This is THE dental establishment to attend if you need any oral work. First and foremost the establishment was promptly opened and extremely CLEAN & ORGANIZED. I truly enjoyed the cleanliness & the beautiful atmosphere of this location. I was greeted with a smile by Emmanuelle which was a pleasure while checking me in. She made sure that all insurance information was accurate & up to date. The hygienist Luz Moreno was amazing & had wonderful energy. She did a fantastic job with my cleaning & was very informative about oral health. Please note that she was very gentle during the cleaning which made the experience that much better. Julian, which was the assistant also kept me entertained while the hygienist got ready for the cleaning. His mannerisms were out of this world and he scheduled my follow up appointment right then and there. The dentist that saw me today was Nida Mahmood. She was super detailed in what she did & was able to share several techniques to prevent tooth decay & protect my oral health. Dr. Morgan, Dr. Han, & Ana in the orthodontics department were very sweet & professional. Ashly took my final payment & dismissed me with an amazing smile & wonderful energy. Definitely a fabulous experience! You must give them a try. read more

I've been waiting 40 minutes - lots of people called ahead of me. They're still trying to figure out my insurance even though the appointment was scheduled over a week ago and I have the names of their dentists as in network on my insurance website. Maybe this practice is too big to be run efficiently? read more

Abra Dental - Elizabeth - The dam tooth is still not in and paid over 5,000 to this dam place hate it and them - General Dentistry Near Me - Elizabeth, New Jersey

Disgusting at customer service. Kimberly is extremely disrespectful and ignorant of her role as well as the clientele the new store services. She is indirectly steering clients away while freeloading on this check. read more

Had an appointment for a cleaning. Waited an hour for them to bring me in and have me wait some more. The process takes entirely too long. Terrible experience! read more

I have gone to get a root canal at the oral surgery floor at the place and my experience was great, I thought that it'd be terrible and painful but my dentist Evelyn made sure that I was okay and she meant well about my surgery. Much props to this dental clinic. read more

This place is insane with the waiting on Saturdays!!!! My appointment was at 8:40am for a cleaning and still sitting back here waiting for me to be called to finally get my cleaning done. I'm done with this place, they need to NOT book so many patients or get a bigger place to hire more staff so things can go smoothly!! read more

Had a appointment for the oral surgeon at 11:00am. I arrived at 10:45am. At 12:30 pm still waiting for a consultation. They have no regards for your time. Still waiting for a 10 min consultation. Get it together. read more

Each time I walk into the office for my appointment I literally cross my fingers to see Isabella Lacona at the front to check me in or in the back during my appointment. She is always in a good mood, eyes bright and greeting with a warm smile! Isabella seems to always be ready to help in anyway she can, she truly makes my experience so much more better for the Dentist visit. I remember when I had to get my wisdom teeth removed, she would come in when she could to check in on me to see if i needed anything despite me being a bit drowsy from the medicine, even before the extraction, she answered every question I had prior to the surgery and made me feel at ease. I could not recommend her enough, she truly deserves to be recognized! read more

I started my orthodontist journey a little over five months. I recently moved to a different city and found that the Jersey City location was closer and more convenient for me as the office hours at the Elizabeth office conflicted with my work schedule. Unfortunately, I was not only unable to shift my services to the Jersey City location, but there was no accommodation in scheduling as the orthodontist doesn't work on Saturdays. This should have been stated in their website, but now, I'm stuck with no other alternative but to constantly call out of work for simple repairs. I cannot fathom as to why transitioning office is an issue if they offer the same services and should have access to my dental record in their system. read more

I've been coming to childsmiles in Elizabeth since they established themselves here. Lately it seems that they don't know how to communicate efficiently, as I had an appointment for my son at 1 time and received a text message for another. Then a couple hours later I received another text message stating his appointment was cancelled. I called and all I get is a voice mail that's full. How can anyone work like this. I work a 12 hour overnight shift so it's vital for me to schedule appointments to plan accordingly, but I'll digress from this tangent and keep it simple... Childsmiles-Familysmiles "DO BETTER!" This is unacceptable by all standards read more

I went for the first time a week ago for my boys (12,8 & 6). The first staff was nice and the girl who did their xray was super nice and patient with my youngest child. He has sensitivity issues and she was just so clam and letting him know everything she was doing as she did it to gain his trust. Since he would have lost it! The problem came in when they split up my boys. My middle child was getting a his cleaning done without me there. My oldest was about three chairs away and got his done without me even seeing what was done to him. When it was my youngest turn i notices how nasty this lady was. It seemed like a huge bother my questions about my first two boys that weren't even with me when they were seen. Theres no "connection" time with the patients themselves..its just a in and out approach which sucks since they are kids! The only good part is they see adults and even do orthodontist work there. Hopefully, it was mainly because it was the end of the day. But if thats the case then maybe they should schedule so many appointments towards the end of the day ‍ read more

I had to go Childsmiles because my dentist doesn't accept my insurance anymore (now they do thank god I don't have to go back to Childsmile) and I regret that decision I've been back-and-forth to this office because I have two crowns in front of my mouth that's been falling out and they have been using my insurance to put them it back in but their not staying in now they're saying that there's nothing they can do so now I'm walking around with no teeth in front of my mouth and now I have to wait to regain coverage with my insurance which is going to be in January so I have to be without teeth until January. Thanks child smile for nothing . read more

