Saturday afternoon not real busy. It's really quite fun, a step back in time to my high school days. Disco music, pinball machines and pac man. Cocktails named after popular people and things from time. Didn't try any of the food. Various snacks, sandwiches and burgers are available. I felt the three of us that lived that time were a bit invisible to the bartender clearly born way past 1976. As it was nearly impossible, even with eye contact, to place a drink order. The cocktail was ok, a bit too much simple syrup. We moved on. I would like to give it another try in the future and order some food. There is a parking lot to the north of the building that you text to pay.

Very cool vintage arcade/pinball selection! I had never been here, but had heard about it from other friends. We came for a Christmas party, and brought in catering, so my review doesn't include their food. I thought the place was really spacious and had a mix of larger tables and some cozy seating. I only had one drink (flower power), but it was wonderful! I really liked the chill vibe and will definitely be back soon!

We love this place!! My husband and I took our engagement photos here about a year ago and continue to come back all of the time. Today we brought some new friends to the bar for their first time - and it was a hit! We didn't play any games but the food and drink itself was enough to encourage them to come back. Normally I get The Shag Carpet but this time I switched it up! I wasn't disappointed. All of the drinks are delicious and the candied bacon was a hit between me and my friend! We both ate them from our husbands drinks. The staff is great and really lets you do your own thing - which I love for a bar. They serve the food and drinks quickly and always answer any questions. I recommend Playfield any night of the week.

Favorite bar in Reno. Great, personal bartenders, constant rotating taps of amazing beers/ciders, and the food is bomb.com! Also, there's sooooo many games here! Every last Sunday of the month there's free play, so you know where I'll be! Definitely get my pinball fix here and the great food, drinks and bar tenders keep me coming back for more! Centrally located in Reno so if you're a traveler wondering where the funnest bar in town is with everything you need, look no further than this retro bar! You won't be disappointed! P.s. please bring back the Buffalo egg rolls

I hadn't been here before and we were trying a ton of places for the Reno Food and Drink Week. We decided this would be a good way to have a little foodie tour of downtown. App and a drink here then a meal somewhere else afterwards. It worked out really well because I was able to try the Bison Egg Rolls and something from the taps. I really enjoyed the egg rolls and would definitely come back for those. We didn't have time to get some pinball games going but they seem to have a pretty good selection of machines. I am way too old to make this place a regular visit, but on the right occasion this would be a solid choice for a low key evening.

This is an updated review specifically about their food! I already gave them 5 stars for the drinks and overall vibe of the arcade bar. We came here last Sunday since it was their monthly free play day (last Sunday of every month). We split a few appetizers including the mini corn dogs and poutine fries! Both came with nice serving sizes and tasted really good. A little bummed that the cheese curds were more like melted cheese and stuck to the fries. The mini corn dogs were bigger than your typical mini corn dogs and came with just enough for a few people to split. We were disappointed that they were all out of fried pickles, that would've been our go-to app to get. Overall they have a solid selection of food at affordable prices, I would get another snack here in the future but probably not a full meal.

I always have an enjoyable time at Playfield 76! We've been a few times now. The first time we just played street fighter and Skeeball and had some tasty drinks. On a busy night the bartenders were attentive and speedy with drinks. We came with a friend last night for drinks and food. I'm doing dry January so I asked the bartender for a mock tail. None were listed but he mixed up a yummy minty limeade. My friend ordered and aperol spritz and the boyf got their special old fashioned. The burnt cinnamon in the drink wasn't my favorite addition but it was a quality drink. We also ordered the chicken sandwich and slice of pizza. Pizza was tasty and had ample pepperoni. I love being able to have a slice with my drinks. The chicken sandwich was very juicy. The breading kind of slid off which was a bummer. Solid chicken sando at a great price point. The music here is also at the perfect decibel if you're still trying to talk to your friends which is rad.

