First and last time was this evening. Parents beware, the prices are so high because of the company's overhead. There were THREE managers on duty, but none of those young ladies with very little customer service experience could explain or fix the fact that I was charged $26.50 for nonsense. Like arcade chicken wings shouldn't tasted as good as restaurant wings, but there we are. My son enjoyed his corn dog, and it was not one of the cheap ones. Only small knock is they don't tell you from the getco that all you can play video games is only two hours, and that you can't actually earn any tickets. Which makes sense, because you can totally game tickets, but it should be upfront. The place was pretty sparsely populated for a Sunday, and clean and enough staff and this place is massive. Only downside is probably if you wanted to do some rides there'd be nobody to do them with. A rainy day off of school meant we needed to find some indoor fun. I took 3 boys (ages 7-10) to play games, ride go carts and do laser tag. They rang me up for $140 which included a lot (or so i thought) of video game tokens, 3 go cart rides and 2 laser tags. 5 minutes later all 3 boys told me they were out of tokens...say what! And so I had to refill the cards over and over....and don't want to even know what I spent on these overpriced video games. Minecraft seemed to be the favorite game, which they warned me at the front takes up a lot of tokens. If i did the math right i think you can play about 4 times for $20, which is just ridiculous. The friendly go cart staff told me the best deal was to buy the no school special of unlimited laser tag, go carts and climbing wall for $30, but they hadn't informed me of that when we checked in. However, after a lap around once was enough for these boys since these cars went slower than my 98 year old grandfather on the streets of Florida. They said laser tag would have more fun if there were more people, but it was a small groups of them and a few other kids. I was actually pleasantly surprised that it wasn't more crowded on a rainy day off of school. When it was time to redeem the tickets the woman behind the prize table couldn't have been sweeter or more patient. In fact, I dedicate a star of this review just to her! She helped the boys pick out minecraft cards and even gave an extra tootsie roll. Thank you! We hadn't been here since before the pandemic and after an underwhelming expensive day not sure I'd come back anytime soon, but it did solve the challenge of where to go on this gross day. read more

Never again- booked my daughters party here and it was a shitshow starting with check in- we checked in and they only checked in my daughter and gave her a bracelet- then told us to wait to the side- when our party hostess came she told us we all needed to go back to the counter cause we should have checked in the kids individually already- which makes sense- just don't know why the first person didn't tell us that and made us wait. Half the games didn't work- the toddler section had a lot of down rides and games as well, two kids in the party didn't have a working gun for lazer tag so it wasn't any fun for them. Pizza and cake were fine- party host was friendly. I signed up for the birthday package to do lazer tag and go karts- our group was bigger 13 kids and the kids waited in line- they asked if they could all go together but there wasn't enough cars- so they were fine with splitting up the group- the kid working the area told them to get out of line and he would accommodate them. They were literally next in line so I'm not sure why they had to leave the line- He never came back and when I asked him why they had to get out of line and when they would be able to go he told me "I don't know we are pretty packed tonight". But they were next in line so it doesn't make sense- by that time the party was over and kids had to go home. Kids took their cards to cash out for prizes and the scanner to count tickets didn't work. Shocking.. so now no go karts- no cash out from the games. I spoke to the manager and he completely dismissed any of my concerns. I paid for a package to include two activities- he told me I can just come back any other time and use the card for go karts.. That's not the point. We don't live in the area and I'm not packing up 13 kids to come back and go to on go karts when I paid for a certain package for them to do that day. We will not be back. Clean and organized...but you will pay for the quality of the place. Yep, the price does add up. 45 minutes of inflatable fun: $17.50 per person (weekday price). Then, add on $50 of arcade time. BUT...it is worth it in my opinion. I got to sit and chill in the super-clean food area and relax. My kids knew where to find me and it was right by the bathrooms (also clean). This is a Pepsi establishment and they serve alcohol! White Claw, Modelo, Bud