I felt like the 2 months I spent at the previous clinic was subpar with their evaluation- the handling of my records & their attention that they paid to their clients. Plus I am not into getting copious amounts of drugs for pain management- I want to be back to my normal active self, which means putting in hard work at physical therapy. Jewett wants specifically to get you better - not prepare you for a lengthy law suit. That's what I needed - I wanted to physically get myself better from a horrible near death car accident - their first goal is to get you better & work through the pain, not mask it or placate it with drugs. I gave this same Dr. a try without bringing my husband with me to the appt. without discussion I was assigned five X-rays the back in the waiting room. Discussion with Dr. was limited about my case, he spent most of the time asking me questions about mental health, my husband who is old never had one question about his mental health. The dr never examined me and told me I needed surgery. The lack of exam and extended questions about my life left me cold. Left and went to Mayo Clinic and was treated like a real patient.

So knowledgeable and skillful and compassionate. He worked me out so hard so I can reach my goal. I can never be thankful enough. Save yourself the time and just go to another local Urgent Care…read more After my experience, I do not recommend the walk in clinic at all and regret not going to a different specialized Orthopedic Urgent Care in the Winter Park area. I it's too bad, everyone kept saying how Jewett was the best, but I totally disagree and can think of other places I should have went to be seen. Your images from your visit will never be reviewed by a radiologist and you'll leave with more questions than you walked in (and wait in an empty waiting room for over two hours) with. If you have an obvious fracture that's run of the mill then this probably works, but if you want more pain after imaging (a lack of toe standard images needed to exclude the condition you're worried about) and no results on your X-rays from a radiologist or MD, then you should come here! I don't think I'll ever be back to the walk-in clinic and am truly unhappy with my experience here... And I still have almost two weeks to wait until a Doctor can see me (which will be 4 weeks out from my injury with no definitive diagnosis from the ED or the walk-in clinic)! That's ages when it comes to Ortho care and it's crazy a simple condition can't be properly evaluated and diagnosed... :/

Not having experienced anything like this, I didn't know what to expect. Scheduling was a breeze. I arrived to my first appointment and was taken back to a room after filling out some paperwork for my initial evaluation. My physical therapist, Dr. Bastian, is a godsend. He was thorough in my initial evaluation and listened to my concerns intently and had a ton of helpful information to ease my mind about everything I am going through. I have had several sessions so far and every time I leave, I feel a bit more encouraged and confident. I trust that with his help and my hard work I will recover from this terrible injury. I will definitely be looking forward down the road when I can update this review when I am healed up! Regarding the facility, upon walking in, it is one large room with the front desk to the left and gym to the right. It is well kept and everything is disinfected after usage. Employees are masked.

Bill helped get me started with my warm-up and the exercises I needed. He took the time to clearly explain the benefits of each exercise and how they would help with my recovery. When I arrived I was greeted immediately, taken to my room and all my paperwork was already done. They hooked my head up to the electrical system and I was ready to be monitored for the 5 days. During the course of the 5 days I was treated with such kindness EVEN FROM THE NIGHT CLEANING STAFF! Honestly, everyone is so KIND! They hired an amazing diverse group of employees and even under the circumstances it wasn't really bad. I was even more surprised that someone actually cared what I ate! NO LIE... a really nice girl came by each day to take my order from a regular menu.
