Receiving payment seemed more important than my child's speech development, especially considering it was discovered that she was moderately deaf since infancy which explained the delay. She underwent surgery making these sessions even more necessary. Twice services were suspended; once without my knowledge, the second until I paid the balance of the account. I attempted communicating with the director countless times and NEVER got a call back. I had insurance that was fully responsible having met my OPM and they had already paid for some services so it wasn't an issue of if they would pay, but when. They billed me and the insurance and left it to us to figure out. The experience and lack of response caused me to simply take my business elsewhere. I worked diligently to ensure my insurance paid them and washed my hands of them as it seems this director did of both my child and my self months prior to this conclusion.

I was very concerned that he would not Want me after receiving a bottle. Dr. Beckman was cheerful, humble, knowledgeable and very positive that 1) baby was born knowing how to latch on to me...we just needed to remind him. And 2) baby should have no problem switching back-and-forth between nipple and bottle it was just a matter of strengthening the muscles that were weak. That was such a relief for a first time mommy. She went though a series of simple tests and gave us exercises to practice. Three days later he had his first decent latch. And ever since then it's been getting better and more consistent with longer stretches of time. We are not even two weeks since our visit with Dr. Beckman and today we've done more breast-feeding than pumping! Dr. Beckman and associates are professional, friendly, and prompt. Her process is backed by science and research, and carried out with kindness and compassion. I would highly recommend this office. Baby and I are forever grateful.
