Large Cheesesteak Pizza (sorry I took a slice before taking a picture)
David Y.

Very fast when I called for a pickup. The time window was accurate and I didn't have to wait. The pizza itself is very yummy . The cheesesteak pie is what me and my usually get. It is humongous. One slice is enough for dinner. The service behind the counter is nice and personable. Commented on my corgi coin purse. This is one of the better pizza places I've ever been to. Highly recommended.

We came here for a quick dinner, service was ok. I ordered 3 slices and garlic knots which were all good. Margarita slice was ok, needed more basil in my opinion. The veggie sliced pictured was pretty good think of a deep dish with tons of veggies on top! My child enjoyed their slice of pepperoni and the garlic knots were good as well. Good spot for a quick bite that won't break the bank & decent pizza.

Plain pie was prepared well with a great cheese:sauce:dough ratio (even with a thick crust)!

QUALITY PIZZA FOR YEARS, Plaza is now my go-to spot (again)!!! Offering many slice/pie varieties with a thick/crisp crust and a great ratio of cheese:sauce:dough, Plaza Pizza delivers great value for a meal at lunchtime or dinner. Having lived in Secaucus many years ago and having tried MANY other pizzerias in New Jersey since then, one great thing about finding a new job near the plaza has been re-discovering just how satisfying a slice or two for lunch at Plaza REALLY is! I got two slices of their white pie for lunch and each one was a meal in itself. One was delicious for lunch and the other was just as good for dinner being reheated again. Returning for lunch a few days later, I felt like a kid in a candy shop eventually picking out the chicken veggie for a slice. It was just what was needed to get through the rest of the work day. The end of the week called for bringing some pies home for family dinner, so the plain and white (pictured) were the choice and they were both thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The 20-minute drive took some of the crisp away, and I'm sure a quick pop in the oven would have restored that (as it did EXCELLENTLY with the leftovers a couple of days later), but arriving home that night to a hungry audience nixed that option. LOL Growing up in Queens, there are still some pizzas there that I prefer over Plaza's, but having tasted a LOT of New Jersey pizza over the past 35 years -- I can honestly say that theirs is one of the best I can find on this side of the river. I believe it may be even better than it was when I frequented it all those years ago!!! (There is certainly more variety than there was back then!) KUDOS!!!

Good spot. It has been a long time since I have been here but it was just as I remember. My slices were large, tasted great and came out quick.

Just ordered pizza from here. And for a simple large cheese pizza it tasted pretty good. Delivery driver was nice! No complaints here.. surprisingly pizza was still hot when it got to me.. maybe next time I'll order something else off the menu.. they did me justice!

Terrible Costumer Service looks like they are doing a favor selling you a pizza I Hope the Owner's Open up their Minds for a New Era now Days Bad reviews take you out of business as quickly you begin be very careful pay attention on how you treat costumer they are the ones responsible for your business to keep up with open doors

Interesting reading previous reviews about this pizza joint in my hometown. I have been a resident of Secaucus my whole life and pretty much seen the town change, in food variety. That being said, I love pizza where it can be a problem. I called Plaza Pizza for a delivery (half pepperoni and half veggie pizza, size large). The guy on the phone was not the nicest person, but he got to the point and I wanted to make my pizza order. Before I could tell the man on the phone to add $5 as tip (I was paying by card) he hangs up, "Yea, give it 45 minutes." I called back, told him he hung up on me and added $5 for the driver. It was my little accomplishment; don't just hang up the phone pal. It wasn't 45 minutes but 30 and the delivery guy was great. The pizza....was good. I enjoyed it very much. I believe Plaza Pizza's strengths are the plain pizza, the toppings/variety and quick delivery. Plaza Pizza can learn on being a bit nicer to it's customers. I gave the place 4 stars because it's my go to for pizza in Secaucus (minus 1 for a hint of rude customer service...at times.)

Plain slices. The pizza is saucy. I prefer less sauce, but still a good slice.

