READ RECENT REVIEWS, not the older ones. I'm shocked at the negative reviews from 4+ years ago, but…read morealso I've been going to Cannizzaro Integrative Pediatric Center for just the past two years. My experience has been absolutely wonderful and if you are looking for an integrative pediatrician, I truly believe you will not find anything better than this practice. Staff - I adore all of the staff at CIPC. Dr.C was incredibly intelligent and kind. Debi and Gail, the NPs are super sweet and take time to explain everything. Mel, Wendy, and the other nurses are a wealth of knowledge and remember patients on a first name basis! Ear infections - I want to highlight this because its so significant to me. CIPC rarely ever prescribes antibiotics for ear infections. You know why? Because most ear infections can be solved by a quick chiropractic adjustment to drain the tubes. When my oldest son, 4 months at the time, presented with redness and fluid in his ears, our previous pediatrician gave him a dose of antibiotics. When that didn't solve it, they wanted to give him ANOTHER dose. Nope, moved over to CIPC and after one look, then sent us to an integrative chiropractor. Within a week, he was perfectly healed! We now go proactively once a month to get both of my kids ears adjusted and neither of them have ever had an ear infection! We started full time as patients after that. Service - the service in my opinion is the best of the best. Every appt is 30-60 minutes long! Most ped offices give you 10-15 minutes tops, so this is unique. They take time to hear your concerns, address them, and solve medical problems by getting to the root cause of the issue instead of just writing a prescription to mask symptoms of underlying disease. They are always available - my youngest son (6 months) is currently sick and I've called nearly every day to speak to a nurse. They always take my call, spend time on the phone with me to hear my concerns, and help me out with either an appt or OTC recommendations. This practice is more boutique-style, so there is a $100/month charge for your children to be a patient there. But to me, it's 10000% worth every penny. Vaccines - this may or may not be important to you, but I love that they start their *optional* vaccine schedule at 6 months instead of 2 months. This gives time for the gut micro biome to become more established before starting vaccines and the detox process. Additionally, they prefer to vaccination when your child is healthy. When my oldest was 9 months old, he was due for a vaccine, but when I brought him in, he had a mild temperature and a little cold. It was advised we wait until he is 100% healthy before giving him the vaccine - amazing. All other ped offices would have given it to him anyways, potentially making him feel worse. We came back 3 weeks later when he was healthy and it was a quick in and out 10 min appt for the shot. I LOVE CIPC. I started at another very popular ped office but was discouraged when they kept prescribing my son antibiotics and medicines for seemingly minor issues. My two boys (toddler and 6m old) have never had to be on any antibiotics or prescription meds since joining CIPC. Every ailment has been solved with a natural, integrative approach and for that, I'm eternally grateful.

All claims backed by documented emails, messages, and medical records. I am posting this review to urge parents of special needs and nonverbal children to exercise extreme caution with Success on the Spectrum (SOS). We unenrolled our child after state child protective authorities conducted an in-person home visit regarding an active investigation of reported mistreatment at this location. For a nonverbal child who relies entirely on adults to keep them safe, the lack of clinical oversight and basic transparency at this facility was unacceptable. Our child repeatedly returned home with their packed lunch completely untouched because staff failed to offer meals throughout the entire day. My child also came home multiple times with unexplained injuries that were never documented on incident reports, including a severe injury that required medical staples. In addition, staff repeatedly restricted my child's personal AAC speech device, ultimately returning it to us with an unauthorized passcode lock that left them unable to communicate at home. Daily sessions lacked therapeutic structure, with passive tablet screen time used in place of programming, while administration repeatedly refused to provide our requested clinical data. Professional boundaries and supervision were severely compromised, including administrative leadership directly observed ordering alcoholic beverages during off-site field trips while responsible for supervising clients. Management also consistently imposed inflated, non-itemized fees for these outings and pressured families to use state scholarship funds to cover the excess costs. Explicit parental directives regarding staffing assignments were disregarded, and advertised security cameras were frequently unavailable. We have fully documented these issues through saved emails, text logs, and medical files. I strongly advise families to seek a safer, more transparent ABA provider.

Dr very nice and sweet but asks leading questions when given a sample of the brand name and a generic prescription for migraines, she asks if the brand name works? I said "yes it does" so she only documents that in the progress note and nothing about the generic that she already gave me 36 pills for prior, so THAT is why the nurse tech assumed correctly that when I called for my migraine medication refilled, she initiated a request for the brand name medication I had only 2 sample pills of prior. This then began a long insurance process unbeknownst to both myself and the Dr, however, when I asked to cancel the prior auth for the brand name and just refill my generic migraine meds, he continues to say he will "put a request in and ask the doctor for a recommendation". I explained that's what I had been advocating for & that it's been 3 weeks of back and forth phone calls while I'm working with these debilitating migraines. The office manager states that he "doesn't know what I want" and he will be discharging me with a 30-day prescription for the generic migraine meds I INITIALLY ASKED HIM FOR at the beginning of this 20-min conversation. Will try to push the prescription name brands of medications just to receive a kickback even at the expense of the patient. Shameful. I profusely THANKED him for doing the wow-so-difficult service of sending my prescription migraine medication so I can stop this pounding in my head and not have to jump through hoops because his nurse tech "didn't know" better. The patient is suffering and their lack of care and regard to save face and ego is shameful.
