DO NOTE USE THESE GUYS! They buy cheap equipment, mark it up, and offer terrible service. Monroe admitted to me they get kickbacks on certain brands, and they push those over what is best for the customer. They took 1/2 of the money for my job upfront and I had to call over 5 times over weeks before I got them to come start the job. In the middle, they claimed they ordered wrong equipment and again I had to stalk them...many may calls to get them to come back. Monroe would agree to come at a certain date and time and wouldn't show up. This happened sooooo many times. And then he wouldn't answer my calls. Towards the end of the job they asked for the remained of the payment, which I gave them....mistakenly. They never came back and never delivered the last equipment I had paid for. Worst customer experience of my life. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH SOMETHTING SO IMPORTANT AS HOME SECURITY. read more

Please do not use these guys at all costs! I had cameras installed and they did not ask if they could go through the roof and they damaged my roof! They took off tiles and didn't even seal the holes that caused water to leak right into my home. They will send a professional salesman to sell their security system but then send college kids to install the cameras who don't know what they're doing!! They destroyed my home and when I called and asked for the supervisor nobody called me back! They should not be in business!!!!! read more

Hired Platinum Vault for a residential job. They were responsive during the quotation processes, but once they got the job, it was downhill. Unfortunately, Stacey's demeanor and unresponsiveness made it incredibly difficult and frustrating to work with him. Stacey is arrogant, doesn't listen to the customer, and only wants to get the job completed with as minimum effort as possible. After-service is non-existent. I had issues after installation and it proved impossible to get a hold of Stacey. No response to emails or phone calls. Incredibly frustrating. read more

Stacy was very knowledgeable and helped us to get the cameras in strategic locations so that some cameras covered two areas. Our system has been installed about a year now, and they work great. Do not use this company unless you want to learn the detail ins and outs of how these systems work and how to keep them working. Rather than simply opening the APP and seeing the cameras or punching in an alarm code and feeling safe. It started out good. Stacey is personable and a good sales person. The red flag should have been that he answers Yes before the question is finished. He was not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. I purchased a complete camera and home security system. My house was professional wired by the previous owners with hard wired sensors on all door frames and window frames. I made it clear to Stacey that I wanted the existing wires used and wanted to be able to tell which connections were not sealed from both the master panel and the 2nd panel in the master bedroom (the way the old system had worked). The first thing his workers wanted to do was install cheap wireless unsightly sensors on every door and window frame. While I succeeded in putting an end to that and requiring them to use the existing wiring it took 4 separate visits to get it to work correctly. During all the visits I had to stay right with the workers to make sure it was being done right. On a positive note, it does give us a sense of security that we received a phone call when our power went out letting us know that power was out to the security panel. I will say that the cameras were installed in the correct positions and the wiring was run professionally. However, I had to do all the cleaning of drywall dust and wood shavings when they were done. Apparently they are not taught the professional manner of cleaning up after themselves. The immense frustration comes from how often the cameras are not accessible. EVERY time my cable company does any update to their system, or EVERY time my smart phone has an update to the APP, I loose connection. I've since spoke with several security companies and learned that much of the problem is caused by the off brand equipment that is used. I am in the process now of upgrading to higher quality hardware. (On a side note, it took 5 phone calls and 2 weeks of calling Stacey and his office just to learn the name of the equipment) If you choose Platinum Vault, make sure you know what hardware is going to be used and get it included in the quote/invoice. Have updated my system with a lot of camera's out side and inside with my new system I can see what's going on via my phone everything was done so professionally as usual haven't had any problem's with the system. Initially, when we had the system installed, I really liked this company. But after a two years our outdoor cameras started to fail. To date we've replaced 4 cameras (we only have 4) and I now have 2 that are out again. The other thing I have issue with is their customer service. I have called on at least 10 occasions to setup service and no one ever returns my call and I'm forced to call again. When we received the initial quote, one of the other companies that gave us a quote mentioned that I was probably getting lesser grade equipment because they'd beaten his price by 15%. I ignored him at the time as just being a sore loser but I now believe he was right and I made the wrong decision. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't use them. And I'm considering just starting over with a new company and cutting my losses. read more

Next day still didn't receive a quote I call him, he says he promisses to start working on it and will send to me latest tomorrow night. The worst company I have ever had the displeasure to meet with. Stacy was so concerned about getting his money more over the actual quality of the service. As soon as we payed them for the work, they disappeared, now our system needs service and our management company constantly tries to reach out to them to set up an appointment, and they constantly dont show up or tell us they will call US back when THEY HAVE TIME! Bought a system a few years ago. It failed within 6 months the DVR is home made. I would rather spend more and use a different company. They claim they done work for big businesses. I doubt it maybe more of a swap meet store. Poor quality cameras. I have yet to replace the system because of the money I spent already. This company deserves a 0 star. They sent their customers an email about people leaving them a one star and hurting the business. Instead of begging customers they need to step up. The cameras are low quality. Downtown LA have better quality. I recommend you just buy a 8-16 camera 1080p or 4K camera system at Costco and pay someone who installs cameras. You will save thousands. read more

Platinum Vault installed a CC package for the condo complex that I own a few months back. Some items were stolen in our parking area and we needed something to ensure that if it happened again, the thieves would be caught. While the initial installation was very quick and prompt, the technicians did not fully turn on the system so it wasn't even recording. On top of that, calls for sending someone out to train us on how to use the equipment were unanswered. They generally told us to call a different number and/or they'll call us back but never actually do so. We had to discover this after another incident last week when we tried to replay the videos. I do not recommend this vendor to anyone as a result. Service should include future support and maintenance. read more

Terrible experience! Stacey came out and was very professional and gave a good quote to install security cameras. When the guys were doing the job they tripped our electrics. We reset the circuit breaker and the 2nd floor of the house had all sorts of problems with lights not turning on etc. The security cameras did work but as I couldn't get lights working I called the office and they agreed to send somebody back the next day to sort out the problem. As a result I didn't pay them which turned out to be a good move. The guy they sent back was a Chinese guy who spoke very little English and he was useless and in broken English told me it was my fault. I had to employ an electrician to look at the problem and when fitting the camera system they had just spliced into existing wires which was not just a poor job but also dangerous. It cost me $500 to repair their bad workmanship and I deducted that amount from what I paid them. I would not reccommend this company read more

I dealt with Stacey who did the installation of the inside work and explained the setup and details of the system while his crew did the work on the outside.