Come for the games stay for the food! I have to say I was so shocked to hear that this "barcade" had such a unique and delicious menu. To start, of course there are so many fun arcade games both new and classic. From pinball machines, skeeball, Rampage, and Pac-Man there's definitely something for everyone! It's a very spacious place with long tables perfect for groups as well as smaller tables for a more intimate seating. My first time there we had ordered the mini corndogs, wings, cheese curds, and poutine. It was at this point the bartender taking our order said "Aren't you getting a pizza?" and said that we HAD to try the French Dip Pizza that comes with au jus and he was 1000% correct. A definite MUST try. It is such a prime example of an inspired pizza: tastes like the sandwich but is definitely a pizza all on its own. The mini corndogs while yes, short and cute, are actually pretty large, kielbasa sized dogs with a nice thin layer of batter that actually sticks and doesn't fall off when you bite into it. I also enjoy the honey mustard dipping sauce that comes with. The cheese curds and poutine are fun comfort snacks that I feel like I don't run into too often here on the west coast so I always look forward to having them at Playfield. Finally, you need something to wash all that great food down and their cocktails do not disappoint. I think my favorite has to be the Mairzy Doats: gin, lemon, blackberry and ...oat milk! It might seem strange but it is a really great combo! Other favorites are the Sex on the Peach, also gin based and great if you like mild and sweet drinks, the Pimmp's Cup, refreshing tequila based drink, and the tropically Tango in Tulum. While I've only ever had the cocktails they also have plenty of beer/wine options as well house shots! My most recent visit I learned that you can order and pay on your phone directly from your table, very convenient! They also have Happy Hour form 4-6pm and the kitchen is open until midnight. Definitely stop by Playfield 76 on your next night on the town!

Great place to bring your out of town friends and family! I personally love playfield because not only do they have awesome games, they also have awesome food. There are other establishments in town that have old school games and snacks but not one that has real food. You can come here and not leave hungry especially after a night of being extra thirsty here! All of their specialty cocktails are tasty! You can definitely find something to quench your thirst. They list their games on their website so if you're looking for something in particular, you can check it out online first! I find this extremely helpful especially if you're wanting to unlock a childhood memory! Next let's talk about the food. You can get your classic bar food like wings and fries but they also serve salads, sandwiches, and pizza and let me tell you, the French dip pizza is sooo good. Whoever came up with this is a genius! Flavor explosion in your mouth! You need to go with a group of people so you can try a little bit of everything!

hey, first time here, cool arcade and photo spot to hangout. food was okay, however the service was a bit slow. it took about 25 mins for appetizers. I had to follow up on the appetizers as the female worker forgot about my order. the goal is to focus and not forget on customer orders in order to receive great reviews and have returning customers. 3 stars for the slow service, if the service improves, will update.

Super fun, elevated bar food, good cocktails. Old skool - you actually have to get quarters to play the games! We had a blast for our holiday party.

This place is a whole vibe. It's nice to see a barcade done reasonably well here. The couplet attempts we've had more felt like very run of the mill bars that had a few machines to bash buttons on. Play field offers a hip and elevated atmosphere to enjoy some of your favorite classics. I'll admit their roster feels a bit small but the aesthetic of the joint makes up for it. They had 10-12 pinball machines, 12-15 arcade cabinets ranging from all eras, a couple Smee all lanes and three quick shot basketball lanes. The decor makes you feel like you slipped back in time a bit as everything is decked out in a color palette and style that your grandmother would likely be proud of. I was having so much fun with my group that I only snapped a shot of the pizza buuuut all of the food we tried was amazing. Corn dog bites were great, I'm not sure how you make a corn dog amazing but I enjoyed them thoroughly! The cheese curds were probably my favorite because who doesn't like fried cheese? We also had curry wurst fries I believe is what they were, it was a new spin on some smothered fries! A close second place had to be the prosciutto pizza. I was barely hungry by the time that came out and I managed to still devour three slices shamelessly. As for the drink side of things they have a nice selection with a handful of their own creations. I only stuck to making a tour through their beers which were all fantastic. The bartenders are decked out with aprons that definitely vibe with the hip aesthetic of Playfield. I will definitely be back to have some more good times at Playfield. The only real complaint I have is the music was a couple notches too loud for the first couple hours of the evening when we had just a handful of people in the joint. Other than that I'm excited to see where Playfield goes!

French dip pizza with a side of au jus. Delicious!

