I was pleased to see they had numerous openings and I was able to schedule my appointment at a time convenient with my schedule. I was greeted with courtesy and professionalism upon arrival, and the check-in process was easy and quick. The clinical medical assistant was friendly and welcoming and best of all, the doctor I ended up seeing, Dr. Mena, was exceptional! She was communicative, attentive, and an excellent listener and made my visit feel as if it were "tailor-made". Overall, my interaction with those I encountered (front desk, medical assistants, the doctor, and laboratory techs) were positive. Best of all, I later found out that this clinic is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the community with passion, compassion and integrity, all of which were evident during my scheduled visit. I would highly recommend them and their team of doctors!

It was such a lovely and wonderful event that included varying activities, panels, and open discussions on varying topics involving mental health and wellness. The event was not only engaging but enriching. We were left with a feeling of being truly affirmed, heard and most importantly, SEEN. For women, living in a "man's world," it is vital to have spaces where we not only feel safe, but we must also have the opportunity to be heard and seen! So, I thank the 26Health crew for creating a space to be heard and seen! In addition to that, I also got to learn a bit more about 26Health and their impact within the community. The staff were amazing and kind. Again, I felt safe and welcomed and more importantly I learned about a healthcare provider in the community that helps all regardless of insurance status. They offer STD/STI testing, free of charge. Free birth control options (like condoms). Free test strips to test for drugs, etc. They also offer mental health wellness programs and solutions. While I cannot personally speak to the quality of care provided if you attend 26Health as patient, I can at least note, that based on the event I attended, they put the utmost care and respect into all those they work alongside with. I'll definitely be recommending them to peers (or just anyone I know) looking for an affordable alternative to healthcare and mental wellness in the local Orlando community.

This office is one of the few osteopathic practices that takes insurance in Orlando and I drive from across town to go here. I started having health complications in the summer of 2021. At first, I was seeing Dr Herschberger and then switched to Dr Pellett when he left. Dr Pellett has been through quite the journey with me! After seeing multiple specialists, we finally discovered that I have Lyme disease, and I am now in treatment by an infectious disease doctor. Dr Pellett is knowledgeable and really cares about her patients. I would often bring in research I had found to discuss since my symptoms were unusual and proving difficult to resolve. A lot of doctors don't respond well to that, but she always listened and gave great feedback. I enjoyed having the osteopathic treatments each visit, which helped relieve pressure and pain associated with my issue.

Dr very nice and sweet but asks leading questions when given a sample of the brand name and a generic prescription for migraines, she asks if the brand name works? I said "yes it does" so she only documents that in the progress note and nothing about the generic that she already gave me 36 pills for prior, so THAT is why the nurse tech assumed correctly that when I called for my migraine medication refilled, she initiated a request for the brand name medication I had only 2 sample pills of prior. This then began a long insurance process unbeknownst to both myself and the Dr, however, when I asked to cancel the prior auth for the brand name and just refill my generic migraine meds, he continues to say he will "put a request in and ask the doctor for a recommendation". I explained that's what I had been advocating for & that it's been 3 weeks of back and forth phone calls while I'm working with these debilitating migraines. The office manager states that he "doesn't know what I want" and he will be discharging me with a 30-day prescription for the generic migraine meds I INITIALLY ASKED HIM FOR at the beginning of this 20-min conversation. Will try to push the prescription name brands of medications just to receive a kickback even at the expense of the patient. Shameful. I profusely THANKED him for doing the wow-so-difficult service of sending my prescription migraine medication so I can stop this pounding in my head and not have to jump through hoops because his nurse tech "didn't know" better. The patient is suffering and their lack of care and regard to save face and ego is shameful.

Because of this, I was now considered a new patient and they wouldn't be able to see me until their next new patient opening which was 6 weeks later. What?!!!! I guess this is punishment for staying healthy all year. Lol! I reached out to friends via Facebook and someone recommended PremierMED. I called immediately and they said they could see me the following morning. The facility is immaculate, the staff is very courteous, my wait time in the waiting area was literally seconds. I saw the NP who took her time with me. On a different occasion, I called PremierMED to schedule an appointment, but their lines were busy, so I left a message. Someone called me back a few minutes later to schedule an appointment. They were able to get me in the following morning. This practice continues to impress me.

Prior…read moreto check-in, I was sent a long set of forms to fill out to better analyze my situation and make the payment process faster. The front desk was very kind and quick. The waiting room was very small. It was full and everyone had to sit with each other, felt a little like we were on top of each other. That's my only gripe, but the building was beautiful and there isn't space to expand the waiting room because of the individual rooms. In the individual room, it was decorated with the consciousness of being serene. The lights were dimmed and only lamps, no overhead lights. The window also had opaque drapes that aided into the ambience. There were multiple chair options to sit on, and all comfortable. My doctor reviewed my previous form I filled out and asked some follow up questions. She was able to diagnosis me faster than all the doctors I've seen in the past 6 years. She was very knowledgeable about the meds she wanted to start me on, and very patient in answering my questions and concerns. She took my concerns into consideration and very much seemed genuinely concerned about me getting the best outcome. She offered counseling services as well, but I opted out. Check out was very quick as well and friendly. They offer telehealth visits after you initially visit in person.

Being with the practice for more than a yr. they decided to part ways with my counselor(s) and never notified me. I went to my appointment only to find out that the management parted ways with my therapist several weeks before my appointment. They have a professional responsibility to their clients to notify them and make them aware of the situation and help find them another therapist. This happened to me TWO times with TWO therapists. They NEVER called either time. They didn't care about me as their client but they are quick to charge you no matter what their professional responsibility is to the client they want your money. They would not give me the contract info for either therapist.
