We came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was slammed! Thankfully we didn't have to wait too long for a table. The staff are super helpful and nice. It may be a little overwhelming at first, but it's easy and simple and you have all of the freedom to take creative liberties. Grab your item(s), brushes or tools and paint. What a great date spot! I have loved driving by this location and seeing all the couples painting together on Friday and Saturday nights - so this was my choice for date night. I enjoyed looking through all the options of pottery. I really wanted the popcorn container shaped pottery but unfortunately they were sold out. I decided upon a cupcake container with a removable lid and my boyfriend chose the octopus. The staff was great. We had an employee show us the different painting techniques. We were shown how to choose the colors and the difference each color would have when it was the finished product. I appreciated that there are aprons to wear. It took us a little over 2 hours to complete our masterpieces. During this we snacked on snacks and drinks that I brought in - yes, it is byob (and snacks). I came in several days later to pick up our masterpieces and I loved my cupcake! It came out amazing. Had the best time this evening at the all fired up in Winter Park. We came in later than expected due to a dinner that ran over, but the staff was super kind and attentive to us. The establishment was clean, well lit, and colorful. It was buzzing with energy and creativity. They allow us to choose our piece and had us take a seat for further instructions. I had been to a painting place before, but this provide provided more options for an increased amount of creativity. After taking some time to choose from the variation of colors that they had, we got to work. As closing time got near, we were getting a little anxious that we would not finish, but never felt rushed by the staff at all. They were super kind and helpful to us when asking questions. It gets super busy here on the weekends, which is when we came, but we were fortunate to find a table when we got there. You add in your phone number and then they text you once it's been fired and is ready to take home. I've been going to another place in a different town that is basically the same as this place, so naturally, I tried this one out. Parking is a pain! It's off a busy street and there is a small parking lot to the left and there's parking in the back of the building, though I'm not sure if it's for this establishment or not. When my friend and I arrived in, we immediately just found seating (only because that's what we do at the other spot we go to, not because we "knew" what to do here..if that makes sense). We then went and picked out our pieces that we wanted to paint (again, we were just assuming what to do based on our previous experience). At this point, we've been in the building for probably 15 minutes and finally someone came and said something to us. She told us that we choose our piece, pick a spot to sit then they would come direct us on what to do next! We had already done that, thankfully but it took so long for someone to explain that to us! Had we never been to a place similar, it's actually confusing on the process. Once we sat, we waited probably another 15-20 minutes. At this point we were actually getting very frustrated because we could have already started our projects. We watched multiple other newer people get help but still no one came to us. My friend finally got up and had to ask someone to help us (which is what they wanted to do; otherwise, we could have just figured it out ourselves). The lady who came and told us their process, very quickly explained the process. Then we were on our own. I actually dislike (a lot) the little papers they give you to put your paint on. I know they sell the cheap plastic paint pallets! They're so easy to clean as well! This makes it to where the paint isn't going everywhere or being wasted! The paper they supply, the paint is very messy! Oh and also, the pieces are kind of expensive. For my piece, it cost $55. Which, I could have just bought something similar for around $20. They don't call to tell you the piece is ready. When I came to pick up my piece, again, parking was insane. There were so many people because it was Valentine's Day. It took forever for someone to assist me again. Overall, I give it 3/5. I just felt like it wasn't a great experience and if I wasn't experienced, it would have made it worse. read more

My friend made a reservation ahead of time since it was an "adults-only" night, and we were a group of eight. When we arrived, we were greeted and instructed to pick out the items we wanted to paint first before receiving further guidance. The pottery selection process was a bit tight, as the shelves of pottery pieces were positioned right next to the register, making it tricky to browse while maneuvering around other guests. However, once we all chose our pieces, the main lead- who was super friendly came by to explain how to select colors and provided some technical tips for painting. I hadn't been to this studio before, so I was surprised by their setup for the paints. Instead of individual palettes that had dips, they provided flat laminated paper for pouring colors. While this worked, it limited how much paint I could put down at once without risking spills, so I found myself frequently getting up for