My newborn and I met my friend (who is about 8 months pregnant) for lunch today at Oasis Juice Bar. I did not know that they do not have any indoor or outdoor seating available. We went ahead and ordered the PBJ smoothie and walked around the corner to Acme to sit and drink them. We sat in the Acme food court with a gentleman who was pouring cans of beer into his coffee mug... I guess he was also enjoying his liquid lunch. Oasis Juice BAR certainly has the square footage for indoor seating or maybe even a bar (?!) so I'm not sure why they don't. Oh well, now we know. As we were walking back to our cars in the sweltering heat we both noted how we needed to use the restroom. We stopped back into Oasis to see if my (very pregnant) friend could please use the restroom and the lady wouldn't accommodate her. She told her that Acme has one. Well, we just walked back from Acme and it is about 90 degrees out and she's incredibly pregnant - so that wasn't ideal. Luckily, the RE/MAX office two doors down allowed her to use their restroom. Long story short, I was a bit turned off by my experience and doubt I'll be back. If I'm going to spend over $7 for a smoothie it would be nice to have somewhere to sit and enjoy it and know I can use the restroom if need be!

This place has the worst hours ever. The hours stated on yelp are incorrect... this place has never been open when I've come to try it.

I love their bowls, while the price is a few dollars more than your average fast-casual restaurant, you'll get much fresher REAL food that you won't get at your from an $8 sandwich shop. I had been craving Playa Bowls ever since I got back from my beach trip (wishing I was still there...sigh). I tried to visit the Newark, DE location the night before - after a 25 minute drive I pulled up to a sign on the door saying 'we are closed for maintenance'! The next morning I bumbled down to Wayne, PA for my first visit to this Playa Bowls location. They were much faster and friendlier than my usual stop down the shore, even during my 11 am visit on a Saturday... My Chila Tella bowl with vanilla vegan protein was as perfect as I could have expected. As was my girlfriend's strawberry banana smoothie which soon became 30% mine. My only frustration was that the staff was unsure how to use their own app - I showed them the QR code of my Playa Bowls rewards card, as the app says to, and the employee had no clue what to do with it. Nor did any of the other two ladies working. They took my phone number instead, and my points never showed up. Again, it's certainly not the end of the world but this is just something I would've expect them to be trained on. All in all, I have always had fairly good experiences at Playa Bowls. They're one of my favorite places to eat out, especially when I need that beach-away-from-beach vibe. Hope to go back before the end of the summer... more like the end of this week.

Service was great but I just don't understand the lack of portioning around here. I used to go to a…read moreplaya bowls on the Jersey shore and just moved here. No matter which playa bowls I go to in this area I receive almost half the amount of base that I'm used to receiving. For almost a 15 dollar bowl I just expect a bit more than what's here.

For anyone with food restrictions, this is such a nice cafe/coffee & tea/catering/grab & go and…read morebrunch place! The staff are beyond kind, friendly and approachable. This location is larger than the ones I've seen in Bryn Mawr and Ocean City - very spacious rooms with many tables for 2-6 easily. To be honest, I would come here for a meet up with friends, I could bring my kids here, and my husband just did a quiet day of work here. I would even consider a bridal or baby shower kind of event here too if they offer it. It's adorable, clean and has a warm atmosphere with tasteful design. Allergy alerts are posted on all premade food: nut, dairy, wheat are all labeled. They even sell wine and fun drinks, great gifts for girlfriends, home chefs, and host gifts. I'm coming back for the pies, frozen appetizers and cookies/scones. This is perfect for party planning and guests! If you're tired of ordering takeout, making the same thing for dinner or meeting friends at Starbucks and First Watch, get over to ANEU!

Thrilled to find a coffee shop with cinnamon syrup for hot lattes! Plus, fantastic breakfast…read moresandwiches. Such a lovely seating area and fun gift items. Friendly gal waited on me. Hit or miss on the take-options for me. Coconut Curry Soup was so spicy (turmeric & ginger), it made my stomach hurt & more of a broth than a soup. Like drinking a health shot warm. GF Morning Glory muffin was dry but delicious warmed w/butter. GF chocolate chip cookie went straight in the trash: dry, tasteless and hard. Love the Mexican Chocolate on-the-go bites. It's pricey health food and I'll be back to try other options. I'm glad it's close by!

