment is child-centered with Disney movies playing in the waiting room & all exam rooms to keep the kids busy. Dr. Mike has a great manner, very professional & knowledgeable with the parents, & kind/friendly with the kids - so it's a win/win.
