He genuinely cares about your teeth and is extremely detailed in his explanations whenever there are complications. I love the fact that he really emphasizes prevention. He also has an amazing network of orthodontists he can send you to for more detailed work, and you can tell they fully trust eachothers' work. Not an awfully chatty salesman type dentist and a real gentleman who is confident and takes pride in his work. I would give him 6 stars for his more than fluent English and Japanese as well!

What a HUGE mistake it was. There was extremely long wait, and there was also a miscommunication between the dentists (Dr. Marks and Dr. Olga who is an associate). While I was there only for the preventative routine, Dr. Marks came in and out of the office while cleaning my teeth. The cleaning itself was VERY ROUGH and aggressive without any care. The whole procedure took less than 3 minutes. I've visited many dentist offices, but never have I ever had this type of a unfair treatment. There are many fake reviews out there in Yelp these days, but please read this one review and be mindful whom you choose as your dentist, even for something simple as a dental cleaning!

Patience from a dentist is hard to find now that every dentist has multiple bookings and they jump from treatment room to treatment room. Dr Mathe has 3 stations set up but he only works with one patient at a time. Maybe they will prep the next patient in the next room but no back and forth. I have kids. One, which was terrified of the dentist, now goes without issues to Dr. Mathe. Previously he was afraid to open his mouth to other dentists. Dr. Mathe explains and talks to kids at their level and makes it a positive experience and is therefore able to actually do a proper cleaning and treatment. Give Dr. Mathe a try and you wont want to move so far away that you can't drive back for appointments. We have all new doctors at our new home but we kept our Dentist the same. I ultimately agreed because I thought he was someone with credibility and trustworthiness. However I was duped. I paid for the root canal thinking I am making a responsible decision. Upon the next time of going to my next dentist, he laughed and mocked the idea of a dentist performing on a wisdom tooth by doing a root canal. He then proceeded to pull all my wisdom teeth which were due for removal, including the one that dr. Sharifi had wasted my money performing the root canal on. Bottom line.. AVOID dr. Now, I never leave reviews for ANY business (although my Yelp account is appropriately aged) but upon reviewing his Yelp profile, I noticed the completely undeserving negative review left by a disgruntled patient (or more likely, a competitor). I'm here to say that, although I was only a child while a regular at his practice, my parents certainly aren't people to put up with any disparaging service (they were regulars too, as he was our family dentist) and that lends to the additional fact that this is an amazing practice for children, as well as adults. His entire staff always helped us feel comfortable and welcomed, beyond the usual "I'm really good at being polite because we need you to want to return." No, my parents always made a point to expose those types of people in assertive ways, and their lack of discouragement with Dr. Naser Sharifi was always a true testament to the special and astonishing character of this man, traits that I already believed him to possess. Take your entire family there once, and your only regret will be that you hadn't visited him sooner. I've been a patient for 7+ years and although hygienists have come and gone, they all do an excellent job at cleaning my teeth (which was not the case when I went to a couple other places covered by my insurance when I was working full time). He has a great sense of humor, too! I've always been self pay and he isn't cheap but it's worth it for quality care. He may be a bit old school in his approach but I think, with that, comes a sense of ownership and professionalism that is often lacking in other places.

Paperwork: Straightforward and no nonsense. Follow-up- Immediate. A phone call by the doctor was made a couple hours after the tooth extraction to check in on the patient. ----------------- The actual experience------- Upon arrival, paperwork was filled out and the doctor was able to see my daughter immediately for a tooth extraction. Bedside manner of the doctor was excellent. Transition of the procedure was smooth. Additional paperwork for maintenance was given. A cute tooth holder was given to my daughter as well as additional supplies. Later that evening, the doctor called to check in to see how she was doing.