Light, Heineken, and some unique bottled beers to name a few. Beware, when using your debit card at Play & Spin, use cash only. If your card is charged twice by their system due to an error, you will not receive a refund at all. They ripped me off without a trace of remorse. Manager assistant Jose mentioned that he could not print me out a receipt because their system was down, but he mentioned, if I was charged he would personally refund me. Despite Jose's promises, I didn't receive a refund. When I call him, he played confused and avoided me. In my inquiry to Play & Spin Manager Patrick, he attributed the problem to technology, asking how the system could act in that manner. PJ, aka Patrick, told me to send him an email of the charges on my card and the date I arrived. l sent him substantial proof via email. Even a few pictures of me and my family at the establishment. It took him a while to reply back to me. Thus, I sent another email regarding his excuses, avoidance and the dishonesty of the company. He replied to the same email thread and claimed that he had never received any proof. In conclusion, Manager Patrick and his assistant Jose are dishonest individuals. After three weeks of being ignored, I contacted my bank. My card was closed and I was refunded. They also mentioned that it was theft because Play & Spin took more money off my card than they should've. I paid $52 for play credits and they charged me an extra $25.91. Literally the biggest regret of any birthday party I've thrown was when I decided to do it here. My kiddo was turning 9 and we invited his whole class and bunch of family and friends. Spent over a thousand dollars. We were promised three activities and time in the party room. Well they were extremely overbooked and it was chaos. No one could tell us who our party coordinator was, apparently they called us for one activity that no one heard and when I went to ask someone they said you guys were already called and now you can do it after two hours. I said that's the time we have reserved for the party space to eat and they said don't worry, we'll make sure you can eat. Pizza was served cold. Drinks weren't refilled. They didn't put out enough plates, cups, napkins, anything. Before we could even cut they cake they started telling our guests we have to leave. I begged to please let us at least cut the cake and quickly serve it. They didn't give us any cutlery to serve it. They couldn't figure out who said what to us and when I showed the manager the person who promised us enough time to have our meal, she went and spoke to her and then came back and said oh we were talking about something else. She couldn't give us any reason why we things turned out the way they did and did nothing to rectify the situation. I didn't want to argue with anyone so I literally just asked her, do you think what happened with us was okay? Are you comfortable with this experience we had after spending over a thousand dollars? Inside this large building, you'll find an arcade, go kart track, laser tag, restaurant/cafe, and a mani/pedi spa. You read that right. This place has the adults in mind, and that's a relief. There's some couches that you can lounge around in, if you don't want to chase around your kids! Like other game places, you'll have money loaded on to a card for you to swipe to your heart's content. There's not an overwhelming number of games, but what is available is fun and in good shape. Air hockey table too! My kids and I had the most fun with the go karting. Be sure to tell your kids not to bump each other because the race will pause if karts get jammed up. Play and Spin has a whole lot of different things going on. This cavernous playland located in a warehouse building is located just north of Harlem on Caldwell in Niles. There is a huge parking lot and plenty of room for the kids to run around. The kids activities are the star here with a full arcade, go kart track, laser tag and party facility. The games are all newer than most of the other arcades and actually pay out a decent amount of tickets. The prizes are pretty attainable and my two kids left happy with their winnings. The go kart track is pretty nice, but you need to be 54" to drive. There were about 5 party rooms in the back and plenty of seating. The curve ball here is that they also have a nail salon in the complex. It is actually right inside so you can get your nails done while the kids play. It is wide open so you can keep an eye on them - which I suppose is nice. Pricing was $25 for a mani/pedi - which is a great price, but I have no idea if the manicurists were any good. There is also a full service sports bar with a dozen or so TVs and a projector screens. There is a concession stand / restaurant that serves up some decent food. It was better than I expected and everything came out quickly. The pizza was OK - but for the price it served its purpose. We had a groupon for a large pizza, 4 drinks and $20 of tokens for like $28. We only needed another $10 of tokens to keep my 2 kids happy. Check this place out if you want to grab a lunch and let the kids burn off some energy on a gloomy day. read more

