An instructor led us from beginning to end making a bowl. They were very thorough, patient, and welcoming. We sat down on the wheel forming our clay within minutes, I'd say we had our fully formed bowls within 30-45 minutes. They pulled them for us and began drying them for us to glaze at the tables with the turntables. The place was pretty empty so they let us take our time with glaze. Overall a great experience! Would definitely recommend for a date, family outing, or any other event. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's worth a visit and there are memberships available as well!

Then moving into the studio space, there's plenty of introduction and guidance, specially to each variety of the projects. The staff also continually checks in to make sure you're satisfied at each step. We picked up our project the following week after it dried, sealed, and was finished.

We toured the facilities, the workshops, we actually sat down for some demos from the visual arts department, and then gathered around a kiln for a raku ceramics demo, which was ideal on a cold winter afternoon (winter in Florida?). Also, we were able to visit the gallery, which was hosting a photograph exhibit on the history of turn of the century Lake Apopka, about 40 miles away due West, and that was very interesting and enlightening. We also printed a poster, among other things. Personally, I think it was fun to talk/meet some of the faculty, not that I am immediately looking for a new teacher, but it is good to pick one who has some similarities, or none at all. Challenge yourself. After this visit, I will consider taking some classes here. Or come to more events. I really like Crealdé.

I called today (9 days before the first day) and I was told that it was too late and the last day was Yesterday (10/09/23) (10 days before first session). I pointed out the policy and was told that "session" didn't mean class and it was incorrect so I couldn't get my money back. This is fraudulent. I will be contacting the correct state department for this. This is extremely unprofessional and clearly lacks clarity. If your policy is outdated, correct it on the website. I enjoyed looking through all the options of pottery. I really wanted the popcorn container shaped pottery but unfortunately they were sold out. I decided upon a cupcake container with a removable lid and my boyfriend chose the octopus. The staff was great. We had an employee show us the different painting techniques. We were shown how to choose the colors and the difference each color would have when it was the finished product. I appreciated that there are aprons to wear. It took us a little over 2 hours to complete our masterpieces. During this we snacked on snacks and drinks that I brought in - yes, it is byob (and snacks). I came in several days later to pick up our masterpieces and I loved my cupcake! It came out amazing. I think this can be as affordable of a date night you want it to be based on the items you choose to paint. We had a fantastic time talking and painting. Can't wait to come back.

I had been to a painting place before, but this provide provided more options for an increased amount of creativity. After taking some time to choose from the variation of colors that they had, we got to work. As closing time got near, we were getting a little anxious that we would not finish, but never felt rushed by the staff at all. They were super kind and helpful to us when asking questions. The music was on point and such a vibe. The cost was great as well. I look forward to seeing what my final project looks like & coming back again.
