This place is literally Magic (it's where the Orlando Magic practice). It's also a world of Pure Imagin'-nation (sorry Gene Wilder) with MRI's and X-Rays. The best part is, you can park underneath, so when it's rainy out, you're good. Except you STILL have to go outside for a bit to get in the front door. The staff here was over the top friendly. Everyone from the security guard downstairs (the imaging stuff is on the 2nd floor) to the Front Desk staff to the people running the MRI tests. While I was "in the tube", I was constantly asked how I was doing and given updates on how long each test would take. That was a first for me as usually you just zone out to all the cool noises. I'd strongly consider coming here again if my local location is filled up with appointments. I'd just need to be mindful of traffic.

After wasting six months in basic rehabilitation clinic with no end in sight, I am super grateful to have made the switch to AdventHealth Training Center. Let's start with the important stuff. Their diagnosis took one appointment in which they were able to figure out not only a crucial condition standing in the way of me and full recovery but also diagnose weakened balance. The team at AdventHealth hadn't even receive the charts from my previous physical therapist. Whereas my previous physical therapist didn't pay attention until I kept complaining about randomly falling and had one big fall three months into treatment. The AdventHealth team knows how to push based on pain levels and don't hold patients back from breakthrough. There is one staff that is simply unprepared and not focused while training. However every work environment needs the coffee pot warriors and if you explain a therapist isn't working for you to Tammy the boss lady up front she will relay that message and it will be remedied! Keep in mind depending on your insurance there is a significant copay while training. However can you really put a price on being pain free and your body performing at its maximum proficiency?

All of the employees I came in contact were friendly and eager to help. The only thing I can say is the physical appearance of the building could use updating but that is the only thing that I could even begin to speak negatively about which isn't a big deal because it wasn't dirty, just outdated. I appreciate the quality of customer service they provide.

There are like 4 or five concrete buildings, along with tents and pavillions, and everythign is super-controlled. If you're in the worng area, or doing something you shouldn't, trust me, you'll know. Which is actually a good thing, especially since there's generally chaos at these types of places. The good: Get here, sign this, wait, get out: I hate health departments, so thank God they have a fairly intricate process where they basically process you by number and you are in and out in an efficient manner. The Bad: Wait outside: I had to endure an almost 3 hour wait...outside in a tent. Yeah, it was quite uncomfortable, especially in the heat, and I didn't really like being shoved into a tiny tent with about 100 other people Wait in the hallway: After we were done waiting in the tent, we had to wait for about half an hour standing in a hallway. Seriously! Wait in the waiting room...with no seats!: by the time you get to the actual waiting room, there's nowere to sit, and it's pretty freaking stuffy. For all it's annoying waiting procedures, I was happy overall with the Central Health Center. I mean, I got done what I needed to get done, which is more than I can say for my experience at the SouthSide health department. Overall 6.1/10= Heavy Handed Health

The anesthesiologist did not bill for a year so we didn't even know we had any bills left and then we received a bill for $1000 which if it was in Network would've been zero. We then had two family members have a colonoscopy in the last year also at this facility. The doctor was in net work the facility was in Network but the anesthesiologist again was out of network. We were billed $500 for each Colonoscopy and we're also not billed for nine months after the test was done. We were not informed that it was an out of network provider and they are now demanding payment. It is the facility that sets up the anesthesiologist so they are responsible for not using the proper provider for our services and not informing us of an out of network provider. Therefore I would not recommend them to other people and I would not use their services as they are not upfront and honest with their providers and insurance claims which leaves the customer owing large bills.
