I've seen Deenah since I moved to Florida in 2015. I have never had a negative experience with her. I feel like she always listens to my needs and concerns, and she's very respectful of my desire to stay off of stimulants for my ADHD. She has helped me find medications that work well without me having to endure the negative side effects of stimulants, and for that, I am thoroughly grateful. This practice seems to be mostly holistic in their treatment, using the least amount of medication possible. That's exactly what I was looking for, so it's the perfect place for me.

One additional bit on info that really made my decision to call and make an appointment was that the pharmacist said she really liked the way Dr. Napolitano prescribes appropriate medications at safe dosages and said she has not once in over ten years of working at the CVS in Dr. Phillips felt hesitant to fill a prescription from Dr. Napolitano. She could not say the same about the psychiatrist I previously had.

My daughter's annuals are super easy because they get right to the point and focus on my daughter. They are always happy to answer and concerns I have but it is so nice to run through the appointments smoothly. I have been to other offices where the NP just had a generally slow pace about them and it drove me crazy! It is evident that staff cares for each other and I have seen this extended towards my daughter several times even in the MA's interactions with her. While signing in there was no greetings, my children were new patience and I didn't receive any paper work until I returned to the window to inform the rude receptionist that we were new patience. She has no social graces. Once taken back the M.A. was wonderful and I thought, maybe the receptionist was having a bad day. But once the Nurse Practitioner came into the room and started judging me for being a single parent and telling me how I should and should not raise my children, I quickly realized this was not a good office for my children or myself. After all the rude remarks from the N.P. I opted to give my children the Hep A vac. and the nurse who injected my children wouldn't even converse with them in any way, shape or form, She didn't answer any of my questions and then barked at me to hold my children down or she will have a nurse do it for me. Needless to say, it was the most outrageous Dr. visit my children or I have ever experienced. Upon leaving I wanted to discuss my disappointments and concerns, but there wasn't anyone to be found to talk to. I called and left messages for the office manager, but there was and still is no response. Except for a call back from a nurse who wanted to argue with me and who didn't want to hear any of my concerns. Her theory was the "it's a business" and nothing was done incorrectly. Save yourself some time and just avoid them altogether.

My physical therapist, Alison Burnham, is the clinical lead and was wonderful to work with. I've have PT for my back a few times over the last several years after being severely rear ended a few years back and again more recently, and have been to different AdventHealth Sports Medicine & Rehab locations each time. My most recent occasion at this location with Alison was by far the best - she is attentive, engaging and seems to have a great holistic understanding of ways to help and heal. I've also done therapeutic massage over this past year with the massage therapist on site, Daniela, which has also been really great. She focuses on problem ares well, notices if something seems to be causing pain, and is incredibly caring. I recommend this location, and especially these practitioners, for physical therapy and therapeutic massage to all!

Their patience with children is nonexistent, which is shocking for a pediatric office. The front waiting area is uncomfortably cold and unwelcoming. I truly can't stand coming here and will be moving to a different provider. This is the only medical office I've genuinely disliked in a long time--and we've had to switch a few due to insurance changes. To top it off, I was told that if I don't give vaccines, my child could die. Unbelievable that offices like this still operate in today's world.

I was pleased to see they had numerous openings and I was able to schedule my appointment at a time convenient with my schedule. I was greeted with courtesy and professionalism upon arrival, and the check-in process was easy and quick. The clinical medical assistant was friendly and welcoming and best of all, the doctor I ended up seeing, Dr. Mena, was exceptional! She was communicative, attentive, and an excellent listener and made my visit feel as if it were "tailor-made". Overall, my interaction with those I encountered (front desk, medical assistants, the doctor, and laboratory techs) were positive. Best of all, I later found out that this clinic is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the community with passion, compassion and integrity, all of which were evident during my scheduled visit.
