I had already called billing many times before, and even Liza from the Heathrow Lake Mary office told me previously that I did not have anything to pay. The problem is that their office failed to explain things clearly from the beginning. Instead of helping me understand the bill in a kind and professional way, Jessica was rude, dismissive, and kept blaming me by saying that I should know my insurance coverage and responsibilities. I was not calling to argue -- I was simply asking questions because I received conflicting information from their office. What made the situation worse was Jessica's attitude. Rather than apologizing for the confusion or trying to help resolve the issue, she told me that if my lawyer already paid it, then it was no longer her problem and that I needed to contact my lawyer myself. That response was very unprofessional and not helpful at all. Patients go to Ability Rehabilitation because they are already dealing with physical pain, stress, anxiety, and emotional struggles. Staff members, especially in billing, should know how to speak to patients with patience, kindness, and compassion. Unfortunately, Jessica's behavior only increased my stress and raised my blood pressure. Because of my experience with Jessica, I would not return to Ability Rehabilitation and would not recommend it to my friends or family. Physical therapy is not only about helping patients physically -- the way patients are treated emotionally matters too. Honestly, even giving Jessica 1 star feels too much. If there was an option, I would give zero stars for the way I was treated.

I had never considered something like this to supplement my Medicare covered PT. When I contacted my insurance company they told me I could refuse, some of them, & I didn't have to get that many x-rays. It's also not good for ANYONE'S health to have an excessive amount x-rays. The Employees are Wonderful! I can Honestly say that going to Physiotherapy Works has changed my life. I thought that I'd never be able to regain the stability that I lost after having multiple knee surgeries. Their Physical Therapists and Interns from UCF are Phenomenal! They took the time to understand my individual needs, then created a program to address it. I've been seen many times for different reasons over the last two years; they've given me the exercises and made sure that I understood how to do them at home using bands and home objects. Their Physical Therapists use their ingenuity when creating a program that can be started at the PT office then transitioned to home exercises with adjustable difficulty.
