Today I had the pura vita açaí bowl. It was great as always. Fruit was fresh and the granola and honey just sets the entire bowl off. The price is alittle steep, I add pineapples to my bowl and it came to $14.xx then they swirled the screen around for me to select a tip. I don't understand why I'm tipping your doing your job to make bowls

Superb Acai and Pitaya bowls with great friendly service in a fun, cheerful dining area. The fruit toppings were extremely fresh and tasty.

Grew a beard in the time it took them to make a drink. I'm not even a man. Drink was fine tho.

I love playa bowl. Its a great healthy way to kick start your day. I alsowa feel great and have a ton of energy for the day adter having a playa bowl. My only concern is they have a rewards app but with having to order ahead the staff isnt really informed on how to give credit for your points on the rewards app so ive ordered numerous bowls at this point and missing out on rewards. The app needs upgrading but in terms of the physical location and bowls they are great!

Can't go wrong with anything on the menu at playa bowls ! I love creating my own , the acai base and coconut base our my favorite and adding peanut butter on top is always a move. The last time I went however I placed an order on the app and I got an email that it was ready , so I went up to the cashier and they told me they didn't have my order and they didn't believe me that I had actually ordered something. So I had to go back to my car and get my phone and show them the receipt. They seemed very reluctant to then make my bowl, but didn't even make it right away. I had to wait atleast 20 minutes (which was 30 min after it was supposed to be ready originally) So In conclusion the food is great but the service is not.

This place is really great. So many places that make açaí bowls serve the base thin and melting. Playa Bowls does an excellent job at blending their bases to make them thick, smooth, and icy. It didn't melt at all! I tried the Pura Vida bowl with banana slices added and the Tropical bowl. Both were awesome and best I've had outside of California. Can't wait to go back and try more.

I was so excited to finally try this place-their bowls on Instagram look amazing. Their menu is huge and many of the items look like things I definitely hope to try but I decided to go for one of their seasonal bowls, the Gingerbread bowl. The acai was infused with a little ginger (so good-i was surprised I liked it as much as I did). I really hope to be back to try more of their yummy bowls. The bowl was really filling too so it definitely suffices for a full meal. I even had a small amount left that I saved for later! Only negative is the parking is metered so you have to pay even just to run in to get a bowl to go because you could get unlucky and get a parking ticket even after only a few minutes

Playa Bowls just opened in downtown Wayne, and it is a hit with everyone I've spoken to. I just had to try it, based on recommendations. I love juice bars, smoothies, and acai bowls. There are many juices, smoothies, and bowls to choose from....or you can customize your own, which is what I did. I chose the acai base, strawberries, blueberries, and granola on top, with peanut butter drizzle. The ingredients tasted very good and fresh. The PB tasted natural. I was so full at the end. My bowl was about $9. This is a little expensive to get everyday, but it was a fun treat on a hot day. My mom got a chia seed bowl. She said that it was pretty tasty, but wasn't quite as impressed with the chia seeds as I was with my acai bowl. She did agree that the fruit and granola were really good. The only downside was the seating. All of the seats are high barstools without a back. The tables are high, but not high enough for your knees to fit under the table while sitting on the chairs; this makes for an awkward side sit....my mom was not a fan. I'm guessing it's because they don't want you lingering? However, some normal seats would be nice so that you can enjoy your expensive treat. I will definitley go back again, although I probably will just take my bowl or smoothie to go instead of sitting on those uncomfortable seats. I definitely recommend you try the place; it's a great healthy choice while out and about in Wayne.

This place is a perfect balance of healthy but tasty food! I wish they didn't use plastic bowls and spoons though!

Unfortunately, I wanted to love Qing Mu sooooooo much. I so badly wanted this to be my go-to spot…read morefor nearby sushi because there really isn't one close to me unless I want to drive into Media. The owners and staff are amazing and so friendly. They are extremely nice over the phone, upbeat and trying so hard to provide wonderful service and to simply make your day. This place has all the hallmarks of the most wonderful little Chinese/Japanese corner spot, family-owned, and small, where a repeat customer would eventually become known and their voice and face recognized immediately whenever they call or show up. All the photos and other reviews that steered me here had primed me for an amazing experience and my hopes were so high and I was ready to finally find THAT place that I could order from consistently for delicious, quality, fresh sushi, close-by.....but alas! This was sadly not the case. Everything I have said about the staff and the place are 100% outstanding, and maybe I was here on an off-day. Or maybe something was wrong or it was busy. I have no way of knowing. I will definitely try here again and change my opinion if I am nearby in the future. However, my order of chirashi was simply just one of the saddest and disappointing that I have ever had. The fish was not fresh, or at least not what I would consider fresh enough for sashimi cuts, there was barely any variety or color pop, no vegetable or greenery to offset, and I could not detect any rice dressing at all for the rice base for everything to sit on. Part of chirashi is the presentation, and while that's not a large part of the flavor, it's a large part of the impression. It did not look good, and very unfortunately, it did not taste great either. It was bland, extremely fishy (which I have no problem with), which denotes a lack of freshness, and had a slimy layer to it which it should not. I do feel like I should have ordered something else, like something in a previous photo or review, and that part is my mistake, but if it's an offered menu item, I would expect it to be just as good as their other dishes. The miso soup though, was great! Good flavor, tons of seaweed, and big soft chunks of tofu, which I love. Eventually, I will try Qing Mu again, possibly when the sushi itch strikes again and I don't feel like traveling far. Or possibly for traditional Chinese-American dishes. Who knows? I don't ever want my experience to end with a place that is so wonderful and inviting and caring about their customers to be such a disappointment when they obviously care so much about those they serve. If you are in the Havertown area, check them out, you may have a very different experience, but for now, definitely stay away from the chirashi.