John wanted to come here to play with some of his soccer buddies. I brought 3 of his buddies and the experiences was not the best. I told my girlfriends about what happened and they told me to leave a review on yelp. One thing good is the salads are amazing and don't contain that many calories lolllll. The place is sorta clean but that's not why they are getting a one star. The management is so bad well I only had a problem with one. There was this blond manager at the front desk. She had a lot of sarcasm and attitude towards me and one of the buddies....this is just plain disrespectful as someone who is spending money at this overpriced place. It's fairly nice we got a Groupon deal it was pretty good. We had the $49 Groupon that included one $30 play card with 160 tokens to play games. Two large pizzas with a choice of one topping and eight drinks with refills. A Groupon deal lead us to this Niles location that just opened last September 2017. Groupon was about $29 for one 16 inch pizza, 4 drink cups with free refills, and $20 game card (equals to 80 credits). This place reminds me of the spacious, less crowded game arcades and rides of Kiddie Kingdom and the closed location of Party Time Palace. This establishment also holds private parties that divides off the party room from the food concession stand, which gives a certain privacy off the public view. Free parking at their private lot. What sets this place apart: 1.) kids can play while the adults can opt for a special rate of a manicure and pedicure for $24 total! There's other services for the nail salon as well. 2.) There's a height and age requirement to drive solo for the go kart racing ($7), otherwise an adult can drive while the child is shotgun with a pretend driving wheel. Ride total time: 4 minutes. 3.) There's a kids eat and play menu, about $8 with the meal with small fries along with a free $5 game card! The kids get to eat and have extra game play! 4.) Of course, there's a sportsbar as well! My daughter is finally old enough to enjoy the go kart racing; she was scared during her first few experiences. My 13 year old niece enjoyed her manicure; she felt pretty and grown up with her french manicure. read more

This place just opened recently (Oct 2017) and gives parents anotjer option to nearby places like Chuck E Cheese and Kiddie Kingdom. The place is huge, with arcades, ping pong tables, a go-kart place, laser tag (coming near the end of December 2017), and even a nail salon. It's a good concept -- they want to appeal not only to kids, but to adults as well. Kind of a one-stop place for the entire family. But like the jack of all trades and expert of nothing, Play and Spin is mediocre at everything. Play And Spin uses a gamecard format. No hassles of tokens or coins. Personally, not a huge fan of said format, because you'll always end up having a few credits stranded in your card, as there are predesignated credit/$ denominations that you must purchase, on one of the two designated kiosks. We opted for the $30 option, as it gave us an additional 16-credits. They had several games, like Jurassic Park arcade, Pacman, and many games (skeeball, basketball, some ball-dropping in a bucket game, etc) that spit out tickets to redeem prizes at their gift shop like area. The concept is pretty cool -- instead of spitting out tickets, it keeps track of it electronically with your card. For my 10 and 7 year old, they were pretty much just fixated on Jurassic Park, and not much else. My kids didn't care for the Go-Karts... from what I can see, they go rather slow. I know this isn't F1-racing Go-Karts, but I would say they go at a speed of a bumper car. Regardless, there was a decent amount of kids/adults partaking in the fake driving. In another room, they have a more "adult" like atmosphere, with a bar and ping pong tables. In the middle of the main area is the nail salon, and further down the hall, past the bathrooms, is the party area, where you can host a birthday party or what-have-you. Overall, I wasn't too impressed, neither were the kids. But kudos for this place for trying. I may come back here to try out their laser tag, but as far as the games, I'll pass. Extremely overpriced. $15 to jump in a bounce for 20 minutes. What kids jump for only 20 minutes??This is roughly triple the price of local trampoline parks that give you an hour for $15 and are much bigger in size. Anyhow the bigger issue was the manager who was on duty that had zero customer service skills. The inflatables time limit apparently recently changed from 45 minutes to 20 minutes and the change was