My son started here during the pandemic and I can't express how amazing they were through it all. They have turned his grades around in a matter of a couple of months. Christina and Lisa conquer the front end. Also the therapists are all amazing. Very friendly and welcoming. They treat you like family. They have truly taken an interest in Michael's well being and his goals. I highly recommend this office for occupational and speech therapy. We have been to other therapists which were great but never truly felt at home until we found Lake Speech and Language Services.

Every staff member I've encountered here has been nothing but extremely kind and knowledgeable. We…read morerelocated from GA and were looking for a Speech therapist to work with our 5 yr old ASD daughter over the summer so she would continue to progress. Will worked to get her started as soon as possible and was my main point of contact in the setup process. His level of communication went above and beyond to keep me in the loop about start dates, eval, how visits would go, billing, etc. Many times when I first speak to new offices or schools/programs about my daughter they get right down to business - insurance info and what goals they want to achieve in what time frame. But not Lake Speech. The first thing Will told me was that this office's main concern was building trust and lasting relationships with clients to help them succeed. That is the main reason I wanted them to work with my daughter. When the concern isn't how many words they can get her to parrot back in a month but the concern is how comfortable she is in the process, you know you have a winner. Most front office staff in other places I've encountered would treat clients with such indifference and business like but I have NEVER felt that at Lake Speech. Cristina and Kim have been amazing, sweet, and so helpful and they all run that office smoothly like champs. Cristina remembered personal conversations I had in passing about my grandparents and always asked how they were doing and when my grandmother passed away a few weeks ago everybody offered sincere condolences and accommodated my daughters therapy schedule to meet our family's needs at that time. You can be assured that if they don't accommodate your schedule it is simply because it's not possible - but they will always try to do whatever they can to meet your needs. Tatiana was my daughter's therapist and was more than I could've hoped for. She was literally so patient, sweet and biggest smile welcoming my kid every time she saw her. She had ideas after every session about what they worked on and what we could work on at home to continue progress. I saw my daughters attitude change like night and day. It started with my daughter crying hysterically on her first few days because she was afraid of a new place to me not being able to get her out of that place! If I would show up 5 mins early to an appointment she would be in the waiting room crying and knocking on the door wanting Tatiana to come get her early lol Even though she can't communicate it with words, I know my daughter will miss her very much. Today was our last day here, as we are relocating back to GA in a couple of weeks and they gave her parting gifts and hugs and she literally said "happy birthday?" because she thought all the love must be her birthday but it was just amazing people showing my kid that she would be missed. I knew I couldn't wait to put this review up because I wouldn't want to forget to give this office a shout out. These people are all so wonderful and I really hope anyone trying to decide where to start their child's therapy ends up here. You won't regret it!

I absolutely recommend Little Tesla Pediatric therapy to all families seeking therapy services for…read moretheir children. My son has been a part of LT for a full year now and truthfully this review is overdue because Little Tesla has exceeded my expectations from my first contact with the clinic when I first had general inquiries as I had to search for local therapies as soon as my son received his Autism diagnosis. I remember my sons psychiatrist gave me 3 pages full (front and back) of local clinics, and Little Tesla was the ONLY clinic that was thorough, and detailed as well as providing additional peace of mind as this was going to be my son's first exposure to an open social setting outside of home. All that to say my son now attends ABA 4x a week with included Speech & Occupational Therapy. At first we started with only Speech Occupational Therapy as there was just a small wait list to be established in their ABA program. We waited roughly under 3M as we joined in the summer time, and by August my son was already enrolled. I'd like to specifically highlight the care of the RBTs, my son and our family has had the pleasure of working with such as Nate, Dina, Naire, Anna, Marie, Jaz, Angelique, Amanda, and Kirstie. Gosh, I forgot the names of the few others we've worked with in passing, but they are all truly amazing individuals who have reassured me that they take great care of my son while supporting him fully during each session. I'd even go as far as saying that they have felt like an extension of family, as they've grown to really love my son too (it's hard not to since he's so bubbly) but for all of the RBTs you can tell they love what they do. In the full year my son has made AMAZING progress. I can confidently say my son's speech has improved, as well as both his social and behavioral development. Ms. Joyce I'd also like to give credit to as Emory's speech therapist, she has the most kindred spirit, and because of her my son can speak in fuller sentences now, identify himself, state his address etc. I could sit here singing their high praises for hours, but aside from the RBTs that work with my son everyday. The administrative staff, management, BCBAs and owners are all incredibly kind, and personable! Just to drop some names Aleema, Jasmine, Ashley, Andjela, Victoria, and Vesna. These ladies have now a special place in my heart because they all are so compassionate in their approach, never mind the clinic itself, with the recent expansion I was blown away to see how the new clinic goes above and beyond to provide even further support for daily living skills, behavioral, social needs and more! LT has become our home away from home and I leave my son here 4 days a week with full faith and trust in the entire staff here because they are truly amazing. Thank you thank you thank you.

