I followed up with another email on 5/13 with no response. UPDATE Dave called me back personally today-he explained that they've been swamped & he said sorry for not getting back to me sooner. He has the wine & I can pick it up tomorrow! I love that they are helping local businesses during this time, and really I'd give more stars if I could get someone to respond to my question. She laughed at and corrected me during our brief conversation, making me uncomfortable and quick to move on to another caterer. I am sure she had no ill intentions but as someone who has worked in customer service for seven years this was an unacceptable way to be treated. It came across as rude and thoughtless. I am giving this two stars instead of one because I hate to poorly effect this catering company's ratings because of a phone call, but I was very put off by this interaction.

The Persian Chicken Kabobs are excellent. Between Santorini and Danville International Market I think Diamondbite's has the juiciest by far. Grilled to perfection. For the ground meat kabobs, I can only recommend the Beef version. The ground chicken was dry and overly seasoned - salty to the point of being inedible. The saffron rice is also good, though some more oil would be nice. They also offer extreme contrast of flavors - a side of pickled cabbage that's really tart and a single jalapeño pepper that's spicy for me. Definitely plan to try some of their other offerings. They ran out of Aush Resteh last time so it'll be something to look forward to forward too.

The food ultimately arrived about an hour late. When I later discussed the situation with the owner, I had hoped for understanding and a simple acknowledgment of the mistake. Instead, I was met with repeated excuses and defensiveness. Despite the clear communication leading up to the event, there was no apology and no acceptance of responsibility for the late delivery. The food itself was good. However, what left the most negative impression was not the delay itself, but the complete lack of accountability afterward. Delays happen, but customers deserve honest communication and ownership when things go wrong. Unfortunately, because of the way this situation was handled, I cannot recommend this business to others and will not be using their services again.

Henry was so easy to work with, my wife and I were wondering if we missed any important planning steps. Haha. It took just a few emails to get a quote, secure the date, and finalize the menu. Henry and his son showed up at the park exactly when he said he'd be there, and the food was cooked on premise, exactly on time. Henry sources all the ingredients from Costco and buys everything needed the day before. I'm a huge fan of all things Kirkland. Always solid quality and value. I've been pretty lazy about writing Yelp reviews lately. Figured I'd write one for Grillaxin since many of the other reviews are years old, and the website seems to be defunct. She really took the time to listen to what I was looking for, and went out of her way to deliver for me. We did a fancy mimosa brunch and wine paired lunch. Both came with multiple dishes and the team LOVED it. We opted for a fusion Indian theme and they brought a tandoori and the food and flavors were amazing. We were so impressed with the wine pairing as well, since Indian spaces are difficult to pair with. There were not one but various major issues with the service. 1. The amount of food being served was limited and all the guests had to wait for long periods of time between the servings. Many of the food items like roti and paratha were not even served. 2. We witnessed a lot of rudeness from the staff while interacting with family and friends, which is very unexpected since one doesn't expect this from someone in service industry, let alone basic human manners. 3. Coming to major part, we had 2 main desserts that we primarily had in the menu while they added 1 more complimentary dessert to the menu. However on the day, I could only see 1 complimentary dessert being served, that too when we asked where the desserts are. Me, being the bride, never saw the other 2 desserts, that I was so much looking forward to. This was way more disappointing that things promised were not delivered. As a host and bride, I was very disappointed with the management as things were slow and everyone in the staff looking clueless on what to be served next, clearly showing lack of management and service. Honestly, for me, they don't even deserve single star review, as instead of acting on the feedback that we were giving them on the day, they chose to be even more rude to us, which shows the most unprofessional service company.
