This facility & these two therapists have been nothing short of amazing for my son & his development. Their rapport with him has created a safe, loving space for him to learn. He adores both of them, leaping out of his stroller to go "play". That's an important aspect to emphasize: this does not feel like visiting a doctor or grinding away at language drills. It's very much play based making it so enjoyable to kids. The facility is set up with a wide variety of activities from table work to pretend play to a sensory room to an indoor gym type space complete with a swing. To give some measurable results, my son came to therapy at 18.5 months with about 2 words & 3 signs. I just started a running list to keep track of his current words & progress. After 4.5 months of working with Lauren & Alyssa, he now has 42 words & 7 signs! It brings me so much joy as his Mom to see him being able to express his thoughts now. It felt like a genuine experience and I'm thankful for direction on how we can help our baby at home with exercises.

I was very concerned that he would not Want me after receiving a bottle. Dr. Beckman was cheerful, humble, knowledgeable and very positive that 1) baby was born knowing how to latch on to me...we just needed to remind him. And 2) baby should have no problem switching back-and-forth between nipple and bottle it was just a matter of strengthening the muscles that were weak. That was such a relief for a first time mommy. She went though a series of simple tests and gave us exercises to practice. Three days later he had his first decent latch. And ever since then it's been getting better and more consistent with longer stretches of time. We are not even two weeks since our visit with Dr. Beckman and today we've done more breast-feeding than pumping! Dr. Beckman and associates are professional, friendly, and prompt. Her process is backed by science and research, and carried out with kindness and compassion. I would highly recommend this office. Baby and I are forever grateful.

As she was not getting better, I continued to seek help for her. We were referred to your practice for speech therapy to help with her cognitive function. The first time I met Michelle, I knew she was in great hands. She took her time explaining everything she would do and why it was important. She was so thorough that I didn't have any questions after our first visit. My daughter has really enjoyed working with her and has stayed positive throughout her recovery all because Michelle is such a joy to work with. She actually thinks it's fun to go to speech and appreciates the relationship Michelle and she have built. She would come to our house for his sessions, which was convenient but also productive for him being in his "safe place."
