We had a water line leak that flooded the carpet in our bedroom hall on New Years weekend. Our plumber retired last year. So I called my new list of plumbers and they were all booked. Jake was booked, but he rearranged his schedule and came first thing the next morning. They rerouted the leaking pipe through the hall cabinets. They finished within a few hours. I started using Jake about a year ago. I live in an old house and something goes wrong pretty often. I've used many plumbers but after I tried Jake I won't use anyone else. We came home to a flooding bathroom and nauseating sewer water quickly traveling towards our master bedroom. We called Jake's Plumbing, after hours, and he was ringing our door bell before we could even start mopping up the water! He quickly discovered we had a clogged sewer line and someone had poured concrete on the area we needed to unscrew to flush our system. He had the concrete broken up, and system back in order within 30 minutes! His cost was very reasonable and the amount of money, insurance dealings, and time we saved avoiding all that water damage is priceless. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and kind. Woke up Sunday morning to water running behind the wall in my house, never a good feeling! Knocked the drywall out and discovered that when the remodelers nailed in the trim they hit the copper pipe with nails causing the leak. Had to turn the water off at the street until this could be fixed. I called about 10 plumbers and most weren't available for up to a week. Called Jake's and got put on the list for the day, had a plumber out here at about 2pm and the leak fixed by 4.30. It was a little more than I was expecting to pay, but worth every penny as the water is back on and I don't need to wait a week! Quality work and respectful of my home. Jake is a boss! He came out on New Year's Eve and replaced my water heater. Other companies in the area came to give quotes but, wouldn't replace the water heater/tank till after New Year's Day. Jake answered his cell and came by the house within an hour, price matched the lowest of three bids, drained the old tank, and replaced the old heater/tank in just an hour. Jake also went above and beyond and replaced flex lines that were improperly installed AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. This will be the only plumber that I will call from now on (I have used four different plumber's for my mothers house in Edmond and mine in OKC). Forget looking elsewhere, Jake will get the job done! **** Update 2nd time that I have relied on Jake and Brenden. These guys replaced my pressure release valve that was corroded. The builder (Timbercraft Homes) continues to baffle me with their cheap neglected construction. What should have been a 15 minute repairs turned into Pex rework to get the faulty valve off (no space what so ever to unscrew with a pipe wrench). Stay AWAY from Timbercraft homes and call Jake for any plumbing needs that you may have. 5 stars. read more

I just recently bought a home and was struggling to find a plumber to come out and take a look at my sink and pipes that connected to my washroom that was gargling when you run the water, not to mention I couldn't use the washer due to the water sitting in the pipes. I had called to schedule an estimate and begin work promptly on a home I am remodeling for my 66 year old uncle. I spoke with this company and they said they could come out the next day. Since this is a time sensitive project that needs completion pronto due to a new purchasing contract I wanted to move forward ASAP as I couldn't lay tiles until some plumbing was completed. I was asked to send the address and my info via text and they said they would give me a set time the following day or at least 30 minutes notice before arrival with an estimation of "around nine". Instead of bothering to get back to me; I had to reach out to them not once; BUT FOUR TIMES. Rather than respond or get back to me; my messages all went ignored. By noon I quickly realized this place had ZERO INTENTION OF SHOWING UP OR EVEN CALLING TO BE RESPECTFUL OF CLIENTS/POTENTIAL CLIENTS......despite knowing that have large amounts of work available lol it's alright though I got a much better company to come out. They ACTUALLY SHOWED UP; with less notice and are already beginning work this morning. So in truth they probably did us a favor by failing to show up this early on. I woke up one morning and found water was everywhere and filling up my garage! I had heard some great things about Jake so I gave him a call, he came out and fixed a faulty hose on my water heater within hours! He also replaced the water hose faucet on the front of my house. Unfortunately, we bought a house that seems to have a lot of plumbing issues. We had our pipes burst last winter, we have to snake the pipes a lot, we had to replace some toilets and faucets...and I'm sure other things I'm forgetting. Jake's has always done a great job and they've also been very fairly priced. And when they replaced the burst pipe in the slab, they not only rerouted it overhead in lieu of breaking up the slab, but rather than tear apart the tile in the shower to do it, they took all the drawers out of the cabinet next to it, wiggled back in there, cut out a piece of the sheet rock, and repaired it from there so that we didn't have to re-tile the shower. That was such a relief! They are troopers, and they go above and beyond to do things right and with the least amount of damage possible. They are great!