We met with Shaina Proctor, Supervising Speech Pathologist. This is the Supervisor in charge at the E Colonial facility. I immediately knew something was off with this location as she asked my daughter (not my son who needs speech therapy) a variety of personal questions like where my kids sleep, etc. We then entered a very small room (smaller than my closet) and she made a comment about my son being (rude and inappropriate word to say in front of my children). I let that go, but was already in shock. Then she asked several questions about where he lives and who he lives with. Then she asked, 'is he always this (rude and inappropriate word to say in front of my children)?' I have never in 9 years of being a parent encountered a 'professional' that was as rude as Shaina Proctor. My son sees doctors regularly and is registered in programs due to his disability. I have also worked with children with disabilities for 10 years. To any parent of a child with a disability or even minor disorder, I can verify 100% that talking like this to and in front of a child is not only unprofessional but extremely unhealthy and damaging. Please know not all professionals are AT ALL like Shaina Proctor. It was horrifying, quite frankly. I have never heard a complete stranger talk in this manner about my child, let alone someone we were going to for professional services. When I asked if it was a problem for her, her response was that she 'can't diagnose him with anything'. In total confusion, I told her I wasn't asking for a diagnosis, I was asking if she has a problem with my son. She had no answer. She did the '...uh..I...uh..." and I told her point blank I will be letting First Choice Pediatrics know that no child should ever be referred here. In the middle of my sentence, she picked up her phone and began texting. Shaina Proctor was unprofessional to a degree that absolutely blew my mind. If any of this sounds ok to you, then by all means take your kids here. As a para-professional and Mother of two children, I would move to another state before having no other option than to use this facility. For the record, our amazing therapist that retired loved my son and was a bright light in his life. She was in the OCPS school system and a speech therapist, no special placement with special needs, etc. Just a good person who also used many fun activities to encourage and give my son the most amazing personalized experience in speech therapy possible. He made tremendous progress with her in just 7 months. The small closet with zero stimulating activities he was brought into in this facility is laughable in comparison. That's a side note to accompany the disgusting overall experience we had.

Well, nothing "happened" but it's an overall observation on their operation as a whole. We dealt with one therapist at speak easy solutions and he was ok, scattered and unprepared, but in his defense the scheduling is absurd! Patients are scheduled every :30 minutes which obviously leaves no time to take notes on the session before you move on to another patient. No one remember that much specific information over the entire course of the day. It's not possible. I've had two of my children speech therapy over the last eight years, so I've been through the hoops more than once with this. Or as they say not my first rodeo! Speech evaluations in the past have taken anywhere from 1 to 3 hours to complete and required an additional 1 to 2 weeks for a report to be scored and generated. When I took my son to speak easy for his first visit the amount of time scheduled for the evaluation was 30 minutes... Yes 30 minutes. OK fine so maybe he had some insight from previous reports, but 30 minutes isn't much time to even establish a rapport with a kid. So, basically the place seems like a machine that just chews through therapists. Everyone looked pretty young that worked there and they all unquestionably looked completely worn down and overworked. We shall continue looking for a quality therapist. The scheduling is impossible to provide adequate care, especially when your co-pay is $40. I wouldn't send any of my friends there and we certainly won't return either.

They said they will call the new insurance company and let me know how much is cover. Fast forward two months later they didn't verify anything.
