I was there for two separate visits knees and hips and both times I told them I did not want to…read morereceive as many x-rays as they forced me to get and if it was osteoporosis or osteoarthritis they really didn't need to get six or eight x-rays of both knees and both sides of hips, so now I'm getting an excessive bill because they said the doctor would not see me unless I took ALL of those x-rays. When I contacted my insurance company they told me I could refuse, some of them, & I didn't have to get that many x-rays. It's also not good for ANYONE'S health to have an excessive amount x-rays. For this reason my family and I are NOT recommending Orlando orthopedic Center, in Oviedo.

Appointments were easy to schedule - three of four kids seen back to back. For a mom of four kids, that is a lifesaver. He has a calm and jovial manner, he is thorough and has no problem answering questions. You would think that's all you could ask for but our experience has been astounding. Dr. Selsky found a heart murmur in my son that was missed by his previous pediatrician. We were shocked and very worried. But Dr. Selsky is incredibly thorough. He does not do generic referrals. He will refer you to a specific doctor at a specific location and he has stayed right on top of our child's diagnosis. Our child needs a heart cath procedure and Dr. Selsky is in full contact with his cardiology team. We feel he may have saved our sons life and definitely saved him years of worse medical issues. We thought that was fantastic. We've felt so lucky to have him and then today we had to call the after hours medical provider. Imagine my surprise that it is Dr. Selsky himself. We are blown away. In the middle of a COVID-19 outbreak, I've been very careful about taking my elderly father to…read moremedical appointments. I've gotten used to the temperature checks and screening questions before we're allowed entry, the no-touch electronic check-in's and clean/dirty pens, my having to wait outside in the car while my Dad is seen. I am a registered nurse. At Motio yesterday there were no temp checks nor screening questions. The receptionists wore only face shields, not masks. A receptionist came within 2 feet of my seated father and talked as she handed him an iPad and stylus (I told her I wasn't comfortable with her being so close and she stepped back a little). I watched a patient come inside without a mask (the patient was asked once inside to don a mask). I later saw the same patient in an exam room talking with a staffmember while not wearing a mask. We ended up walking out without being seen by a doctor.
