If your business finds your reply as acceptable, you've informed me I have no desire to move forward with your company. I am adding the "facts" from this customer's perspective in response to the owner's comments: - yes, I did approve and pay and was satisfied when everything was alive last year - of course - it was all new and green! I did not stand in every area to make sure water would hit - I assumed they did their job. Only as the grass started to die in many areas this year did it become so obvious. - yes, I asked them in desperation to come out - and they did come a few times - but they never fixed the problem nor made suggestions/proposals on how the dying grass could be fixed. Instead they made it our fault by saying the pressure was low and for not having them make the timer settings on the irrigation controller. The water has to actually hit the grass before the timer setting even matters. All we wanted was for this to be remedied, so the grass would not be dying. - I am adding the bumpy backyard grading photo - looks like a heavy rain rutted out their grading job before sod went down - and that is how it feels - come by and walk on the grass for yourself. Really not even close to "smooth as glass". - The contract for maintenance is also uploaded below - their contract did not even list a price for "Sprinkler Maintenance". If this was truly important and necessary, why not include that fee in the proposal and force the client to cross it out or decline it? Looks unimportant like those other add-ons. Maybe if they added some heads or changed out some heads this could have been prevented, but they never suggested that we do that, so I don't know. They are supposed to be the pros, they came weekly to mow, saw the grass dying, and never once mentioned that there was a problem here or how to solve it. If they had, and we declined the proposed fix, it would be our fault and this review would never have been posted. Too late now. We will have to have a lot of this yard ripped up and re-done, I assume including revamping/modifying the irrigation pipes and sprinkler heads so that they actually water the entire lawn this time. Message me, view and walk my yard, and you decide the "truth" for yourself. read more