I strongly suggest coming here!…read more They have an extensive menu that has something for everybody. My family all ordered different things and agreed that we had a good experience. I have a sweet tooth, and they had so many healthy options I knew I would enjoy. If you don't normally crave healthy foods, this is the best place for you. I was excited when looking at the menu, not disappointed (which is rare for me and health-based restaurants). The ambience is so uplifting and it's decorated so nicely! It seems that they are going for a West Coast vibe, and as a life long Californian resident, they nailed it! Just seeing the storefront and walking in improved my mood. Finally, the customer service was stellar. It was very personal and I felt welcomed and comfortable despite having never been! It really felt as though I was a regular customer. Everyone was so so friendly! I'll be on the lookout for a location in California!

My 1st time here, I'm glad I had a gift certificate, but still feel it was wasted. I have another location near my home, I will try that one in the future. I ordered the Buddha Bowl -a WARM bowl with no tomatoes due to a medical dietary restriction, but not an allergy (thankfully!) I posted my receipt to indicate I ordered "no tomatoes" yet you see from the picture I have a pile of tomatoes on my order. I took it back to my office and scooped them out. A small annoyance, but fine, this did not affect my star rating. Let's get to the actual bowl. I ordered a warm bowl for many specific reasons. The young lady gave me my bowl. It was wonderfully overstuffed to the point that you couldn't even get the lid on it. I'm thinking, "bonanza!" She offered me another lid to try, I wasn't able to carry it out because you could not snap the lid on. I said no worries, I will sit & take a few bites to eat it down so I can get the lid on. I took one bite of the chicken and it was ice cold, nearly frozen. Maybe my teeth are extra sensitive, but this was the coldest bite of chicken ever. Beyond refrigerator cold. I'm hammering home how cold this chicken was because I turned my neck to look up to make sure I ordered a WARM bowl! That was an instant turn off, I took the dressing out and I was able to get the lid to fit at that point. While I'm driving back to work, I call my wife to ask her if she would like to take this bowl and she laughed at me and said no thank you. (we work at the same place.) When I think I'm getting a warm bowl, for me that means warm protein. Even if I have a salad, I want my protein to be warm. I guess that's my very personal preference , but it was disappointing. It's not meeting the expectation. But that's STILL not even why I'm giving it three stars, lol. The reason why I'm giving it three stars?? The bowl was not good! I would never order this again or anything like it. The bowl is this very deep and heavy serving of riced cauliflower. Way too much cauliflower for the small amount of toppings. It's basically cauliflower and greens. The cauliflower was warm. But also 100% bland, as in not seasoned in ANY way. It's astonishing. As if shows like Chopped and TOP Chef don't exist where chefs are criticized about their lack of salt and lack of seasoning. This is why I'm giving it three stars. I cannot in good conscience overlook that this tastes like you're in the hospital and you're on a restricted diet. I don't understand who eats this food. Chickpeas out the container, avocado sliced out of its skin, tomatoes out the container, cucumbers out the crate, and cauliflower out its package. Then you assembled it and gave it to me. What am I paying for? What are you selling? Your ability to assemble? No salt or pepper, lemon juice, olive oil, seasonings, herbs, spices- you did not do anything to any ingredient! I had to get dressing from a colleague because even the balsamic vinaigrette that comes with was bland. I'm going on and on because I'm frustrated with establishments taking money for doing the absolute minimum. You're a restaurant, you need to actually do something to the food, or don't offer it. Stick to the fruit bowls! And I will try that with the remainder of my gift card balance. Now I have to figure out how to choke down this terrible bowl that was supposed to serve as my lunch and dinner. I'm just really aggravated. If you made it this far, thank you for following my rant to the end. I was just venting at some point but oh well, here we are.
