Except when I first wrote a review for my journey had not yet evolved to where it is today. In 2021 I can't begin to explain the emotional duress I was under. Smiling on the outside but so much pain, burden, and stress on the inside. I had been rear ended by yet another distracted driver and all the fears from a car accident that happened in 2017 flooded in like a wave. This along with physical pain and discomfort had me in terrible state of mind. In 2021 I was fearful while driving and experienced full panic attacks when another vehicle was someone was following too close. Slowly but surely I was able to manage a lot of my fears, hang on to sobriety, and the pain was manageable. I owe all of this solely to Integrated Wellness Center because my doctors were not concerned with addressing the emotional injuries and unknowingly Spinal Network was calming my nervous system. It wasn't until I attended "The Spinal Network" course Dr Scherrina offers, that I begin to really comprehend the work being done during treatments. Calming the nervous system, feeling the connection of my spine and brain, and being the moment of feeling every nerve ending during adjustments. It truly is an out of body experience when you learn to let go and open up to feelings we often block out. This invites movement and allows the body to release stiffness. Immersion is a whole other animal. Dr Scherrina offers this event twice a year and it sells out fast. Please let them know Alexis L sent you if this review helped you take that first step. Immersion is an intensive Spinal Network treatment going through the 12 stages of healing. Filled with grounding, journaling, and even a healthy lunch. This event would be great for you to continue treatment or jump start your intro into spinal network! Keep in mind Spinal Network does require work on the patients part and I highly recommend understanding it fully with your end goal in mind to make every treatment worth it. This is considered an out of network treatment so you will need to pay out of pocket or through your health savings plans. He got me on a great plan and I'm now over 9 weeks in. The office staff has been really helpful as well with making my reservations. There's never really a line they're pretty quick with what they do. This office is a little bit away from my house but it's worth the drive because of the care I receive here. The difference in my body is amazing and I'm getting back a lot of the balance that I had lost over the years. I work with David a few times and the different techs there. All of them are really knowledgeable and have a good understanding of how to help. The exercises can be a bit much at times but it's exactly what I need. Someone needs to make sure that the physical therapy and atmosphere is enjoyed by everyone. I hope the management takes note and ensures the music is not too loud or offensive in language in the future. Musical only (no lyrics) would be best!
