I'm the first to be a bit queasy and unenthused as soon as I see the word(s) Company Store, outlet,…read moreand/or no returns. Especially when national stores such as Neiman Marcus, Tory Burch, Anthropologie, Kate Spade, J Crew, Nordstrom, etc., etc., have actual year round, fantastic sales and/or gifts with purchase, it doesn't seem necessary to buy what all too often wears like a "seconds" quality from a second tier outlet. Not so at Eileen Fisher. I'm not certain where the "Company" comes in to the fold, since quality and style at the outlet, so to speak, appears the exact same as EF on sale at NM, etc. Either I'm a complete fool, or they're the real thing on a clearance sale. Most items are in no ways cheap or fast fashion prices. EF sells the classics in natural fibers and recycled fabrics. It's not unusual to see a cozy soft Fall coat made of Alpaca and sewn in Italy to a Tencel jersey dress cut & sewn in NYC, knit & dyed in Montreal. Each clothing label tells how the fabric was responsibly made and the final product manufacturing that went into completing each item sold. Be forewarned, the store is packed to the brim, and dressing rooms force a waiting line, albeit, an efficient waiting line. Especially during one of their fantastic (advertised) sales and sample sales. It's worth the wait, and worth one's time combing the racks for something sharp, fashion forward, well made and comfy. For shorter girls, they have a lot of petite items and for taller girls, there's a huge amount of regular sizes. Same for style. There's things for grandma's, 20-something's and everyone in between. A great store all-around, and what's best about the brand is their clothes last and last longer than you want to wear them. They also have an exchange policy of $5.00 towards new EF's, which I'm not certain how that works, other than I am familiar in the quality of their clothes which endure and can thus be recycled from one wearer to another. No fast fashion to sadly end up in a landfill, here. EF clothes can potentially last a lifetime!

As others have stated, staff here is THE WORST…read more No greeting when you enter. No offering help or info. No offering a fitting room when I have an armful of stuff. And the group behind the register literally couldn't be bothered to stop chatting to ring me up when I found something. They pretty much just refuse to acknowledge there is another human being in the store. Selection is decent, but it's a really frustrating shopping experience. I will only buy here if I can't find it online or elsewhere.

OH Marinella's, thank you for saving my life!…read more I bought my wedding dress at House of Brides and about fell on the floor when my alterations were going to cost almost as much as my wedding dress! SO, being the bargain hunter I am I refused the alterations at HOB and went on a search. I was recommended to Marinella's by my Aunt who had purchased her mother of the bride dress there a few years prior and had my cousin's wedding dress altered here as well. My Mom was able to find a UNIQUE, APPROPRIATE Mother of the Bride dress at Marinella's. No gaudy glitter, outdated patterns, or annoying sales associates insisting that every dress you try on is "THE ONE....ARE YOU GOING TO ORDER IT TODAY?!" I'm SO glad we were referred over to Marinella because she did the alterations for both my Mother and I. On the day of my final fitting my wedding dress fit like a glove... and I had lost over 20 pounds! It was pressed gorgeously (the associate said she'd never taken so long to press a dress {mine was huge}) and couldn't stop gushing over how much she loved my dress. When I put my dress on all the ladies in the store rushed over and gawked at my dress that I hadn't even purchased there! I can't tell you how amazing it was to see my dress go from swimming in it, to looking like it had been made just for me! Marinella was trained in alterations in Italy and also purchases a lot of her dresses from there which is what makes them so unique. I will be returning here shortly to see if I can find a unique MOH dress for my sister-in-law's wedding and at the very least, she'll be doing my alterations!

She called me and said there was a long line at Zara & she was near the front of the line. Out of curiosity I moseyed on over. We found out that Zara has their annual sale this time of year in January. Evidently a lot of people knew about looking at the line outside of Zara waiting to get in. When I got there she was a couple of people from the front (great timing). It's not like I needed anything but I thought what the heck why not take a look. When we got into the store I quickly looked around the store front to back and noticed that they had nothing but women's clothes? I asked someone if they had men's clothes. They mentioned that the men's section is on the other side of the cased opening. As I perused the clothes, shirts (don't need any), pants (don't need any), coats (don't need), Just kind of killing time while my wife was shopping or so I thought. That's when I saw a long hooded winter coat. I have a heavy wool coat that I use when I get dressed up and play adult to go out but it's seen better days. I wanted & needed a long warm winter over coat. I found a coat that I really liked and best of all the price was reduced to $69.99 reduced $100 from the original price. The only problem was the zipper was jammed & wasn't working properly. I tried 3 different coats before finally finding one that works. I did find a salesgirl named Adi that was very patient & helpful w/trying to find a coat w/a zipper that worked. When we came out of the store there was a long line of people trying to get in. Like I said this was the first time I had ever been to a Zara store, but I'm glad I stopped in despite the issue w/the zipper I managed to buy the coat and at the same time I saved $100

I have worked for this company for three years and I would say the fashion aspect is very amazing…read moreand worth investing in good quality materials, but when it comes to this company since it is ran by Israel and fast fashion is their motto. I would prefer quality clothes over quantity that just fall apart easily and not them having a campaign just for a moment to "teach" customers how to sew/mend their brand new purchased items, which is something that everyone should know how to do, but I shouldn't have to purchase a new wardrobe that only last barely once when I wanna keep them for a lifetime and when it comes to managing staff/training new employees. It's like throwing dogs into the wolves, especially on sale days WS/SS(winter sale & summer sale) where we are the most busiest and a company that wants to push for inclusivity, diversity and mental health most people that have worked there that I have seen only want to cause drama(unprofessional) about old useless arguments that has to do with personal reasons and a lot of bickering, but I would say I did love the hospitality of surgeon employees and I have seen good wholesome customers come and shop with us as well. It was also nice to assist them during work travels, but not when it came to only sending a few people to try to help stores that are absolutely falling apart other states just make a quota w/ extremely low staff members. Caring about the human being comes first, not dragging them to the ground to be the next carbon machine. Thank You.