Had a great time at Playfield 76! The games bring a mix of nostalgia and modern and it was a blast wandering around to pick what game to play next. There's quite a few pinball machines and even skee-ball if you're really going for the nostalgia factor. I also loved the 80's music that was playing! I expected the games to be fun, but I was not expecting to have an absolutely delicious pizza. I went with the French dip pizza and it blew my mind. I would go back just for this pizza! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They checked on us without hovering and served our pizza right when it was ready. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

As far as the games go, they're all working but the place just feels tired a bit old and rundown. They don't offer a system where they're unlimited play cards include ticket games, but do not reward tickets so the selection of games available to the kids at the party was fairly limited as a result which bothered me, but of course didn't bother the kids who were just happy to continue swiping and playing. That said they do offer some games here that are not typically included in other arcades in town like the Minecraft game which spits out super cool cards and certainly captivated the kids for quite some time. The party room was large but parsley appointed in terms of decorations and really didn't offer much in terms of seeming or decor. There's truly a DIY situation and thankfully, we came with a couple of decorations to put up to make it feel more festive. One of the pizzas included in the party arrived squished in one corner and the supervisor was quick with the solution. Unfortunately, they couldn't remake the pizza which I'm not really sure why, but instead he offered additional cards that the kids could use to play the Midway games downstairs, which ended up being a huge hit. The birthday party deal is a great value to be honest. Works out to around 25 bucks a kid minimum of 10 and it includes pizza and unlimited soda plus a two hour arcade card and $15 to use on the midway or the games with redemption prizes. We ended up adding a $100 card to our party so that we could have the kids play some additional Midway games and that really did extend the fun quite a bit. Midway games are about to six dollars per play, so it does actually go a little ways. If you're staying at Circus Circus, the XP arcade is a fun stop over but if you're from the area, I personally wouldn't say this is the one to come to. That said if you wanna play the midway, you really can't do that anywhere else and it is super fun, especially rewarding when you win a prize. We'll certainly recommend this birthday party option to friends.

The offer card specials and we opted for the $60 one to give us an additional $15 as a bonus. The game area was clean and well lit up. They have video games on the top floor and some more ticket games on the bottom floor. I feel like we lost some credits on the machines because we would swipe and it wouldn't work, but I noticed that my money was going down. There wasn't an attendant to help. We spent like an hour there using up the card. The kids racked up about 1,000 tickets on their card. They use a self serve prize machine to redeem your tickets, which is pretty cool. Overall, we had a great time.

I can't speak to the rooms on the lower price range, but what I got, was absolutely amazing…read more I was here on Cinco de Mayo, but because it was a Tuesday, the rates were very reasonable. I have "status", so I was offered an upgrade to a spa suite, for a very reasonable price. The price range, of course depends on what day of the week it is, as well if there are any events going on, but even at full price, that spa suite is well worth the splurge. I was checked in by Claudia, and she was very friendly and helpful. My room was in the tower that is connected to the main casino. I was on the fifth floor. The view during the daytime wasn't much, but at night time and sunrise, it was very pretty. I walked into the room, and I couldn't believe it! I had actually gotten a two room suite it was a beautiful suite. The living room had 2 very comfortable couches. One of them had a hide-a- bed in it, or you could just sleep across the couch. it had a mini bar that had a Keurig on it, there were two TVs, with a good picture and lots of channels, as well as the movies for rent, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, and there were also two bathrooms. The bathroom attached to the living room does not have a tub or shower. There was also a huge closet. There was a fridge, but no microwave. The bed was a bit firm for my personal taste, but I still got an OK nights sleep. I do realize that everybody's taste is different. I had to laugh when I saw the Jacuzzi tub. It was heart shaped. That tells me that this "spa suite" doubles as the honeymoon/romantic getaway suite. The Jacuzzi tub was amazing! It filled up quick, and it was so absolutely relaxing. My body was just melting away. I sat in that thing for almost a half hour, and when I got out, I went to sleep very quick. My only regret, is that I didn't have a special someone to share it with. (for those of you who have met me, I apologize for putting that image into your brain. Please, I beg of you, let it go... LET IT GO...... :) Circus Circus is a nice property, like the El Dorado and Silver Legacy, it is a Caesars property. The casino is nice, they have a midway with lots of fun games for the kids, and also live circus acts. There is plenty to do. There were also random 1 way escalators scattered about which was off The actual elevators in the main lobby were a nightmare. No matter if there were a lot of people or nobody, they would take forever to come down (and I believe one was broken). There was a time in particular there were 20-30 people all waiting around for the elevator. I asked an employee where the stairs were (since I was on the second floor). It took two employees to even figure out if there were stairs, and then I had to wait around for security (who never came) in order to go up them. The room, while decently clean and modern, was missing hand soap, and the AC rattled extremely loud when the compressor would turn on. I finally figured out I could jam a pillow in between the bed and AC to keep it quiet. Throughout the stay, the front desk people were very unhelpful, either not knowing anything, or just saying "yeah I can't help, go ask the bell hop". The only saving grace was the midway, which while expensive, was a nice little break for people like us with little kids.
