They close at 2pm and will not check their emails until the next day. I was told this over the phone by their staff. They said they will try to update the site to say this (who knows how long that will take). I made a reservation the day prior at 6pm for a morning dive at 8:30am. I have made many evening reservations before at other dive centers, and I have never had a problem. I received a confirmation email with instructions to show up at 8am for the dive. Unfortunately, no one showed up. I waited until 9:30am and did not see a soul. I ultimately received an apologetic phone call at 10:30am where the employee subsequently informed me of the 2pm rule. I am sure this dive center gives amazing dives. However, it is a shame that such a great dive shop has such a misleading platform that lets you reserve a dive that may not be available. I sincerely hope this review helps them add a line on their website that warns users from reserving dives after they close at 2pm.

We drove through winding roads, some very narrow and steep. We passed by hundreds of mango trees that were all ripe and falling of the trees right in front of us (month of May) so we pulled over and grabbed a bunch. We saw beautiful homes on the edge of mountains and wonderful views. This drive was an adventure. Once we arrived to the actual beach, I was surprised that it was small, and not as pretty as some other beaches, nearby and around the island. The actual area surrounding the beach was pretty cool with several bars, restaurants, and pretty things to see. So, I wouldn't recommend this beach over any others on the island of Puerto Rico, but I loved my drive getting there. Fun.

We first signed up for the 2 hour kayaking/snorkeling excursion. Got to the beach 15 minutes early as requested and were introduced to our guide Seth, given a bin to stow our backpacks, then given a long sleeve SPF 50 shirt and bottles of cold water. Seth took a little time explaining where we'd be headed and what to expect then we were off! The water was calm and clear and Seth guided us over to Steps beach which is a primo snorkeling site. Hanging with Seth for a couple hours was like having a friend take you along on what he loves to do best - explore the incredible underwater world. He pointed out various species of fish and took really cool videos which he later shared with us. His priority at all times was that we were safe in and on the water and that we were having fun! We were so happily impressed we came back to give paddle boarding a try...once again Seth gave us a helpful tutorial and kept an eye on us while we paddled about. Do yourself a favor and check this place out - you'll be so glad you did!

We did almost all of our activities during our vacation with Verdeazul because we knew these guys…read morewere the best. We did the river and ocean paddleboarding tours, and two surfing tours. We had Adrian and Giovanni for the tours and just had a blast! They really treat you well and accommodate the tours to your style. It's like your just hanging out with some old friends. Your not just doing these awesome adventures - we also learned about the Puerto Rican culture, ancestry history, and they gave great restaurant recommendations. We rented a car but some other people on our tour group were picked up by Verdeazul for the adventures. Adrian even helped us get connected to a vet when we found a sato (Puerto Rican slang for a street mutt)! We have the most memorable memories from this trip thanks to the guys at Verdeazul! We strongly suggest booking something through them and would recommend it to all our friends and family. We stopped for a bit at a swing and the kids had a blast. Some dude told confronted Brian about some permit, which brian told me later they of course had, but Brian played it cool and let the man say his piece and he went on his way.
