I'm in here often enough that the workers know me on sight. It's much smaller than the Este Ave. store. But it did expand in the last year. The clothing is not as organized as the Este Ave. store and the aisles are so close together that it's difficult to even look at the clothes. For that reason I usually skip that area. But we do check out the books, housewares and holiday areas. The staff at this store is so friendly! All of the workers are really nice and helpful.

I used to absolutely love digging through this thrift store. It was honestly one of my favorite…read moreplaces around the Cincinnati area to hunt for treasures. Recently they purchased another building and split the store into two sections, keeping home goods in one building and clothing in the other. At first that sounded like a wonderful idea, and I was excited to see how it would turn out. Unfortunately, the expansion hasn't quite had the effect I hoped for. While the space is larger now, it almost feels like it just created more space for junk. When everything was in one building, it felt like there were more hidden gems to uncover. Now it often feels pretty picked over, and a lot of what's left is broken items and random stuff. That said, the store does have a lot of variety. There are clearly organized sections with plenty to browse. The holiday area is huge, with large Christmas, Halloween, and Thanksgiving sections. There's also a big selection of wall art and picture frames, plus a dedicated kitchen section. You'll also find furniture, lamps, vases, technology items and cords, board games, and plenty of children's toys. I was also really unimpressed with the pricing. Some very basic items were priced at over $20 even though they clearly didn't have much value. These definitely weren't the fun thrift store prices you hope to find when you're treasure hunting. It felt more like retail pricing on secondhand items, which kind of takes away the excitement of thrifting. Unfortunately, the prices alone make this feel like one of the more expensive thrift stores rather than one of the good bargain spots. One thing that hasn't changed is how busy it is. The store is almost always packed, which shows it's still a popular spot. I just can't help feeling a little nostalgic for how it used to be when everything was together and it felt easier to stumble upon something special. Lately, I haven't had much luck finding anything good here, but it's still worth a stop if you enjoy browsing.

I am 65 and by golly I earned it! It is too much fun going thrifting because you never know what you will find. The prices are always good in my opinion, definitely better than Goodwill but on this day anything with a red barb was 1.49 with 50% off, yep you read that right, I got clothes for 75 cents! We were in the store several hours and also went to the next parking lot to also shop their home decor, vases, furniture, toys and the like as they bought an old big lots and turned it into this part of their business. I purchased clothes, jewelry, shoes, and purses on this day. I also had a great time with my girlfriend combing through all of the goods and she found a lot of great items also including clothes, home decor, vases, and things for her garden. I will definitely be stopping back in this thrift to see what other great finds we come up with.

We did notice a lot of people walking out empty-handed. Just a few minutes into my visit I quickly figured out why. To call this place a thrift store is really stretching it. The prices here are completely inflated. I could go to a Ross or Burlington and buy most of this stuff for less money than they're charging for it used. A few things here and there appear to be reasonably priced, but if you want anything that has a name brand on it, you're going to completely overpay. Shoes, T-shirts, jeans, sweatshirts, you name it and it was overpriced. I will never go back to this store again, there aren't that many deals to be found and if there are, I don't have the time to search for them.

I paid $2.50 for several classy tops! I purchased a larger suitcase, too! This store is definitely worth visiting! They have tons of board games, kitchenware, toys, housewares, and random little trinkets. Prices are usually pretty affordable, although there is the occasional crazy price. My biggest issue is the location. It's not in an area where I feel particularly safe. I've actually had a guy follow me out to my car here before, so I'm always on high alert when I'm leaving. Definitely not somewhere I'd recommend wandering around without being aware of your surroundings yet there was a security guard here last visit. One weird experience at checkout: the employee accused me of wiping off the price on a wax burner and writing a lower one. She was accusatory and made me uncomfortable. She eventually let me have it for the marked price because she was "too busy," but said she would've charged me more otherwise. It made me feel so weird, like she thought I was stealing!
