We were greeted and spoke with the owner of the store for a while. I ordered The Raven specialty slushie. It is made from mango, strawberry, lemon, rum and triple sec. It was delicious. I had to keep reminding myself to pace myself and not to drink too fast. It was that good. It was not too strong and tasted great. Calliope Street offers painting classes. You only need 4 people minimum for a private party. They not only provide slushies but also offer other alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages for purchase. Now is the time to visit and enjoy everything Calliope has to offer. Calliope Street will be closing after December as the owner is retiring.

We did a girls' night here last Friday. It was awesome! The…read moreowner heard we were bringing food so they had set up a table for our food items, in advance. That was so helpful. Picking your project in advance is required so they can have all your stuff ready. The fine details like colors and stains are decided on the spot. Funny enough, 3 out of 7 of us chose the same project! It was the holiday card display board. But even when that happens, as you can see with my picture, they all turned out very different. The class was booked for three hours and we were indeed there for 3 hours. They sell alcoholic bevvies for $5 and had a great selection. They have multiple bathroom stalls there that are very clean. They have a sink in the back with special soap that takes off any paint you might get on your hands/ nails. The staining process you gotta be careful with and wear the gloves. And the sanding process please be careful. A friend got a huge splinter which was bleeding. They helped us clean it up and put a bandaid on it so she could keep creating. Employees were super helpful and easy to flag when you needed help. But they pretty much roamed around the whole time and jumped in to help workout needing to be called over. I was impressed. They took group photos for us and we left with our beautiful projects! We can't wait to come back. They have events for kids as well.

An instructor led us from beginning to end making a bowl. They were very thorough, patient, and welcoming. We sat down on the wheel forming our clay within minutes, I'd say we had our fully formed bowls within 30-45 minutes. They pulled them for us and began drying them for us to glaze at the tables with the turntables. The place was pretty empty so they let us take our time with glaze. Overall a great experience! Would definitely recommend for a date, family outing, or any other event. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's worth a visit and there are memberships available as well!

The most unprofessional part of it is that the money was never refunded to my account. Even though they called me and asked me if I wanted the funds given back and I told him yes. Anyway I knew at some point I would get my finances back. So I just made a call and let them know that they never gave me back my money and then I would like to use the credit for a class. With no issues at all they made it happen. We had a lady name Ebony who was definitely well knowledgeable about painting. She also sold me one of her paintings as well. Definitely a beautiful painting that I had to take home with me. She was great as far as her leader ship, her knowledge of painting and her overall ability to just have some fun and give great directions with a small group on a Wednesday. I normally just do food for yelp, but because this was so much fun and so entertaining I definitely want others to know about this place. If you're looking for a nice paint and sip with friends, Then certainly look no further. This is the place!