Not too much to say about their services, it's near my house and job, it's was convenient. We are family of four we all go to the same place they always are sending, emails, texts , calls. The at all times that some times it was too much. But on the day I wanted to make an appointment for me, since last year. Guess what! I was on collection because my insurance didn't pay for my treatment. I asked why No one said anything before.they just said "probably the letters got lost in the mail". And have to say my kids are always on appointments in this place. Now I hope my credit it's not ruined. read more

They're are extremely efficient and I absolutely loved Dr. Shaw ! I would recommend her to anyone.. Horrible costumer service. If you go there prepare to be waiting forever. I stayed sitting waiting for more than 1.5 hours and nobody comes to say anything or give any explanation. I would not recommend this place read more

I made an appointment for 9am when they open and could not get seen until almost 10. They overbook and tell u it go by who called in first which make no sense if you have an appointment scheduled. Horrible customer service and there is no order in that place. Will never visit again. I am changing my dentist ASAP ! read more

A literall kid mill. There simply circle kids in and out and claim you need multiple procedures. We got a second opinion from a real dentist, and it was NOWHERE near what Child Smiles claimed our daughter needed. We only went because it is near the school where I work, otherwise, we NEVER would have gone. Getting anybody to call you back is another trial. Just stay away!! read more

Buyer beware, this place is shady. I went in because my front tooth was chipped. It is not the first time, it had a chip before, and this time it was the same. I signed in and they asked me for 100usd upfront and as I was a walking without insurance I just payed. Well, they took me a room, without seeing a doctor and took an xray, they then take me to see a doctor that did not see the xray and looked at the tooth. She asked if I bumped or knocked the tooth and I replied no. So "just a filling" she said. They then take me to the front to pay 185usd for a filling. So I assumed that being that I had payed 100 it would be 85. NO, it was 285usd for a filling. This place is a total scam for insurance payouts. Do not go here, EVER!!! read more

Not kidding, I left in tears. I get really upset when I'm negatively affected by people/businesses acting irresponsibly. I hate unprofessionalism and the modernity and friendliness of this office doesn't excuse a 1 hr and 20 minute wait time. This isn't the amount of time I waited before being seen. It was the amount of time I waited before leaving. It's baffling to think of how much longer I might have waited had I stayed. One of the people at the front desk tried to say that the long wait was because people show up late, etc. But that's an obvious lie. Waiting an hour and twenty minutes isn't because a few people showed up late. It's because you obviously book too many people on Saturdays which leads to an overcrowded waiting room and egregiously long wait times. That's not ok. Do better. I made my first visit to this dentistry on 12/28 for a routine cleaning which was quick and efficient. I booked a follow-up appt for the following day on 12/29 (a Saturday) to have a few cavities filled and that's when I discovered their very obvious scheduling problem. It's a decent place, but I don't think I can return after this incident. It's very inconsiderate of people's time. read more

This place is awful. Rude staff, constant appointment issues and all around sketchy. I am on their payment plan as per their request even though i never had an issue with our monthly orthodontist payments. The first week i was charged twice... called and they said they fixed it. The next week i was charged 3x. No one in this place has a clue. It's a financial scam... run as far away from here as possible. If you braces come off earlier than the estimated time you are still responsible for the full amount of money even though you won't need the remaining xrays and appointments. I was told it's how they make it affordable for everyone... basically you're paying for someone else's care . Take my advice and go ANYWHERE BUT HERE. I've had to contact my bank for fraud because of these extra payments. ZERO STARS IS STILL TOO MANY read more

I went for a general cleaning already had fillings and other dentistry done. Then the last said I had 11 cavities and both my kids as well. They are milking insurance companies for work that don't need to be done. Before leaving the office the dentist said if I have issues chewing or pain to come back, now I can't even eat on one side of my mouth and every time I drink something its like they left the nerve in my mouth exposed not to mention they claiming its cause my insurance won't pay unless its necessary, when they the ones who messed up. Now I'm trying to find a dentist who will fix this issue or if it can be fixed. read more

Their really great! They help you out alot! Everyone there is so nice! And orthodontist take care of you!

This is a lovely dental office for families with toddlers ! I bring my two young ones here and usually they are frightened by the dentist. However, how welcoming and friendly the assistants are made them feel relaxed and calmed especially a young girl named Maria .They treated my children so well and I'm so pleased with the cleaning. Doctor yoomi was extremely nice not to mention she explained everything in great detail and she spoke to my children as if she knew them forever even went to hand pick stickers with them something usually left to the assistants. Definitely recommend this place they made me feel really welcomed and at home. I personally go elsewhere for my cleaning but I will be switching over to this office with a doubt. read more

Do not take your children here. It seems that the goal of this dentistry chain is to see as many patients as possible wIthout really offering them any real care or treatment. You make appointments but you still have to wait long past your appointment to be seen. Last time I waited an hour past our appointment time. The rush through the appointment. As another reviewer mentioned they don't sit siblings next to each other so you can't talk to the dentists. They also don't properly clean the kids teeth. They only brush them with a Manual tooth brush. They find a way to charge as much as possible by splitting appointments up or adding unnecessary treatments that aren't covered by insurance without consulting you . This was especially clear after taking our kids to a real dentist and discussing what we had seen at Childsmiles both in Elizabeth and Newark. This is not a place that is concerned for the wellness of its patients. I wouldn't suggest it to anyone and I wish that I had realized this earlier. read more
