I was very concerned that he would not Want me after receiving a bottle. Dr. Beckman was cheerful, humble, knowledgeable and very positive that 1) baby was born knowing how to latch on to me...we just needed to remind him. And 2) baby should have no problem switching back-and-forth between nipple and bottle it was just a matter of strengthening the muscles that were weak. That was such a relief for a first time mommy. She went though a series of simple tests and gave us exercises to practice. Three days later he had his first decent latch. And ever since then it's been getting better and more consistent with longer stretches of time. We are not even two weeks since our visit with Dr. Beckman and today we've done more breast-feeding than pumping! Dr. Beckman and associates are professional, friendly, and prompt. Her process is backed by science and research, and carried out with kindness and compassion. I would highly recommend this office. Baby and I are forever grateful.

As she was not getting better, I continued to seek help for her. We were referred to your practice for speech therapy to help with her cognitive function. The first time I met Michelle, I knew she was in great hands. She took her time explaining everything she would do and why it was important. She was so thorough that I didn't have any questions after our first visit. My daughter has really enjoyed working with her and has stayed positive throughout her recovery all because Michelle is such a joy to work with. She actually thinks it's fun to go to speech and appreciates the relationship Michelle and she have built. She even took the time to give me a complete update last week and made additional suggestions for helping her with her schoolwork offering support and communication to her guidance counselor if needed. She evaluated him, came up with a solid plan of what he needed and we got to work. She would come to our house for his sessions, which was convenient but also productive for him being in his "safe place." She not only made great progress but left us with "homework" so we could work with him outside of therapy to accelerate his progress. Jennifer is nurturing but also firm/direct and gets results (she is great with kids). My son loved working with her. Communication is horrible when communicating with parent, short notice on schedule change (24 hour…read morenotice-very short notice), not flexible with patient schedule, no solution with compromising when someone take a leave of absence or vacation for patient to have continuous services while therapist is out-speak to owner and advise I manage the business and therapist set they own schedule and availability and patient needs to work around their schedule , very short sessions of 30 minutes with no flexibility of longer sessions, the patient is the one who keep you in services therefore it should be more professionals when doing business.