Holy shmoly, I love this place. I am not usually in this part of town, so I honestly was not sure…read morehow I would be received when I walked through the door. But the staff was incredibly welcoming right from the start, and that alone earns them five stars. You never know what to expect in a new neighborhood, but they set the tone immediately. The vibe of the restaurant is very comfortable. It is the kind of spot you walk into after a long day or a productive day and you just know you are about to eat something good. It feels like a family run place, even if it is not actually run by family. It has that warmth. You can tell it is an important part of the neighborhood. I even noticed pictures of community members on the wall, which says a lot. Now, the food. There is hot food, cold food, and plenty of items you can take home. I ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich, and let me tell you, it was the size of a skinny football. I am not exaggerating. It took me almost a day and a half to finish it. It tasted exceptional, and I actually had to stop myself from eating the whole thing in one sitting so I would not slip into a food coma. One tip, eat it while it is hot. That is when it is at its peak power. My friend agreed with me about the overall vibe and quality. If I am ever in the neighborhood again, I will gladly go out of my way just to try more of their dishes. You do not find spots like this easily. New York City has great food, but a place with this combination of warmth, quality, portion size, and charm is rare. In another city, this could easily be a reservation only spot packed every night. Here, it fits perfectly in the community. Great job to everyone there. Keep up the good work. Cheers.

It was 40 mins before closing on a Sunday, the complete staff still made us feel lived and welcomed. They went through the menu with us, they described anything that was needed. Let's get to the beautiful ambiance, we sat outside and had a nice romantic evening together. The food was beyond delicious. I got a chicken cutlet parm with vodka sauce on a huge hero. The flavor was on point, texture of vodka sauce was NOT overwhelming. The amount of mozzarella they put on it was perfect to where it had a nice even melt. My bride ordered an eggplant wrap drizzled with sweet balsamic glaze. Cant wait to have to go to NJ for something again just to enjoy this place one more time!

I'm always searching for an excellent place for pizza delivery. Tom's has great reviews all around,…read moreso I was excited to give it a try. I ordered simply - a large pepperoni pizza. It was delivered fairly quickly on bike and arrived in good condition. The pizza itself was very average. Average crust, average flavor, and A LOT of average pepperoni that appeared to be mostly uncooked (it almost seemed like they put the pepperoni on after the pizza came out of the oven?) Tom's seems a reliable neighborhood pizza spot, but not a destination.

And this is none other than "Tom's Delicious Pizza". Located directly on Summit Ave (and tucked in between 17th St/18th St) in the heart of Union City, NJ, this small pizza business has been dishing out mouth watering pizza (by the whole pie or the slice) dating back to 1998 (according to their website). Best of all, they have very generous hours of operation being open Monday-Saturday from 11am-10pm and Sunday from 12-10pm. I came here during the evening of Monday 10/13/2025 at around 6pm. Since it was a cool, windy autumn day, I wanted to find something in close proximity to my Airbnb. This part of Union City is fairly easy to get to (foot, car, transit, etc.) and doesn't get too busy. However, the inside is very small with only a few seats to enjoy your pizza. Their menu is quite extensive for being such a small place. They carry traditional and unique pizzas (in various sizes) as well as wings, fries, tenders, mozzarella sticks, hot dogs, burgers, pasta, and even seafood! However, my lady and I were just craving a piping hot pizza (by the slice) and this place absolutely satisfied our cravings! The guys that worked behind the counter were great as I ordered a slice of their "Chicken & Bacon" while my lady went with a slice of "Pepperoni". Prices here are very reasonable as my slice was only $4 while hers was $3. Once our slices were ready, we proceed to sit down, add our mozzarella & Italian seasoning, and were ready to indulge. I have got to say that this place is legit amazing. Some people say that this best pizza is in NYC but New Jersey is also up there at the top. The slices here are a traditional thin while they did not skimp on the toppings. And the crust had that amazingly consistent texture; buttery, crispy, and absolutely heavenly. All in all, "Tom's Delicious Pizza" is not only delish but the service, prices, portion, selection, and nostalgia of this place made it feel as if I was in an old school neighborhood pizza parlor. And if you just happen to be in Union City, NJ (which is roughly a 15-minute drive to NYC), definitely give them a try. With that said and done, I am giving this small business a perfect five-star rating.

I know this is an absolute staple in the area and it has its own regulars and cult following. However, if I wanted to go out for Italian food, I would not pick this place. In fact, every time I go here, it's always because of someone else's suggestion. There are some things on here that are fine - the pizza, for example, is sufficient. Their salads are also decent - usually large and fresh. But I've had some of their other hot foods and have been majorly disappointed. The calamari - from a bag, greasy. The grilled chicken panini - no flavor at all. I asked for balsamic vinegar and they had none, which is wild for an Italian restaurant. Even the wine tasted stale the last time I went here. I will give props to the waiters who are always very accommodating and pleasant. The vibe here is nothing fancy - more like a step up from a pizzeria, great to go after a movie or another activity. Like I said, this just wouldn't be my first choice for Italian food because there are much better places in the area, IMO.