not noted on the website or in certain areas of the actual business which still displayed 45 minute sessions and felt like a huge bait and switch. My kids were upset to be kicked out in less than half the time we were expecting. I get when a business makes errors like forgetting to update the info but when I approached the manager about the businesses failure to communicate the appropriate pricing and time limits, he literally shrugged his shoulders and blamed me for not reading my receipt clearly enough (which is funny because the receipt just says "inflatables weekday" with no mention of time, so his rebuttal didn't even make sense) rather than accepting accountability for posting false information in multiple places. When a customer is upset most managers try to defuse the situation but he did the opposite and really escalated things. Another employee stepped in and handled things with more appropriate customer service which did salvage the afternoon for my kids, but I refuse to support a business run by a manager like that and will not be back. read more

My family and I came in with 9 accumulated prepaid go kart passes from previous visits, and then purchased $30 worth of arcade credits to run around with. 9 go carts = $72 120 credits = $30 We've been here for party packages but haven't realized how costly it was for al la carte. 5 minutes in with 6 arcades each kid they quickly blew through almost half their credits on an average of 4 credits per machine. So we took an interim period for go carting to find out we couldn't even ride it because we all had open toe shoes on during this 100° weather. Upon entry there were no signage of CLOSED TOE SHOES requirement nor NO REFUND, but the owner insist that they're not at fault and that I must accept responsibility for not reading the fine prints on their digital liability waiver on a busy Saturday with a line behind me. The SHOE sign was up by the go cart and the NO REFUND was posted on the exit cash register, yet my request for resolution was denied because of a matter of principles??? He said to come back another time to use the passes and that I didn't lose on anything. This is quite deceiving... if these signages were up upon entry we wouldn't have spent another moment or additional money here until we came back with proper shoes. I guess that's their bait idea... spend the money on the arcade as you step into the door and come back another time for the go kart and spend more money that day too! After a net total of 15 minutes my kids left with credits on their card and uninterested in their selection of toys to redeem. BEWARE: Now that I'm clear about their policies, restrictions, and owner customer service, which was a complete disappointment... I know now that the value of my dollar and time spent with my family could stretch further elsewhere. We went to mini golf afterwards for 2 hours and finally had our fun quality time for a fraction of the cost. If you are like me looking to fill your family time with value there are plenty of other places nearby, other suggestions would be Dave n Buster's, Chuck-E-Cheeses, Altitude trampoline, or Pioneer Park mini golf/batting cage. Tip for the owner- if you are not going to have signs up at the entrance and then talk about principles, then the least you can do is train your employees to disclose information. However, managers like John will say, "There's a glitch in the system and we just caught it in time." Then there's an honest employee who admitted to me this bigger party just reserved the whole facility for more than 100 people which sure beets my party of 12 kids. bought a play and spin voucher for the location on 7631 North Caldwell. I went there within minutes of buying it. i presented the voucher and was told they do not honor them. They also said that when they had to shut down for the pandemic they asked groupon to stop selling these vouchers. Contacted Groupon on Saturday March 6th. Their response was that they contacted the management and they are honoring the groupons. That is not the case. groupon refuses to refund my purchase. Play and spin refused to honor it. I will be taking my grand kids elsewhere in the future! read more

Variety of modern games for all ages including racing games, basketball, skeeball, shooting games, ticket games, air hockey, claw games, and riding games. They also have Laser tag, VR, go karts and a simple nail salon. Laser tag was fun for kids and adults. For the adults, they have gambling type games, ping pong and a bar with plenty of seating. They have plenty of tvs all around that you can watch from one of the few couches with outlets. They have a large area with several rooms to host bday parties. Clean and never crowded the multiple times we've gone during the week. We save our tickets won to save up for the larger ticket prizes. Always a blast for each of us. read more
