I absolutely recommend Little Tesla Pediatric therapy to all families seeking therapy services for…read moretheir children. My son has been a part of LT for a full year now and truthfully this review is overdue because Little Tesla has exceeded my expectations from my first contact with the clinic when I first had general inquiries as I had to search for local therapies as soon as my son received his Autism diagnosis. I remember my sons psychiatrist gave me 3 pages full (front and back) of local clinics, and Little Tesla was the ONLY clinic that was thorough, and detailed as well as providing additional peace of mind as this was going to be my son's first exposure to an open social setting outside of home. All that to say my son now attends ABA 4x a week with included Speech & Occupational Therapy. At first we started with only Speech Occupational Therapy as there was just a small wait list to be established in their ABA program. We waited roughly under 3M as we joined in the summer time, and by August my son was already enrolled. I'd like to specifically highlight the care of the RBTs, my son and our family has had the pleasure of working with such as Nate, Dina, Naire, Anna, Marie, Jaz, Angelique, Amanda, and Kirstie. Gosh, I forgot the names of the few others we've worked with in passing, but they are all truly amazing individuals who have reassured me that they take great care of my son while supporting him fully during each session. I'd even go as far as saying that they have felt like an extension of family, as they've grown to really love my son too (it's hard not to since he's so bubbly) but for all of the RBTs you can tell they love what they do. In the full year my son has made AMAZING progress. I can confidently say my son's speech has improved, as well as both his social and behavioral development. Ms. Joyce I'd also like to give credit to as Emory's speech therapist, she has the most kindred spirit, and because of her my son can speak in fuller sentences now, identify himself, state his address etc. I could sit here singing their high praises for hours, but aside from the RBTs that work with my son everyday. The administrative staff, management, BCBAs and owners are all incredibly kind, and personable! Just to drop some names Aleema, Jasmine, Ashley, Andjela, Victoria, and Vesna. These ladies have now a special place in my heart because they all are so compassionate in their approach, never mind the clinic itself, with the recent expansion I was blown away to see how the new clinic goes above and beyond to provide even further support for daily living skills, behavioral, social needs and more! LT has become our home away from home and I leave my son here 4 days a week with full faith and trust in the entire staff here because they are truly amazing. Thank you thank you thank you.

As she was not getting better, I continued to seek help for her. We were referred to your practice for speech therapy to help with her cognitive function. The first time I met Michelle, I knew she was in great hands. She took her time explaining everything she would do and why it was important. She was so thorough that I didn't have any questions after our first visit. My daughter has really enjoyed working with her and has stayed positive throughout her recovery all because Michelle is such a joy to work with. She actually thinks it's fun to go to speech and appreciates the relationship Michelle and she have built. She even took the time to give me a complete update last week and made additional suggestions for helping her with her schoolwork offering support and communication to her guidance counselor if needed. My daughter has played volleyball for 7 years and thought she would play throughout high school and hoped to play in college. At this point, she likely will not return to the sport she loves so much, which was a really hard pill for her to swallow. Because of the connection, respect and compassionate care that Michelle has extended to her, she is still smiling and working to get better. This is what Whole Care means to me and I am so grateful for the care she has received. I commend you for your leadership and having the best speech therapist in town!

I felt that our baby was being handled with care. We were given clear directions and were even allowed to record the session! The office was very clean & they even offered complimentary coffee/tea/flavored water, etc. The price was very reasonable, and I felt we got our money's worth out of the appointment. It felt like a genuine experience and I'm thankful for direction on how we can help our baby at home with exercises.

I was very concerned that he would not Want me after receiving a bottle. Dr. Beckman was cheerful, humble, knowledgeable and very positive that 1) baby was born knowing how to latch on to me...we just needed to remind him. And 2) baby should have no problem switching back-and-forth between nipple and bottle it was just a matter of strengthening the muscles that were weak. That was such a relief for a first time mommy. She went though a series of simple tests and gave us exercises to practice. Three days later he had his first decent latch. And ever since then it's been getting better and more consistent with longer stretches of time. We are not even two weeks since our visit with Dr. Beckman and today we've done more breast-feeding than pumping! Dr. Beckman and associates are professional, friendly, and prompt. Her process is backed by science and research, and carried out with kindness and compassion. I would highly recommend this office. Baby and I are forever grateful.

I stayed here for a while in 2018 after spending months at Orlando Regional Medical Center,…read morefollowing complications from surgery. I will ask Yelp to update the name of this facility. I suspect Westminster Care is the name of their parent organization as this facility is called Delaney Park Health and Rehabilitation Center. While I was there a major construction refurbish was ongoing. Among the upgrades was the addition of two large therapy rooms. I see them on their website and they look terrific. Unfortunately, they were restricted to using a former patient double room during my stay. It wasn't ideal, but they made it work by scheduling patients at staggered times. The therapists, both Physical and Occupational, were all great. Not just in planning and carrying out my rehab plan, but in their flexibility as well. I required wound care at that time, with an open wound that often seeped through the dressings and leaked. If that problem caused me to not be able to leave my room at my scheduled therapy time, they would let me come down as soon as I was able, or on days when I was room-bound they would come to my room and work with me on bed exercises. I can't say enough about the therapists, and now they have their long-awaited new therapy rooms. As for the skilled nursing side of the equation, you have a range of skills and attitudes, as with any medical facility, either hospital or post-hospital care. Andrea, the Director of Nursing, and Amy, whose title I forget now, were both wonderful, skilled and caring. And Andrea can sing! I knew I could call on either of them if I had a problem that needed more attention than from a nurse or medical tech. As for the nurses and techs, that is where the usual range of skills and attentiveness come in. There seems to be a natural drop off between the day and overnight shifts. Then again, there is a lot more foot traffic overall during the day, what with visitors and active patients, so it follows that there are fewer bodies to get things done. I was in a double room, which was an adjustment after the private rooms at ORMC. Especially since my roommate was a rather unpleasant long term resident, over 90 years old, who swore a lot and was vile to the nurses, before periodically turning sweet after his temper explosions. He not only always kept the curtain closed between us but also kept the window shades closed, so I never got to see the outside. More motivation to wheelchair myself outdoors, I suppose. Normally the double rooms are not such an issue, I imagine. I just drew the short straw. The food was fine, though they offered two main choices and it seems I didn't get to choose my selection most times, unless I checked out the menu a day ahead and wheeled down and knocked at the kitchen door. Mostly I didn't bother. There was a nice outdoor lounge area with bird feeders nearby. But the construction limited the view, and the smoking area sometimes made it harder to enjoy as I was limited at how far away I could sit from them. So while the wound care could have been more consistent, overall I think this is a facility that really tries. It is part of a non-profit organization, and that can't be easy from a budget standpoint. I stayed briefly in a different rehab facility before this one, until an emergency sent me back to ORMC, and I must say that Delaney Park rates higher for me.