more. Seating was also a bit tight. Our group was placed right next to another table, and since I was seated in the middle, I kept bumping into the table and chairs behind me whenever I had to get up for paint. One nice touch was that they offered letter stickers for decorating pieces. At first, I couldn't find the letters I needed, but when I asked, they quickly located extras for me, which I really appreciated. For a Saturday night, the studio was clearly a popular spot. I did really enjoyed that they allowed outside food and drinks, which made the experience even more relaxed and enjoyable. Our painting session lasted nearly three hours, so being able to snack and sip on something made a big difference to the whole experience. There was even someone who was celebrating their birthday and we all sang with them. Of course the price varies depending on the item you select. However- I do think this is more of a special occasion outing, as it was a bit pricey. When we checked out, they did offer punch cards with rewards for return visits, which was a nice perk. At the end of the night, they let us know that our pieces would be ready for pickup in about seven days after being fired in the kiln. 5 Stars for a fantastic rainy day/AC option for those with kids, and a well-run spot for adults looking to zone out to some crafting. I had my niece for the day and August meant I needed indoor activities. Luckily, I'd seen reviews of this spot and passed by many times, so it was top of my list. Parking: There are a few designated spots in a marked lot, but don't fret if they're taken as there's plenty of on street parking on the street behind the shop. As we entered, we were enthusiastically greeted by their staff. Hunter helped set us up at a table and explained the whole process (in a way that my 5 year old niece could understand). He was incredibly helpful the whole time, periodically refreshing the whole room's old brush cleaning water, as well as checking in with us throughout. My favorite part of this experience was how much their staff, Hunter in particular, was open to helping a flailing aunt (me) who is struggling to help a 5 year old while not completely stealing her joy because of my need to correct every smudge of paint on her ceramic mug. He truly saved me (lol), offering to help and making my niece smile from ear to ear. The prices are on the bottom of the ceramics you choose at the start, and the paint and painting tools are clearly set out and labeled so that a room filled with painters wouldn't be lacking. Once you're done, you are able to return anything after 4 days to pick up your creations. Just note that they won't email you to let you know it's ready, as they can tell you before you leave your first paint sesh. Overall, I'm a fan! A liittle expensive but so much fun. My husband and I came for my birthday. I remember going to places like this as a kid and have been wanting to go as an adult for awhile. We came on a Saturday afternoon and didn't expect it to be as packed as it was. We were quoted a forty minute wait but it ended up only being about ten minutes before we got a spot to sit. They have tons of different pieces to choose from and a variety of types of items - from lights to trinket dishes to plates and bowls and then just some for fun animals and things. My husband opted for a dragon and I went with a house you can put lights in to use as a night light. Approximately four hours later... We had such a great time and the staff is helpful. There's tons of colors and tools to choose from. We will definitely come again though we wish there was a location closer to us in Clermont! read more

*rating purely on my experience since I haven't picked my piece up* I've had All Fired Up on my list for quite away and I was excited to hear that my friend would be holding a birthday party here! Since I didn't book the party I can't speak to that, but it was nice that they gave up a large table in the corner where we could have a small table for food and drink that were brought by the host for the party. Compared to other pottery painting places I've been to, All Fired Up has a large assortment of pottery pieces to paint! They had pieces ranging from small animals, kitchen utensils, kitchen ware and more. They have a good assortment of paint colors, and I appreciate that our instructor did an overview before we painted and stopped by every now and then to see if anyone needed assistance. It was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night, but not overly crowded. They let us know that our piece would be ready to pick up in 5 days, which I feel is fairly quick compared to other places I've been! The only reason I'm knocking off a star is because the piece are pretty pricey and there were a lot of other options I would have loved to paint but ended up being out of my price range. Update Post Owner's Response: We'd just like to clarify a few things. We didn't reach out last minute, we reached out 3 days prior to a location that says they accept even walk ins. We didn't have any expectation other than just getting some info. The manager, Madison, was the one who introduced the idea of making a reservation to me as I didn't know it was possible other than booking a party. She assured me over and over the seats would be set aside as I thanked her for helping us. After speaking with Erin the Owner (who called after this review posted), it seemed that Madison had given a