My apartment building offers Please Assist Me (PAM) and I have used them for a little less than a year now. Their employees are fairly consistent (low turnover) and they do an excellent job! I purchased the Tidy-Up Bundle, which is a light touch in the living space and then added on the bathroom cleaning. I feel for what they charge in my apartment, it is a great deal to have all my floors swept, vacuumed, and/or mopped, all the counter tops wiped down, all the dishes put away, and light dusting. If your area offers them as a service, I highly recommend you look into getting on their schedule! read more

Do not book if you need your place cleaned before plans, traveling, or hosting guests. I booked a cleaning with a 10-5 window and was told the cleaner would arrive by 3. They never showed up and did not respond to my follow up message until 5pm, and they were still looking for a cleaner. I specifically needed the cleaning done before a guest arrived. Completely unreliable experience and left me scrambling at the last minute. SMH. read more

Great service, and pricing too. They do a great job and leave your apartment looking amazing! The app makes booking convenient and flexible - I get the bundle and am able to adjust based on my schedule to around once every 2-3 weeks. I wish the cleaners were more professional about keeping shoes off or wearing shoe covers. Just an fyi - you are not guaranteed a specific time which makes planning difficult if you'd like to be there. Even if they could share an anticipated arrival time the morning of, it would be helpful. read more

If negative was an option, that would be my rating. This tops the list as THE WORST experience with this business, Please Assist Me. I'm confused at what the staff was trying to do throughout this whole ordeal. Was it simply negligence, lying or were they trying to steal packages. I placed an order for Monday January 27 to have packages in the Amazon locker brought up to my apartment and placed on the kitchen island. I also provided them with the Amazon locker code as well as a temporary code for my apartment door so they can enter. On the original pickup day, they didn't show up. I'm give them grace and reached out the next day, Tuesday, asking will they be bringing up my packages that day. Keep in mind, I have to follow up with them and they didn't follow up with me. I mentioned that I was away briefly on business and needed my packages retrieved from the Amazon lockers to avoid extra fees. The staff said they will schedule the pickup for the next day, Wednesday, when they're on site. Wednesday arrives, I reminded them, they reassured me that the team will bring them up to my apartment. It's now late in afternoon, I notice nothing has been delivered via my cameras. They reached out saying they couldn't access the lockers with the code provided. Turns out, they were using the temporary apartment door code instead of the Amazon locker code that provided in the chat. I provided them with the locker code - again. When I followed up, asking if they had any issues or if my packages had been delivered, the PAM staff said yes the team delivered my packages. That was a lie - my apartment records every door entry and I also have security cameras in my apartment. I pointed this out, and suddenly, they went silent on the chat. After no response, I called. They said they were "reaching out to the team." Conveniently, my camera then captured my kitchen motion lights turning on - and just like that (minutes to 7PM) my packages miraculously appeared on the kitchen island as I instructed in the order I placed the app and via chat. Talk about a thief in the night. They followed up saying it was a miscommunication and they left my packages outside by the door. This makes NO SENSE - the instructions and reminders clearly stated to put them on the kitchen island (which is inside the apartment). WHY ask for my apartment code if you were NOT going to use it! WHY would I then GIVE you a temporary door code. These guys are FRAUDS. They lied to my face, claiming my packages were delivered and they were not. Imagine if I didn't have cameras - by the time I got back from my trip, my packages would've been long gone. I have triiieeeedddd to give this business the benefit of the doubt, the missed scheduled pickups, the unprofessionalism - I AM SO DONE! read more

The Please Assist Me cleaning crew does an excellent job. I have used them twice for their Home Refresh service adding bedrooms and bathrooms. The cleaning crew works quickly but carefully and are very careful with personal property. My apartment looks cleaner than when I first moved in. I am a luxury apartment resident in Arlington, VA, and I have used this company over a period of 1+ years for a variety of tasks and I do not recommend them. I've used them primarily for dry cleaning pick-up and they do this very, very poorly. I've alerted them to the fact that my dry cleaning basket is 3 feet away from my front door and they claimed to take note of it but have on multiple occasions not picked up my dry cleaning simply because it wasn't directly in front of the door. Not only will they not pick it up, but they don't even attempt to call you to figure out where the items are, even though I've told them multiple times where the basket is (3 feet from the door). They often deliver items extremely late, way past the date promised. The dry cleaning company they partner with has damaged or lost multiple of my expensive items. They were not quick to come to a resolution in any of those instances and did not proactively reach out to me. I was always the one reaching out, asking for status updates, etc. On one instance, a gold pin on my Versace shirt was broken, and it took them 2 weeks to come to a resolution, and the pin they offered as a replacement was not even similar to the original one. I didn't even feel like reaching out to tell them because they move at a snail's pace when resolving concerns, and I didn't want to go through the stress of reaching out to them for updates again. They do not keep track of how many items you drop off and if one of your items is lost or late, they do not update you and don't seem to even have a system in place to know if an item is missing. They constantly place advertisements around my building but don't value their current customers. It seems they're desperate for new business because I assume customers are dropping like flies after dealing with the terrible service. In short , if you want to deal with a company marred by errors, slow communication, inflexibility, and a lack of accountability, you should use them. If you value good service, you should definitely look elsewhere. I am switching to Dryy Drop because they seem to have much better reviews. read more

I have been using Please Assist Me for over a year and I truly enjoy the service. The employees are so nice and I enjoy coming home each week to a clean home. I also used a few of the errands and chores services which are convenient as well. What I love most is that they integrate with my building. I make a request and they are there - no key release, back and forth, etc. Just book and they come, so easy. read more

Only: the price is set on the base of the number of bathrooms and sleeping rooms, but they don't take into account the appartment surface. We have been using Please Assist Me for a couple of months now, and we are so happy we signed up for a recurring cleaning service from them! The cleaners are thorough, professional, and friendly, and we are always so excited about our clean apartment when they leave. They make everything so easy with scheduling and payment, which is great if you're frequently busy, and they take care of the chores I hate most like the dishes. I requested their cleaning services twice and both times I was highly disappointed. For my first request, I hired them to clean the front room and the guest room and the cleaners did show up but with nasty attitudes and a distaste for their job. They swept and that was about it. My second request only happened because my building gave us a free coupon. The cleaners couldn't even bothered to show up and the people on the customer service like the cleaners were just as disinterested in their jobs and lazy. I don't recommend using this service, even if your building gives you a free voucher. It's shitty value for the money. read more

Really rude company with bad customer service. I asked for a clean, the cleaning crew was late to get there. They did a terrible job when I contacted there customer service about it they were rude and nonchalant as well. If only this company did its job well, it would be a life saver. Since Please Assist Me is affiliated with my apartment building, I have had to rely on them for a few things from time to time: mail/package pick up, plant watering, house cleaning, dry cleaning/repairs. So far, I have not had one single service that has gone well and without a hitch. They destroyed a Shun knife by putting it in the dishwasher, they picked up flowers delivered for someone else (and didn't return them as requested), they mid-addressed and mis-weighed an outgoing package, which was subsequently lost, they lost a dress in need of repair and stained a sweater with some sticky substance, and they failed to show up on more than one occasion... and the list goes on. The only way you can tell someone "cleaned" the apartment is that pillows were moved into lines. I really really want and could use a service like this. But not this one. read more

Cannot recommend this service enough. If you're lucky enough to rent in a building they operate in, please take advantage of this reliable, friendly, & completely affordable home care option. They kept over a dozen of my plants alive for month-long trip & left everything exactly where I kept it in the apartment.
