Would we recommend Corbin Whitlaw / Tier One Pools?  No!  For starters, our project kept getting…read morepushed back.  It was initially supposed to start on 7/28 but didn't actually get started until 9/4.  Corbin was only on site one time, and that was for about 15 minutes towards the end of the build.  His crew was great to work with but they couldn't make some of the decisions that needed to be made. Corbin took us to see the same pool design at another location and we liked the way it looked.  However, the bubblers on their tanning ledge were in a direct line while ours are offset.  This affects the way we can set our lounge chairs.  They installed the wrong heater.  We paid for a 400 BTU and they installed a 250 BTU.  It was also for natural gas and we have propane, which they knew because they dug the hole for the propane tank!  Once this was pointed out to them they said they would not do any more work until we made the final payment!  Per the contract, the final payment isn't due until the work is complete. After that, Corbin and his crew ghosted us.  They also left us with a green pool and we had to hire someone to clean it.  They couldn't believe they'd left our pool like that and they were surprised how much gravel was in the bottom of the pool. We finally had to get an attorney to help us get the job finished.  Now Corbin is ghosting us again on warranty work because we have issues on the equipment and he is not going to provide us with any answers.  We've, once again, had to get our attorney involved. One other thing:  Tier One Pools did NOT build our pool house.  They poured the concrete slab but that was it.  His ad implies they built the "complete backyard experience."  That is completely false.  There are also reviews on his page from crew members and ex girlfriend's who have NOT had pools installed.

Communication was first class (either by text, conversation, or phone call). 2. Their detail in their work surpassed our expectation. 3. If we had a "concern" or question. They listened and answered - problem was always solved. 4. All of the material that was used within the construction was approved by us before installation. Now to explain how this work with us. We had major reconstruction. We had a plan to remove a low bearing wall, for an open concept floor plan. We explained our vision, plan was made, and the work started. During the process of our construction, there were changes that I made (painted the trim, new base boards, & lighting). These changes weren't small changes. Everyone loves last minutes changes (LOL). However, there wasn't a problem. We got 5 inch base boards, trim was painted white, and hanging light over the sink. I do have before and after pictures. However, I was unable to post on this thread. I want to make sure these guys get credit for their work so I will be posting on other website. Braun Renovations, thank you for your work. I will be calling again at the end of the summer for the kitchen/marble installation.

He was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. He explained all the different roofing options in an easy to understand way. He went over all the benefits with the different options, from the type and class of shingle to the color. Over the few days while I was deciding what to do he always picked right the phone and was happy to answer any of my questions or concerns. After the estimate was worked up, Chad gave me all the options. There was no high-pressure sales or pushing us whatsoever. Due to the age of the roof, I decided to not go through the insurance, but pay for the roof myself which the company was quite flexible on the payment. I'm hopeful I won't need another roof for many years or decades, but if I do, I'll make sure to give these guys a call.