different version of that conversation where she said she'd "see what she could do". Despite being nothing but polite and filling her in on what actually happened (as is documented in the group chat we were coordinating in, with other girls having called too), it still kind of sounds like it's being painted that we were someone unreasonable for the expectation of the tables being saved and that doesn't really sit right with us. And also, this was my first time coming to this business but not my first time to a pottery painting studio-- people usually stay until they're done right? Or is there a time limit? Why would five hours be relevant? I painted until my piece was done, then we cleaned up our space and left. I really really wish it didn't go down like this. I can understand it being busy and things happening even if I don't have to love it, but the response that paints us as potentially inconsiderate or demanding when we did our due diligence didn't sit right with our group and I just wanted to clarify. Original Review: I recently spoke with the manager of All Fired Up regarding a group of 20 women who wanted to visit their location together. The manager very clearly assured me that they would sit 20 spaces aside for our group but when we arrived, we only had 2 tables (12 spaces). They said we could put chairs in the aisle and squeeze an extra person on each. We also brought snacks which would have been completely fine to evenly distribute among the people and space we expected to have, but given that we had 8 less spaces than expected to seat people, it was so insanely cramped and uncomfortable because so many extra people were packed like sardines and kinda had to shift and take turns for table space to paint. The reasoning they gave for this was the reservation wasn't made far in advance-- but what's confusing to me was that the manager was the one who recommended and offered to hold the tables, and I was assured that we would have our spaces. If they didn't have space or couldn't guarantee it, why offer? And if something changed, why weren't we contacted? These are fair and reasonable questions. If we weren't under the impression that our tables were being held here, we probably would have ended up at the Waterford Lakes location that was FAR less busy that night according to one of the girls who accidentally went to that location before making it over to Winter Park. We even had to tell people running behind to not bother coming because we simply didn't have the space for them and that honestly felt awful because everyone was really looking forward to this get together. Multiple group members bought 2-3 pieces and we felt like the least we could have expected was to not be physically uncomfortable while we patroned their establishment. Our group currently has around 400 crafty women in Central Florida looking to connect and enjoy time together, so I really wanted this to be a positive experience to encourage more similar events (especially because I LOVE pottery painting and Winter Park), but this kinda missed the mark for us read more

We then went to the paint and tool bar and got to work! This is the perfect group activity for team building or catching up with friends. Also a great date spot if you want something different to do! I've been to All Fired Up twice now - once before they renovated, and once after. It's great and the changes they made are stunning! They have a small lot right nearby for guests to park in, and there's a big sign letting you know where it is. It gets quite busy on the weekends, especially in the afternoon, so keep that in mind if you're planning to go. They don't kick people out for being there too long either, which I personally love because I could stay all day lol. They have plenty of pottery pieces to choose from - everything from plates to mugs to figurines to vases and way more. The prices are pretty high, but any pottery painting place is expensive IMO. The workers are all super sweet and helpful, whether it's your first time or hundredth. You don't need to know how to do anything as they'll show you. They can even help you with special techniques if you want! After 4 days, your pottery is ready for pick up. They don't notify you, so you just have to come in sometime after that timeframe. My husband & I came here for the first time last night (Friday) and had a great time!! I called and made a reservation because they said it gets busy on weekend evenings, and they definitely weren't wrong! We walked in and went to the desk and they gave us direction on picking our piece of pottery then they took us to our table. We had a cute little table off to the side and when we sat down they talked us through the process with the colors and different techniques we can use. It took us about an hour and a half for us to finish painting and they just came up to our table to be able to pay. They do also have aprons on a side wall near the paint if you need. I believe you can make reservations in advance if you don't want to wait. The staff was friendly and explained the process clearly. There are many paint colors and design options to choose from to really get creative. It takes about 5 days to a week to receive your items since they have to be fired up (hence the business name). We spent lots of time debating what pieces we wanted to do because we are so indecisive. They had so many options of things to paint and we ended up choosing 2 things each.
